I love the natural surroundings and the fact that a lot of thought was given to the grounds, with lots of trees growing around the property. The property could do a better job with the breakfast buffet offering, as the food is hit and miss. The surrounding area is gorgeous and so are the grounds, but they have a problem with sand flies called Jejenes in Honduras, which makes the beach a bit of a challenge. The best part of this hotel is probably the most mismanaged, the Restaurant by the beach: Imagined going to a beach resort where you cannot have neither breakfast or dinner in the beach restaurant! The beach restaurant, which is absolutely beautiful only serves lunch; what a missed opportunity. The property also has missed a great opportunity with bird-watchers (guilty as charged, here) since there is a trail with tons and tons of birds in the property, which is used for dumping natural garden clippings. The trail ends at a secluded beach that is both beautiful and dirty, again, a missed opportunity. The food department has some challenges as well, they could do better. Would I recommend this place to others or go back? Absolutely yes, to both. "

- "My stay at this property was wonderful! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful. While the rooms have a slightly outdated brown interior, they are still very cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. There was one issue regarding the premium liquor included in my package. The hotel’s website advertised brands such as Patrón and Don Julio, which influenced my decision to book. However, when I attempted to order these at the bar on my first day, I was informed that they were not included. After seeking clarification from the front desk the following day, I was told that premium liquor was indeed part of the package. Despite this, the bar staff continued to deny my request. It was only after speaking with the bar manager and showing the website’s advertisement that the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, the bar staff seemed reluctant to provide premium liquor for the remainder of my stay. Aside from this, my trip was excellent. The hotel’s location is perfect, with everything within walking distance. Additionally, they offer a convenient store where guests can use a credit card to receive cash back in either USD or Honduran currency. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel."
