- "Exc" - "Beautiful and peaceful place" - "The environment surrounding the villas is absolutely breathtaking, natural, peaceful and beautiful. It is like staying in the Garden of Eden. Customer service could improve a bit, as we had a hard time initially contacting the hotel and getting someone to answer us. It took several attempts and several days of waiting for replies, but once we were there the visit was totally worth it. There is no breakfast included or easy dining options nearby, so you have to bring your own food and cook, which is absolutely fine as long as you bring groceries along with you. The workers on-site were attentive when we asked questions face-to-face. It is a quiet sanctuary and I would highly recommend it."

Vivaro - West End - South House is a brand new three-bedroom OCEAN FRONT luxury home in the most peaceful and private area of West End. The ocean is literally feet away. The South House sleeps a maximum of 12 people. Built right on the iron shore, this West facing property affords amazing sunset views and sea breezes year-round. From the kitchen you will see every wave, the dive boats in front, fish jumping, and sometimes pods of dolphins. You truly feel as if you are floating on the ocean. While you might never want to leave the incredible deck, the bars, restaurants, activities and dive shops of West End are just a short walk away.

A highlight of the house is the large infinity edge pool jutting out over the iron shore. The pool is an amazing spot to cool off with magnificent sunsets as a backdrop. The size and position of this pool make it very unique in West End - private pools are rare - many are very small plunge pools. From your morning coffee on the deck to floating in the creative infinity pool at sunset, there will be days you will not want to leave.

The central vaulted great room is spacious with extremely large accordion doors that open onto a sprawling deck with stunning views. A large L-shaped couch and dining table that seats at least twelve adds to the functionality of this room. LED lights highlight the trellised ceiling while four ceiling fans help keep you cool. There is also large Smart TV (Netflix, Amazon) and a BOSE Sound touch speaker to enjoy your favorite music.

The sprawling outdoor deck space surrounds a large infinity pool with a tanning ledge and offers spectacular views of Roatan's fabulous reefs and spectacular sunsets. There is ample furniture, from lounge chairs and sofas to a large, shaded table for all your group to relax, sun, dine, play games, or read.

The chef's kitchen is large with white stone counter tops and dark Honduran wood cabinets. The LG gas cooktop is on a substantial island with seating for four. All appliances are top of the line LG. The double door refrigerator has filtered water and an ice maker. The kitchen has been meticulously outfitted with high quality knives, cookware, dishes, silverware, etc.

Vivaro - West End - South House is a three-bedroom house. There are 2 master suites - one upstairs and one downstairs. Each master suites faces the ocean, and each has a large deck. The master bedrooms feature Honduran wood floors, blackout curtains and luxury linens and towels. The large bathrooms with marble counter tops include rainfall shower heads and private toilet rooms.

The third bedroom is a very large, lofted room - perfect for children or a group room. This room has 24 feet high ceilings. It features a king bed and a custom triple bunk bed handmade of Honduran hardwood which feature one double on the bottom topped with 2 twin beds. The large loft and media area includes a twin trundle bed and lots of pillows to relax, nap, or watch movies. This room has a bathroom with a rainfall shower and a separate toilet. Kids or adults will love the comfort and space of this room.

Our goal is for Vivaro - West End to be as energy efficient as possible. Every option from LED lights to energy star rated appliances help to conserve daily usage. The power on Roatan is diesel generated and there are frequent, but brief outages. At Vivaro, because of a backup generator you will barely know when the power goes out. You will have lights, AC, water pressure, and be able to cook. Internet and TV also go down during power outages.

You will be charged for your group's electricity usage. With intelligent and careful use of AC, lights, and fans this charge should be minimal. This means AC only at night or when in the room, AC set at around 22 degrees, lights and fans off when not needed, etc. Energy conservation should always be a goal if you want to minimize your charges. The meter will be read upon check in and again at check out. Charges will be deducted from your security deposit.

Charges have ranged from $100 to $800 depending on your choices and the weather.

There is a $500 cleaning charge for all groups. This includes a light cleaning at least once during your stay and a deep cleaning after your checkout.

Water is scarce on Roatan and conservation is required. If you desire more frequent cleaning, please let us know so we can book a trusted cleaner.

We also include transportation from the airport to the house for stays of five nights or more for some bookings. (One car or van per group. We can help arrange additional cars if needed. The beds were very comfortable and my entire party all slept great. You get a wonderful breeze that blows through the main living areas when you open up all the doors. The open concept kitchen and living room also makes it fun for everyone to spend time together while preparing meals. It is a short 5-minute walk into West End to great restaurants, bars and beaches. The area feels very safe as well. The owners and property manager were highly communicative before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool is cleaned daily for you and housekeeping comes every 2-3 days. I really cannot say enough about how perfect this house and the customer service is. My one caution would be for anyone that has cat allergies. There is a neighborhood cat that has adopted the house that hangs out on the patio often. She is adorable and super sweet. We actually loved having her as an addition to the trip. But if someone in your group had a significant allergy, it might be a problem."

