Fair to say it's no oil painting from the outside, (1970's architecture at it's not-so-finest), but from the inside looking out, the elevated view is absolutely stunning and it comes with a high specification interior to add a touch of luxury to your stay. Up two flights of communal stairs (no lift I'm afraid but the view is always best from the top) and sharing the second floor and a small porch with just one other flat, the door opens into a hallway that leads ahead to the master bedroom. (Our children's room is to the right but remains private and guaranteed to be unoccupied during your visit!)

The master bedroom comes with a king-size bed with a built-in HD TV that rises up and down electronically and has bluetooth speakers also built in. (Please just be considerate with the volume during quiet hours.)

In the hallway there is a recessed cabinet with nautical ornaments that offers a lovely, soft light in the evening.

Round the corner is the modern shower-room which comes with a small basin, a WC and a wide opening shower with an automatic sensor light and a wall of "wave” tiles. There's a hand-swipe sensor light under the mirrored-cabinet and ceiling spot lights. The flooring matches that in the kitchen and resembles pier/boardwalk decking, only softer for bare feet!

The dining room comes with a bespoke, ocean, resin table designed with attention to detail to remind you of the sea while you eat. Better still, views of the real sea are straight through the window and the breakfast/work bar at this window is the ideal place inside to sit and watch the water sports on the Marine Lake. This is our favourite place for dinner or drinks when its just the two of us!

Through the wide arch into the living room is the view-to-beat-all-views out of the full-length French windows that open half way across onto the balcony. This comfortably accommodates dining for two with a bistro table and chairs or one of our two fully-reclining, comfortable sun loungers. This balcony often remains sheltered by the wall to the side when people on the promenade are being blown about - it can be a real sun trap and is mostly secluded in view from the other balconies so you won't be overlooked. On warmer days it's the perfect place for breakfast or dinner and for drinks at night when you can look out across the lights in Wales and listen to the scores of birds that congregate at night.

Back inside the living room there's another HD TV, 2 sofas and a couple of footstools. There's also a spotting scope on a tripod that can be adjusted to allow over 5 miles of viewing across to Wales or for some close-up bird watching on the Marine Lake and sandbanks.

The living room opens onto the kitchen through another arch and is adjoined by a second breakfast bar / work space. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted with everything you'll need during your stay including a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, toastie-maker and a coffee machine with Lavazza coffee, tea and sugar. With a choice of 3 feature lighting options, it's designed with a Santorini blue splash-back and a deeper blue ceiling which contrast the minimalist white units. A section of cupboards are locked up with our belongings - nothing exciting, just things like half-eaten Nutella jars! - but everything else is available to you.
Rather than buying dispensable items for guests, we want you to enjoy this coastal retreat the way we do with added touches like the crockery (Rick Stein Coves of Cornwall range) and blue-fired water glasses.

From the colour scheme throughout the flat - Mediterranean blue & white with splashes of ochre to add a sun/sand-coloured touch of warmth - to details like the canvas and glass photo-art with scenes of beaches, the Mediterranean and water sports, to the bathroom and balcony tiles, everything has been designed to make you feel like you're on holiday from the moment you step through the door and we hope you'll enjoy staying here as much as we do.

Guest access
The main entrances, at the front and back of the building, are shared by 5 other flats, 2 on each floor, but once inside the flat you won't be sharing with anyone. Please note however that one bedroom (a second bedroom belonging to our children) will remain locked as will a small numbers of cupboards around the flat.
You have a choice of private parking either inside our garage or immediately in front of it.

Welcome to your perfect home away from home. This lovely property is located conveniently for Liverpool and has private parking at the rear for your use.

As you come in through the front door, to the right you will find a comfortable living area with ample seating, a smart tv and a log burner. To the rear of the living room is a kitchen/diner with shaker style cabinets and all modern amenities.

Upstairs you will find a large family sized bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a dresser and plenty of wardrobe space. The rear bedroom has a double bed and again, plenty of wardrobe space.

Access to the property is via lock box.

Guests will have access to the whole property.

There is secure free parking to the rear.

Between each booking, this home is professionally cleaned to the enhanced standards and the linen (sheets and towels etc) is professionally laundered.

We have travel cots and high-chairs available (free of charge but subject to availability). No linen is provided for the travel cot. They are not kept on site, so please advise us in advance if you need these for your visit so that we can endeavour to ensure they are provided in time for your arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for these items.

