Our host was very warm and welcoming and we had some very interesting conversations. the beds were very comfortable , the kitchen was well equipped too. It was a peaceful location set in beautiful gardens off the main road but it was very easy to visit the next village of Palekastro for shopping and eating in the tavernas. Not far into Siteia if you want a busier place. The courtyard is a lovely place to sit to take in the atmosphere. We would recommend for couples and small groups. If you enjoy touring and exploring there are some lovely beaches within 20 to 50 minutes drives depending on your choices. If you like quiet and peaceful beaches try Itanos and Xerocampos. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, some typical and special/extra guidelines we follow when cleaning the spaces of the house between reservations are presented:
• Welcoming and cleaning staff use a 3D printing protective mask, gloves and a disposable waterproof robe.
• Air conditioning units, fabric (eg furniture upholstery, curtains, windows, etc) and hard surfaces are cleaned with a steam appliance. So, a steam cleaner is used to ensure maximum cleanliness and hygiene removing up the enveloped viruses, such as the coronavirus or influenza, and the common household bacteria from hard surfaces, such windows, etc.
• The outdoor hot tube is emptied and cleaned between rentals or every week (in case of long duration booking).
• Touch-free dispensers for hand sanitizer at the house main entrance and the garage.
• Good cleaning of the surfaces, which the guests often touch, such as knobs, toilet surfaces, etc.

This self-catering accommodation, also, features a full-kitchen including a fridge, an electric ceramic hotplates cuisine, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a toaster, a sandwich maker, French-press coffee maker, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine, tea-and-coffee amenities and all utensils necessary for dining in. The kitchen leads into a living room with a dining table and chairs for 8 people.
Moreover, on this floor next to the main house there is an independent fully-equipped guest room available with private facilities and amenities that guarantee a sense of autonomy and comfort (en suite bathroom, mini fridge, electric cuisine, etc).

SECOND FLOOR
Three modern, bright and air-conditioned bedrooms are recently fully-renovated to the highest standards and each is fitted with anatomic, anti-allergic latex mattresses and pillows, boasting en suite bathrooms in each one of them. The bathrooms are stocked with bathrobes, slippers, hair-dryers, towels and several luxury amenities. Specially, the master room is equipped with a hydro-massage column. All bedrooms have a balcony with mountain view and include flat-screen satellite TVs and free wireless internet access.

Villa Gaia is a traditional stone built house, recently renovated (2008), located in a quiet area in the village Skouloufia, 18km away from Rethymno. The villa is built in one floor layout. On the exterior of the house, there is a big yard with a 25sqm swimming pool with sunchairs and umbrellas around it , a stone made barbecue and a garden. There is also a large veranda with a dining table covered by a pergola. The house has a spectacular view to the sea and the surrounding area, which the visitor can enjoy from the yard.
Ideally suitable for 5 people, there are three bedrooms in the Villa, all with view to the sea – one with double bed and terrace, one with semi-double bed and terrace and one with twin beds. A baby cot is also provided to the guests.
The house has a spacious dining and living room, traditionally decorated, with a fireplace and a smart satellite TV with a Blueray player and an open plan fully equipped kitchen. There is also one bathroom with W/C, and hydro massage bath.
All of the rooms are fully air conditioned. The combination of the air conditioning, the fireplace and the sun heating makes the house suitable for all the seasons of the year.

- "Our flight landed a very late on Sunday in Chania airport. We got into the car and drove 1.5 hours to the house. Night driving in Greece is special experience but all vent very smooth, GPS was doing great job in leading us, no mistakes. All shops and restaurants were closed due to late timing but luckily for us the owner of the house (Zack) has prepared amazing food and drinks for us to make sure that no one is left hungry in his house. The house and the owner (Zack) gave very positive impression, actually the house looks much better compared to the pictures. There are 3 sleeping rooms which are all equipped with the air conditioners. Living room is big enough and its combined with the kitchen which is also equipped with the aircon unit. Kitchen has all you need including dishwasher. It’s very easy to adapt to the house from inside and outside. Outside area is nicer and bigger compared to the pictures. Outside you get the parking place, swimming pool area, big table covered by the roof and the barbeque charcoal grill. During the stay we had no issues in this lovely house. Zack is very client minded person who was very supportive and helpful. Very good job by Zack and his team in maintaining this fantastic place. Villa Myrtia is one of the two-twins villas that locate at the center of village Atsipopoulo, which can meet all your first needs. However, as you come in from the entrance of the villas, the whole atmosphere changes, as our villas locate inside the nature in a peaceful and ideal for relaxing enviroment. The center of Rethymno is also 5 kilometres away and 10 minutes drive.

Villa Myrtia is concstructed in maisonette style, measures 150 m2 and has a private swimming pool and balcony. Moreover,it can host 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Two of them have a double bed and the rest two have two single beds each.

On the ground floor you will find the living area with a fireplace, a full-equipped kitchen and a dining area. It also includes the first two bedrooms, one bathroom and a lavatory.

The top floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a lavatory and a balcony with a view of the traditional village nearby and the nature. All the rooms are air-conditioned.

When we arrived there was additional shopping as well as the welcome pack which was on the house. We received fresh eggs and home cooked Greek food during our stay! Plus they gave us many tips on local places. 6 night was waaay too short. If we get to return, it will be for a month, at least. I cannot recommend the villa or Melina and Stelios highly enough!!!"

