Our host was very warm and welcoming and we had some very interesting conversations. the beds were very comfortable , the kitchen was well equipped too. It was a peaceful location set in beautiful gardens off the main road but it was very easy to visit the next village of Palekastro for shopping and eating in the tavernas. Not far into Siteia if you want a busier place. The courtyard is a lovely place to sit to take in the atmosphere. We would recommend for couples and small groups. If you enjoy touring and exploring there are some lovely beaches within 20 to 50 minutes drives depending on your choices. If you like quiet and peaceful beaches try Itanos and Xerocampos. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, some typical and special/extra guidelines we follow when cleaning the spaces of the house between reservations are presented:
• Welcoming and cleaning staff use a 3D printing protective mask, gloves and a disposable waterproof robe.
• Air conditioning units, fabric (eg furniture upholstery, curtains, windows, etc) and hard surfaces are cleaned with a steam appliance. So, a steam cleaner is used to ensure maximum cleanliness and hygiene removing up the enveloped viruses, such as the coronavirus or influenza, and the common household bacteria from hard surfaces, such windows, etc.
• The outdoor hot tube is emptied and cleaned between rentals or every week (in case of long duration booking).
• Touch-free dispensers for hand sanitizer at the house main entrance and the garage.
• Good cleaning of the surfaces, which the guests often touch, such as knobs, toilet surfaces, etc.

This self-catering accommodation, also, features a full-kitchen including a fridge, an electric ceramic hotplates cuisine, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a toaster, a sandwich maker, French-press coffee maker, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, tea-and-coffee amenities and all utensils necessary for dining in. The kitchen leads into a living room with a dining table and chairs for 8 people.
Moreover, on this floor next to the main house there is an independent fully-equipped guest room available with private facilities and amenities that guarantee a sense of autonomy and comfort (en suite bathroom, mini fridge, electric cuisine, etc).

SECOND FLOOR
Three modern, bright and air-conditioned bedrooms are recently fully-renovated to the highest standards and each is fitted with anatomic, anti-allergic latex mattresses and pillows, boasting en suite bathrooms in each one of them. The bathrooms are stocked with bathrobes, slippers, hair-dryers, towels and several luxury amenities. Specially, the master room is equipped with a hydro-massage column. All bedrooms have a balcony with mountain view and include flat-screen satellite TVs and free wireless internet access.
A separate area with a washing machine and dryer is available.

Evelyn's House private terrace enjoys an unobstructed view to the Chania bay, Sabionarra Rampart and the imposing White Mountains. Villa Gaia is a traditional stone built house, recently renovated (2008), located in a quiet area in the village Skouloufia, 18km away from Rethymno. The villa is built in one floor layout. On the exterior of the house, there is a big yard with a 25sqm swimming pool with sunchairs and umbrellas around it , a stone made barbecue and a garden. There is also a large veranda with a dining table covered by a pergola. The house has a spectacular view to the sea and the surrounding area, which the visitor can enjoy from the yard.
Ideally suitable for 5 people, there are three bedrooms in the Villa, all with view to the sea – one with double bed and terrace, one with semi-double bed and terrace and one with twin beds. A baby cot is also provided to the guests.
The house has a spacious dining and living room, traditionally decorated, with a fireplace and a smart satellite TV with a Blueray player and an open plan fully equipped kitchen. There is also one bathroom with W/C, and hydro massage bath.
All of the rooms are fully air conditioned. The combination of the air conditioning, the fireplace and the sun heating makes the house suitable for all the seasons of the year.

- "Our flight landed a very late on Sunday in Chania airport. We got into the car and drove 1.5 hours to the house. Night driving in Greece is special experience but all vent very smooth, GPS was doing great job in leading us, no mistakes. All shops and restaurants were closed due to late timing but luckily for us the owner of the house (Zack) has prepared amazing food and drinks for us to make sure that no one is left hungry in his house. The house and the owner (Zack) gave very positive impression, actually the house looks much better compared to the pictures. There are 3 sleeping rooms which are all equipped with the air conditioners. Living room is big enough and its combined with the kitchen which is also equipped with the aircon unit. Kitchen has all you need including dishwasher. It’s very easy to adapt to the house from inside and outside. Outside area is nicer and bigger compared to the pictures. Outside you get the parking place, swimming pool area, big table covered by the roof and the barbeque charcoal grill. During the stay we had no issues in this lovely house. Zack is very client minded person who was very supportive and helpful. Very good job by Zack and his team in maintaining this fantastic place. In the beautiful village of Atsipopoulo a few kilometres from Rethymno centre, you will meet the traditional guest house 'Villa Myrtia', which is a 150 sq metres villa with a private swimming pool and can host up to 8 persons.

The owners have respected the traditional architecture of Crete and have used indigenous materials such as stone and wood. However, they have constructed a very comfortable house, as it is the most important point of holidays.

Villa Myrtia is one of the two-twins villas that locate at the center of village Atsipopoulo, which can meet all your first needs. Supermarket, bakery, groceries and butchery shop, cofee shop, restaurants, ATM and pharmacy are all in walking distance (200 metres from the entrance of the villas). However, as you come in from the entrance of the villas, the whole atmosphere changes, as our villas locate inside the nature in a peaceful and ideal for relaxing enviroment. The center of Rethymno is also 5 kilometres away and 10 minutes drive.

Villa Myrtia is concstructed in maisonette style, measures 150 m2 and has a private swimming pool and balcony. Moreover,it can host 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Two of them have a double bed and the rest two have two single beds each.

On the ground floor you will find the living area with a fireplace, a full-equipped kitchen and a dining area. It also includes the first two bedrooms, one bathroom and a lavatory.

The top floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lavatory and a balcony with a view of the traditional village nearby and the nature. All the rooms are air-conditioned.

