Location in main street so walking distance to eating places. Spa was great (Grenache apartment). Ground floor entry to this one, so that was great too if you have accessibility requirements. The only downside was the bed wasn’t particularly comfy but after a full day of exploring the area we didn’t have any trouble sleeping. - "We booked 1 unit for 2 nights without reading any reviews. Later on got concerned when we read some negative reviews but our experience was amazing with all check in instructions provided. Property is located in a winery with amazing hill views and surroundings. Jacob's creek and other wineries are very close by. Room was clean and bed was comfortable with all towels and toiletries provided. Small kitchenette with Induction plate, microwave, tea coffee, milk, cutlery, oil, salt, pepper and dishwashing stuff provided. To our surprise, crackers and 2 small packets of chips were also provided. We had an issue buying their wines from the wine locker provided in the room. Paid for it but the locker didn't open. Lucky had my own wine with me to enjoy. Refund is being organised. 1 BBQ was clean and in working condition but need to book in advance. Certainly recommend this place to anyone. In a shady tree-lined street is this delightful 1920's Barossa heritage stone cottage. With garden views, massive Australian eucalypt gum trees, it is a quality escape retreat for families and friends - one of the best!
Miriam's Cottage was restored in the mid-1990's and has been providing visitor accommodation since. You can be assured that your host provides the best of Barossa experiences. To welcome you on arrival we leave a bottle of Barossa wine and cheese plate.
The large country style kitchen is well equipped. Locally sourced provisions are left for you to self-prepare your breakfasts.
There are two bedrooms. The front bedroom has a queen size antique bed while the second bedroom has a king bed or two singles beds.
The sun-room opens to the pergola overlooking the expansive gardens. Ducted reverse cycle air conditioning means you will be comfortable all year around.
Close walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Or if wanting to enjoy the garden and peaceful setting a gas BBQ is provided for your use. Making this the perfect place to enjoy a glass of Barossa wine.

At first glance, yes it's a shed. But explore further and you will find an unique Aussie experience, a fully functional self contained room. Shower, toilet and kitchenette. All private and seperate from our house. It's normally used for overnighters by family and friends. Please be open minded in your expectations, it's not the Ritz, Hilton, Taj Mahal but what it is clean, tidy, private affordable accomadation. Single or couple. Please note that toilet, shower and sink are located in same room.

Its not the Taj Mahal but its clean tidy and compact. Queen bed. Designed for a couple or single person. Room is insulated with reverse split air conditioning. (ignore the old in wall aircon in photo)

Guest access
The floor plan shows the area which is yours during your stay. As shown this room is part of a shed for which there is an access door but this is locked when the room is in use. The room is fully insulated with air conditioning.

If you are looking for a dinning experience the Barossa is home to a number of 5 star restaurants. Appellations, Fino at Seppeltsfield, Ferment Asian, and Hentley Farm. Bookings are essential. All are no more than a 10min drive from our home. Maggie Beers farm shop is a short drive from our accommodation of around five minutes.

Our Africa Inspired guest room in the beautiful Barossa Valley has vineyard views, has a separate entrance and is self contained with a walk in robe and ensuite toilet. We have a tennis court on site available to guests.

The space
We live in a one acre block of land with a pool, tennis court and large lawned area, We have vineyard on either side of our property so the views are beautiful.

You are welcome to walk around and enjoy the garden area in front of your room and at the back next to the tennis court

During your stay
We live on the property next to the guest suite, and are available to chat, answer questions etc. We are a relaxed family, happy to chat to our guests and offer advice on where to go and what to do.

Other things to note
The kitchenette is not in the guest room, but in a room across the garden. It is a short walk of approximately 100m. It has a microwave, small counter oven and stove, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Their is a mini bar fridge in the bedroom along with a kettle.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. With your own private room and bathroom on a spacious green block, you will feel right at home. Walking distance to the Barossa Co-op and a short drive from all of the Barossa's must-sees. Bring a bottle and sit outside to enjoy all of the peaceful country air.

This cute little flat is in walking distance to five wineries , local pub, local shop and restaurant. Disabled friendly with assistance bars either side of the toilet and a very large shower with assistance bar. Would suit Singles, Couples or Couple with one or two small children. Enjoy what the barossa has to offer within a short walk away! Please note this is strictly a Non Smoking accomodation.

Centrally located and within walking distance to main street cafes, cellar doors, the local supermarket, the Barossa Bushgardens, the local swimming pool, library plus a wonderful little walk in the countryside at the end of the street! Your parking space is outside the French doors...unpack & relax before your dinner reservation.

The space
The Guest Room is attached to the house with its own private access doors at the front and back. The ensuite is adjoined and private for your use only.
The bedroom is a cosy space with a bar fridge, kettle and toaster and an open wardrobe and a shelf to store your clothes.

It's a 5 min walk to Barossa Fresh supermarket, Aldi with Australia Post, a newsagents, Sushi shop hairdressers, massage, wine merchant plus more.

It's a 10-15min walk to Elderton Cellar Door and Penfolds as well as a load of good cafes including Fleur Social and Barista Sister on the main street. A short drive to Greenock and you will be ar my favourite El Estanco which is fabulous for breakfast....and pizza on Friday nights!
Other short walks include the Nuriootpa Library, Nuriootpa swimming pool and the Barossa Bushgardens. Anytime Fitness is also just 'round the corner...and there are lots of walks you can do around the place. If you're a foodie...you can check out the cheese room at the supermarket Barossa Fresh!

Other things to note
Great little walk past vineyards and old orchards up to the Mill. Nuriootpa is centrally located in the Barossa which means you are ideally situated to access most cellar doors and restaurants within a 10-15 min drive.
Also, I turn the WiFi off at 1030pm and on again at 630am.

Perfect for one or two people, The Writer's Studio is fully self-contained.
It has a really comfortable and firm inflatable queen bed.
Away from the main house, it opens out onto a small orchard.
This is a quiet oasis you can enjoy in between exploring all the Barossa has to offer.
It has dining and sitting areas as well as a reading nook in the loft. It has a sofa which can open out for a child if necessary. Or we can set up another inflatable bed in the loft, accessed by a loft ladder.

The space
The Writer's Studio is great for singles or couples.
I originally called it, The Shed, as it was once a hay shed with three walls and a grass floor. It morphed into The Writer's Studio after various friends asked to use it as their retreat to spend time quietly catching up on writing projects.
Wineries abound, as do eating opportunities, ranging from the award winning Appellation at The Louise and fermentAsian (consistently names in the Top 100), to Vintners, Harvest Kitchen, 1918, St Hugo’s and Maggie Beer's Farm. There is also a huge selection of light meal options offered by most of the wineries.

Guest access
You are free to sit in the garden or the orchard. The kitchenette has a small oven, hot plate, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. If you are cooking and need specific utensils or pots, just let us know and you are welcome to borrow them from the house kitchen.
Bed linen and towels are provided.

Other things to note
The Writer's Studio is literally at the bottom of the garden of the main house and there is plenty of street and pavement parking at the front.
