- "Exc" - "Beautiful and peaceful place" - "The environment surrounding the villas is absolutely breathtaking, natural, peaceful and beautiful. It is like staying in the Garden of Eden. Customer service could improve a bit, as we had a hard time initially contacting the hotel and getting someone to answer us. It took several attempts and several days of waiting for replies, but once we were there the visit was totally worth it. There is no breakfast included or easy dining options nearby, so you have to bring your own food and cook, which is absolutely fine as long as you bring groceries along with you. The workers on-site were attentive when we asked questions face-to-face. It is a quiet sanctuary and I would highly recommend it."

Villa 1405 is located at the INFINITY BAY SPA & BEACH RESORT right on the world class West Bay Beach which is part of the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. Vivaro - West End - South House is a brand new three-bedroom OCEAN FRONT luxury home in the most peaceful and private area of West End. The ocean is literally feet away. The South House sleeps a maximum of 12 people. Built right on the iron shore, this West facing property affords amazing sunset views and sea breezes year-round. From the kitchen you will see every wave, the dive boats in front, fish jumping, and sometimes pods of dolphins. You truly feel as if you are floating on the ocean. While you might never want to leave the incredible deck, the bars, restaurants, activities and dive shops of West End are just a short walk away.

A highlight of the house is the large infinity edge pool jutting out over the iron shore. The pool is an amazing spot to cool off with magnificent sunsets as a backdrop. The size and position of this pool make it very unique in West End - private pools are rare - many are very small plunge pools. From your morning coffee on the deck to floating in the creative infinity pool at sunset, there will be days you will not want to leave.

The central vaulted great room is spacious with extremely large accordion doors that open onto a sprawling deck with stunning views. A large L-shaped couch and dining table that seats at least twelve adds to the functionality of this room. LED lights highlight the trellised ceiling while four ceiling fans help keep you cool. There is also large Smart TV (Netflix, Amazon) and a BOSE Sound touch speaker to enjoy your favorite music.

The sprawling outdoor deck space surrounds a large infinity pool with a tanning ledge and offers spectacular views of Roatan's fabulous reefs and spectacular sunsets. There is ample furniture, from lounge chairs and sofas to a large, shaded table for all your group to relax, sun, dine, play games, or read.

The chef's kitchen is large with white stone counter tops and dark Honduran wood cabinets. The LG gas cooktop is on a substantial island with seating for four. All appliances are top of the line LG. The double door refrigerator has filtered water and an ice maker. The kitchen has been meticulously outfitted with high quality knives, cookware, dishes, silverware, etc.

Vivaro - West End - South House is a three-bedroom house. There are 2 master suites - one upstairs and one downstairs. Each master suites faces the ocean, and each has a large deck. The master bedrooms feature Honduran wood floors, blackout curtains and luxury linens and towels. The large bathrooms with marble counter tops include rainfall shower heads and private toilet rooms.

The third bedroom is a very large, lofted room - perfect for children or a group room. This room has 24 feet high ceilings. It features a king bed and a custom triple bunk bed handmade of Honduran hardwood which feature one double on the bottom topped with 2 twin beds. The large loft and media area includes a twin trundle bed and lots of pillows to relax, nap, or watch movies. This room has a bathroom with a rainfall shower and a separate toilet. Kids or adults will love the comfort and space of this room.

Our goal is for Vivaro - West End to be as energy efficient as possible. Every option from LED lights to energy star rated appliances help to conserve daily usage. The power on Roatan is diesel generated and there are frequent, but brief outages. At Vivaro, because of a backup generator you will barely know when the power goes out. You will have lights, AC, water pressure, and be able to cook. Internet and TV also go down during power outages.

You will be charged for your group's electricity usage. With intelligent and careful use of AC, lights, and fans this charge should be minimal. This means AC only at night or when in the room, AC set at around 22 degrees, lights and fans off when not needed, etc. Energy conservation should always be a goal if you want to minimize your charges. The meter will be read upon check in and again at check out. Charges will be deducted from your security deposit.

Charges have ranged from $100 to $800 depending on your choices and the weather.

There is a $500 cleaning charge for all groups. This includes a light cleaning at least once during your stay and a deep cleaning after your checkout.

Water is scarce on Roatan and conservation is required. If you desire more frequent cleaning, please let us know so we can book a trusted cleaner.

We also include transportation from the airport to the house for stays of five nights or more for some bookings. (One car or van per group. We can help arrange additional cars if needed. The beds were very comfortable and my entire party all slept great. You get a wonderful breeze that blows through the main living areas when you open up all the doors. The open concept kitchen and living room also makes it fun for everyone to spend time together while preparing meals. It is a short 5-minute walk into West End to great restaurants, bars and beaches. The area feels very safe as well. The owners and property manager were highly communicative before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool is cleaned daily for you and housekeeping comes every 2-3 days. I really cannot say enough about how perfect this house and the customer service is. My one caution would be for anyone that has cat allergies. There is a neighborhood cat that has adopted the house that hangs out on the patio often. She is adorable and super sweet. We actually loved having her as an addition to the trip. But if someone in your group had a significant allergy, it might be a problem."

The nine acres of impeccable landscape was breathtaking with fruit trees, tropical trees and plants, the house was great with space too spare and views from every window, The panoramic view of the ocean was spectacular. Our group--aged 7 to 77--had so many activities available to everyone while at Casa Vista Verde that choosing what to do next was not easy. The beautiful swimming pool, the hot tub, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, beach, ocean, boating, and simply relaxing are just some of the activities we enjoyed. We are not divers but having a reef a few hundred yards from your door must be exciting. We also participated in the island activities and enjoyed meeting some very nice residents. The staff was wonderful. Ana scheduled all our excursions and dinners out. The dinners at the house were excellent as were the included breakfasts and lunches. We wanted to try the local restaurants as well. We followed Ana's suggestions and all were excellent but La Sirena was the group favorite. Jocelyn, the cook and housekeeper, was very hard working and a great cook. All our driving was done with Hector or Neptali using the car that comes with the house. This feature was a great convenience. It was a great vacation and I would recommend Casa Vista Verde for a safe, relaxing vacation. Or, if you prefer , a busy activity-filled vacation. It works either ways.