Usual check-in time is strictly from 4pm and check-out time is by 10am. We're willing to be flexible with this by arrangement but this is dependent on other bookings, so please let us have any requests in advance of your stay.

Birkenhead is a town on the Wirral Peninsula, along the south bank of the River Mersey, opposite Liverpool. There is plenty to see and do in Birkenhead. Visit Hamilton Square known for the iconic town hall and also many Grade 1 listed buildings. Locally there are also some great beaches, for a bit of sea air.

This property is in a great location just 2 minutes away from the popular Royal Liverpool Golf Club, perfect for any golf lover. It is also located with easy access to Port Sunlight, which is a peaceful Merseyside village founded by a Victorian era entrepreneur to house his workers. Its art & crafts cottages are surrounded by paths winding through fields & woodland. There is a great museum detailing the village’s history as well as tea rooms & cosy pubs – making it a wonderful and interesting place for visitors.

With plenty of shopping opportunities and also many places to eat & drink the location of this home is great. We recommend Yog Bar for something different, maybe try one of their Yogtails!!! Located on the beautiful Wirral Peninsula, Heswall is a lovely vibrant town with restaurants, shops & cafes to peruse. Located near the coast, there are some beautiful beaches nearby such as Thurstaton. The home is also well located for golfers with golf clubs nearby, including the famous Royal Liverpool. Liverpool is accessible by ferry or car and offers a great day or evening out. Chester is also not far with all its history and great restaurants, cafes and bars.

There are both bus and train links locally.

We have travel cots and high-chairs available (free of charge but subject to availability). No linen is provided for the travel cot. They are not kept on site, so please advise us in advance if you need these for your visit so that we can endeavour to ensure they are provided in time for your arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for these items.

The town of Heswall has a rich and longstanding history, dating back further than the Doomsday Book where it is referred to as ‘Eswelle’. In the nineteenth century, Heswall was a small hamlet centred around St. Peter’s Church, the land around the church dotted with cottages, dwellings and heathland.

As the nearby city of Liverpool grew, so did Heswall as wealthy merchants set up lavish holiday homes in the town, taking advantage of spectacular views across the Dee and in to North Wales. Today, Heswall still has some opulent homes, and the town centre itself has become known as a hot spot for shoppers, diners and for those looking to enjoy a good night out.

During the day, the town enjoys a lively yet relaxed atmosphere as locals go about their daily business. While some national shopping chains exist, the town stays true to its roots in local business, with some lovely independent shops showcasing local produce and craftsmanship.

For golfers, Heswall Golf Club is a must, offering a round of golf with idyllic views across the Dee and in to Wales and not forgetting The Royal Liverpool Golf club only a 10 minute drive from this property!

- "Positives - really lovely location a very short distance from Port Sunlight museum and Lady Lever Gallery. We booked for the guided tour and it was very enjoyable and interesting. Plenty of space for four adults - lovely lounge and huge very pretty main bedroom Ample hot water and good shower. However there was no lock at all on the toilet door and not one of the four of us were able to engage the bolt on the separate bathroom door. These are fundamental requirements in any accommodation- not least one that would sleep 5 people and need to be urgently addressed. The outdoor area at the rear would benefit from something like a wooden garden bench. There was a very pleasant conservatory with furniture in it but it wasn’t possible to open the external doors to take that outside ( as per property photographs). Finally there were a number of badly broken floor tiles in the kitchen area. All in all a lovely location, spacious and clean accommodation and an enjoyable stay. Just needs attention on the above to merit 5*."

It remained reasonably cool on warmer days despite being on the top floor. I did have some trouble with the getting the hob to work in order to cook but that may just be a misunderstanding of the controls on my part. The dining table was a bit wobbly so that could be fixed. - "The check in was simple and free parking was very close to the entrance to the apartment. The apartment was as described and the pics are an accurate reflection. The apartment is furnished and decorated to a very high standard an oozes comfort. There are three televisions in the apartment which enabled me to watch the football and the golf whilst my partner watched her usual programmes. The appliances in the apartment are all new and easy to use. The apartment is only 50 yards from Hoylake Station which was handy for my son who had to go into Liverpool a few times. It is also close to shops and eateries within short walking distance. A particularly good Wetherspoon's is only 2 blocks away. It is only a short walk to Hoylake beach and a short drive to West Kirby beach and marina. It is also situated within walking distance of Royal Liverpool Golf Club. Overall we had a great five days in this wonderful apartment and communication with host Alex was excellent."