The bar was set high because we rated our stay at the other villa's already with very good to excellent. Villa Myrtia ended up as being our favorite one so far. The 5 star rating is so well-deserved. First of all it was to convenient and easy to communicate with the owner (George) before we arrived. The information and service provided was spot on and pleasant. The villa itself was clean, spacious and felt warm. The pool area was amazing and we spent many, many hours relaxing there. Also the location of the villa is very convenient. Lot's of coffee bars are only a short distance away, as well as the supermarket and some restaurants. (We can really recommend the pizzeria) Also Rethymno is just a 15 min drive. The villa premises was also base camp for a ginger cat and her 4 ginger kittens. Being the animal/cat lovers we are we took good care of them and we hope future guests will do the same. When we arrived there was additional shopping as well as the welcome pack which was on the house. We received fresh eggs and home cooked Greek food during our stay! Any queries were answered immediately, e.g bus timetables, recommendations of things to do. We were allowed to stay in the villa until our transfer pick up late in the evening. The list goes on! The villa itself had everything we needed. It is modern, clean and spacious. The pool is amazing and there were lots of games, inflatables (and pump) to use. - "The pictures of this villa looked amazing and the reality did not disappoint. The children loved the pool and the bbq area was great. There were also lots of separate spaces for groups to divide off. It was walkable to the beachfront for all but the littlest legs!" - "We stayed as a family celebrating two birthdays during our trip. They arranged all our transfers to and from the airport and also gave great recommendations for restaurants and handled all the reservations. The pool and the outdoor area was great, beautiful views and a great spot for watching the sunrise and sunset each day. There’s a supermarket at the bottom of the hill from the villa and we would spend the day around the pool and then walk down the hill to the many restaurants and bars in the evenings. The walk back to the villa was up a steep hill but fine for us and a good way to walk off dinner, however those less mobile would probably struggle, but there were plenty of taxis should you need them. We would not hesitate in returning, or booking another property which was managed through etouri in the future."

Villa Eleftherna is a superb rural hideaway, set in an area of magnificent natural beauty, located in the homonym picturesque village of Rethymno. Layout

The 190 m2, two-storey villa is stone-built in a traditional style and can accommodate 8 people in its 4 bedrooms and up to 10 if necessary. The Villa is decorated in a romantic, countryside style and classically furnished with wooden furniture and ceilings.

Ground floor

Entering the villa, the open plan area welcomes you in the cosy living room, featuring two comfortable sofas, a 55 Smart TV with Netflix (villas account), a bluetooth speaker and an open fireplace. Next to the sitting area, guests can find the fully equipped kitchen, offering an indoor dining table as well. Both the living room and the kitchen have direct access to a spacious veranda providing an additional dining area and mesmerising countryside views and to the pool / garden area after descending a few stairs.

Additionally, two of the propertys bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one of which offers a king-size bed (1.80 x 2.00), while the other one features two single beds (0.90 x 2.00) that can be joined as one king-size bed. Both bedrooms have doors that open up to the rear part of the villa and are equipped with patio furniture, enjoying garden views. Finally, a family bathroom with a bathtub is available between the two bedrooms.

First floor

Reaching the first floor, guests can find the two remaining bedrooms of the Villa, one of which offers a Queen-size bed (1.60 x 2.00) and a loft, while the other one features two single beds (0.90 x 2.00) that can be joined as one king-size bed (1.80 x 2.00).Both bedrooms provide access to the enormous veranda, enjoying panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding area! After descending a few steps from the ground floor veranda, guests can reach the beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the Villa. More specifically the exterior spaces provide several facilities, including:

- A private, 40 sq.m. swimming pool that also offers a removable volleyball net for endless moments of fun with your loved ones!! The pool can also be heated with an additional daily charge for the entire stay and it requires at least one weeks advance notice.

Plus they gave us many tips on local places. 6 night was waaay too short. If we get to return, it will be for a month, at least. I cannot recommend the villa or Melina and Stelios highly enough!!!"

Villa Elaida is located in Perama town which is within 5 minutes walking distance to everything that you might need like shops, bakery, grocery store, butcher’s, taverns, cafes, supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacies, gas stations and post office.
Location Overview.
Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, 10 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds & umbrellas. Water sports are also available. The harbour beach in front of the village is the port of the area, where the boats tie up, this beach is unorganised.

- "Stunning villa and photos don't do it justice in terms of scale & size. Everything is perfectly thought through for large groups and families. Owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend either a hire car or a good relationship with a transport company to get around as places of interest are a little further out. There is though a supermarket, bakeries and a great grill restaurant within walking distance. One other observation is that the pool surface is in places quite rough and therefore we had a couple of cuts amongst the group when playing water games etc but overall the whole group of 16 had a wonderful holiday at Villa Elaida. Outside Area
Externally, the villa is built in a classic, yet modern way, where stone and rustic feeling prevail! At the outside area there is an inner courtyard, with a lovely siting area and a traditional wood oven, making it ideal for al fresco dining! Also, there is an amazing garden with local herbs and flowers, right next to the wonderful 20 m2 and 1,40 m deep private pool, where our guests can relax, enjoy the fresh country air of Mesi and the soothing environment of the house! The pool is chemical free as it operates with active oxygen! The court yard and pool terrace create a rustic, romantic atmosphere, where you will love spending your morning and evenings!

Ground Floor
The yard offers access to the former stable of the house, which has been converted to an attic, featuring a working area, with a desk and an extra double bed on a special construction, on the upper level. This room provides total privacy and internet access, if you need to work on something!

Entering the property you will see the spacious living room with a great open fireplace, a rustically decorated, fully equipped kitchen, with a dining area, perfect for indoor dining with your family or friends and one bathroom.