Bright, stylish Villa with easy indoor and outdoor living, a lovely, vast garden a spa whirlpool (not heated) and a private swimming pool. The stunning Villa Elaida boasts awonderful position with grand views of the countryside, close to the sandy beach and small town Panormo (5min driving), classified as one of the most beautiful seaside locations in Rethymno and with many delightful villages to discover nearby. The Villa can accommodate up to 26 guests and is located within 200 metres from the centre of Perama town, where you will find big super markets, pharmacies, banks, taverns and all essentials for your daily needs!

Exterior
The property enjoys a superb location with wonderful views of the countryside. There are 2000 sq. m. of grounds. There are three terraces, a coveredone off the living areawith views ofthe pool area, ideal for outdoor meals, a second off the kitchen overlooking the orchards and a third on the other side of the kitchen in a garden shaded by trees. Within one hectare of land, the property has a spacious well-established garden with lawns and planted with olive trees. There is a beautiful, large, private pool (10X5 meters and 1,40 m deep), also featuring a children’s pool of 10 m2 and 0,60 m deep, as well as a non heated spa whirlpool. There are a lot of sun beds around the swimming pool where you can enjoy your sunbathing or sit by the pool late at the afternoon and relax while feeling the refreshing summer breeze on you. You can also find among the trees next to the pool area a children’s playground, a basketball and volleyball court, a ping pong table and a pool table while enjoying the beautiful views across the countryside.

Interior
The interior has been beautifully decorated and furnished with much attention to detail in a contemporary style well suited to its provincial setting. The rooms in the main house are distributed over two floors.

Ground Floor
When entering the house there is a large living room where you can enjoy some moments of relaxation while watching TV. There is also a dining area where you can enjoy your meal with your family and a fully equipped modern kitchen, as well as a family bathroom. Furthermore, there are three spacious bedrooms in the ground floor, each one covering 25 m2 and featuring its own ensuite bathroom and having a single sofa bed. Additionally, guests can access one more bedroom on the ground floor, which has its own private access and direct access to the garden, also equipped with its own en suite bathroom. Last but not least, it also provides a kitchenette and a living room where a sofa bed can open to a double bed, ready to welcome you for a comfortable stay!

Upper Floor
On the first floor, the remaining four, suite-type bedrooms of Villa Elaida are located, where guests can have their privacy and enjoy the comfort that they can offer. Each one has a separate bedroom with a double bed, its own small kitchenette, living room with a double sofa bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. One of the suites also has an additional single sofa bed. All bedrooms can easily accommodate four guests and have balcony access that offer wonderful views of the surrounding area, ideal for watching the sunset with your loved ones!

Villa Elaida is located in Perama town which is within 5 minutes walking distance to everything that you might need like shops, bakery, grocery store, butcher’s, taverns, cafes, supermarkets, ATM machines, pharmacies, gas stations and post office.
Location Overview.
Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, 10 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds & umbrellas. Water sports are also available. The harbour beach in front of the village is the port of the area, where the boats tie up, this beach is unorganised.
The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices.
Further, there is a good selection of cafes and excellent traditional tavernas, overlooking the harbour and the sea, which offer a warm welcome and a beautiful setting to enjoy some traditional Cretan food, fish as well as international dishes.

- "Stunning villa and photos don't do it justice in terms of scale & size. Everything is perfectly thought through for large groups and families. Owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would recommend either a hire car or a good relationship with a transport company to get around as places of interest are a little further out. There is though a supermarket, bakeries and a great grill restaurant within walking distance. One other observation is that the pool surface is in places quite rough and therefore we had a couple of cuts amongst the group when playing water games etc but overall the whole group of 16 had a wonderful holiday at Villa Elaida. Thank you!!!"

We welcome you to Crete and the picturesque village of Mesi, built on a lovely position, on a small hill of 300 meters above sea level! Dotira home, is a two-storey stone mansion of the 18th century, which has a surface area of 166 square meters and the surrounding plot one of 350 square meters.

Thanks to the careful restoration the house adheres to the traditional architecture and offers our visitors the experience of a special sojourn. Natural materials, such as wood, stone, were used, respecting the house’s history and its traditional elements were preserved and highlighted: the bathroom, the fire place and the water trough at the terrace.

Layout
Outside Area
Externally, the villa is built in a classic, yet modern way, where stone and rustic feeling prevail! At the outside area there is an inner courtyard, with a lovely siting area and a traditional wood oven, making it ideal for al fresco dining! Also, there is an amazing garden with local herbs and flowers, right next to the wonderful 20 m2 and 1,40 m deep private pool, where our guests can relax, enjoy the fresh country air of Mesi and the soothing environment of the house! The pool is chemical free as it operates with active oxygen! The court yard and pool terrace create a rustic, romantic atmosphere, where you will love spending your morning and evenings!

Ground Floor
The yard offers access to the former stable of the house, which has been converted to an attic, featuring a working area, with a desk and an extra double bed on a special construction, on the upper level. This room provides total privacy and internet access, if you need to work on something!

Entering the property you will see the spacious living room with a great open fireplace, a rustically decorated, fully equipped kitchen, with a dining area, perfect for indoor dining with your family or friends and one bathroom.

First Floor
Beautiful wooden stairs lead the guests to the upper floor, where guests can find three lovely bedrooms (two double and one twin) and a WC. Balconies from the first floor enjoy a stunning view of the whole area, olive groves and an open view on the Cretan Sea!

Mesi has two traditional coffee places and a tavern in the village square, just 100 meters from the villa. Shopping facilities for everyday's necessities can be found at the neighbouring village of Pigi within a distance of 8 minutes by car, providing tavernas and cafes, a mini market, bakery, a grocery shop, two butcher’s, a hairdressers as well as a pharmacy.