This a beautifully presented modern 4 bed detached house with living space set over 2 floors and a private rear garden with a seating area and equipment for children to enjoy.

On the ground floor there is an accessible bedroom with a double bed. A downstairs w/c. The spacious living room has a smart TV, comfortable seating and an electric wood burner effect fire. The Kitchen is modern & spacious with all modern amenities & a dining table that seats 6. There is also a separate utility area with a washing machine & tumble dryer and an office with a dedicated workspace, perfect for those who work from home.

On the second floor there are 3 further double bedrooms - one with a king-size bed, the second with a double bed and single bed and a small double bedroom. Tow of the bedrooms bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. All the bedrooms are carpeted and have ample storage and hanging space for your use during your stay. There is also a full bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Guests will have access to the entire house (although one further bedroom is locked).

Please note that the property has a Smart TV with app access. You will need to use your own logins and the TV does not have live TV. However, you can watch live tv through both the BBC and the ITV app for example.

Between each booking, this home is professionally cleaned to the enhanced standards and the linen (sheets and towels etc) is professionally laundered.

We have travel cots and high-chairs available (free of charge but subject to availability). No linen is provided for the travel cot. They are not kept on site, so please advise us in advance if you need these for your visit so that we can endeavour to ensure they are provided in time for your arrival. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests for these items.

Usual check-in time is strictly from 4pm and check-out time is by 10am. We're willing to be flexible with this by arrangement but this is dependent on other bookings, so please let us have any requests in advance of your stay.

We welcome one, well-behaved dog - please enquire if bringing more than one dog. Please keep the dog downstairs and off the furniture. There is a dedicated dog parking spot under the stairs in the kitchen, which your dog should love. Please bring your own dog bed and bedding. The garden is dog friendly and securely fenced. Please ensure the side gate is closed and please clear up all dog waste and dispose within poo bags in the green bin.
We have a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse (verbal or physical) or generally antisocial behaviour by guests to our representatives, staff and our neighbours.
Any violation of the house rules will forfeit the guest the right to leave a public review.

A dog is welcome at an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance to advise that you are bringing your dog. If you have a second dog please let us know and this will be considered. Please kindly consider the following rules if bringing your dog;

-Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.

Our house was built in 1938 by the AE Reynolds family of Liverpool (motorcycle manufacturers) All of the oak & pitchpine woodwork was hand made as were the large bowed glass front and rear windows. The house is thatched in the traditional style and is unique in the area. There is a rail and bus service close to hand

I work from home as s beautician so please keep communal areas clear.

The space
The Living room, kitchen, toilet and bathroom will be shared between the guests and myself and I expect everyone in the household to clean up after themselves and keep communal areas clean and tidy.

Access to their own room and social spaces including: kitchen, living room, toilet, bathroom.

During your stay
I work anytime between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 3pm Saturday from home and occasionally pick up the odd bar job and work away weekends. I am available most evenings and weekends and throughout the day everyday.

Other things to note
No Smoking on the premise at all or naked flame of any kind during your stay.
No children.
No Pets.
No loud parties.
No charging Electric Cars as don’t have the facility to. House electrics cannot handle it and will be a fire hazard.
Additional guest such as a partner is an additional £15 for the same room. If you request an additional room then please book the additional room as normal through the booking system.
If additional guests turn up unannounced to stay without pre arrangement you will be refused entry or asked to leave and will lose your booking without refund.

Little Orchard is a beautiful period thatched home set in ample gardens with off road parking. This listing is for a double room. (we also have a separate listing for a single room) Tea & Coffee facilities in each room.
We are in an upscale area of the Wirral peninsular, close to superb restaurants and the sea. Close to hand is the Wirral Way coastal walk, stunning beaches at West Kirby, Hoylake, and Thurstason. Chester is just a 20-minute ride away as is the Oaks designer outlet.

Guests are free to use the gardens. There is a bathroom with separate WC There is ample safe on road and limited off road parking on the property.
There is also a downstairs WC with washbasin and cloak room space

There are restaurants within a short walk and the coast is a very short drive away. For those who like to walk the Wirral Way Coastal walk pases through Heswall

The property is a Semi Detached Property within walking distance of Heswall Town Centre. There is a bus stop at the end of the road with Regular buses to Liverpool .
This is a spacious comfortable bedroom with a Full Size TV and is on the ground floor. The Bed is a bed settee and is just as comfortable as a conventional bed.
The main Bathroom is upstairs and is shared with other guests and there is a toilet downstairs too.