The beautiful swimming pool, the hot tub, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, beach, ocean, boating, and simply relaxing are just some of the activities we enjoyed. We are not divers but having a reef a few hundred yards from your door must be exciting. We also participated in the island activities and enjoyed meeting some very nice residents. The staff was wonderful. Ana scheduled all our excursions and dinners out. The dinners at the house were excellent as were the included breakfasts and lunches. We wanted to try the local restaurants as well. We followed Ana's suggestions and all were excellent but La Sirena was the group favorite. Jocelyn, the cook and housekeeper, was very hard working and a great cook. All our driving was done with Hector or Neptali using the car that comes with the house. This feature was a great convenience. It was a great vacation and I would recommend Casa Vista Verde for a safe, relaxing vacation. Or, if you prefer , a busy activity-filled vacation. It works either ways. Even though the villa is roomy and expansive, it can feel very intimate. There are many places for gatherings where your group can enjoy each other's company and there are spaces for quiet reflection. There is a large infinity pool, acres of gardens and paths, and a labyrinth made from the white quartz found on the property. If you love the ocean, you can swim and snorkel off La Diosa's private dock in Politilly Bight, or kayak and paddle board. The secret Politilly mangrove tunnels (across the Bight) are a trip back in time. If you are a diver, Subway Watersports provides Valet diving and snorkeling services and will pick you up off the dock to dive or snorkel at all the best places along the uncrowded North Shore reef. The diving here is spectacular – Subway’s divemasters are first rate and know the best spots on the reef. Deep sea and local fishing excursions are also available.

We have a caretaker on the property 24 hours per day. And while the villa is secluded and private, restaurants, shopping, and Roatan's many attractions are not far away. Our guests find the location perfect to explore Roatan's many attractions.
If you love to cook, the fully equipped gourmet kitchen has a large island of slate and Honduran rosewood, an eating bar, two dining areas, and spectacular views of the Caribbean. The screened porch by the pool has a lounging area, a bar, and yoga and exercise equipment.
It was very important to us to make La Diosa a 'green' home suitable for asthmatic and environmentally sensitive people. The home has tile and concrete construction, solar power and solar hot water, a saltwater and ultraviolet purification system in the infinity pool, and non-toxic, sophisticated energy-efficient construction. We NEVER use pesticides and we strictly forbid the use of fragranced detergents or fabric softener.

Vivaro - West End - North House is a three-bedroom fully airconditioned ocean front luxury home in the most peaceful and private area of West End. The house sleeps a maximum of 14 people. Built right on the iron shore, this West facing property affords amazing sunset views and sea breezes year-round. While you might never want to leave the incredible deck, the bars, restaurants, activities and dive shops of West End are just a short walk away.

A highlight of the house is the large infinity edge pool jutting out over the iron shore. The pool is an amazing spot to cool off with magnificent sunsets as a backdrop. The size and position of this pool make it very unique in West End. From your morning coffee on the deck to floating in the creative infinity pool at sunset, there will be days you will not want to leave.
The central vaulted great room is spacious with extremely large accordion doors that open onto a sprawling deck with stunning views. A large L-shaped couch and dining table that seats at least 12 adds to the functionality of this room. LED lights highlight the trellised ceiling while four ceiling fans help keep you cool.

The sprawling outdoor deck space surrounds a large infinity pool with a tanning ledge and offers spectacular views of Roatan's fabulous reefs and spectacular sunsets. There is ample furniture, from lounge chairs and sofas, to a large, shaded table for all your group to relax, sun, dine, play games, or read.

The chef's kitchen is large with white stone counter tops and dark Honduran wood cabinets. The LG gas cooktop is on a substantial island with seating for six. All appliances are top of the line LG. The double door refrigerator has filtered water and an ice maker. The kitchen has been meticulously outfitted with high quality knives, cookware, dishes, silverware, etc.

There are 2 master suites - one upstairs and one downstairs. Each master suites faces the ocean, and each has a large deck. The master bedrooms feature Honduran wood floors, blackout curtains and luxury linens and towels. The large bathrooms with marble counter tops include rainfall shower heads and private toilet rooms.

The third bedroom is a large room with a loft - perfect for a couple, children or as a family room. This room has 24 feet high ceilings. This room features a double triple bunk bed handmade of Honduran hardwood with two full beds on the bottom topped with 2 twin beds (4 twin beds total). The large loft and media area includes a twin trundle bed and lots of pillows to relax or nap. This room has a bathroom with a rainfall shower and a separate toilet. Kids or adults will love the comfort and space of this room.

Our goal is for Vivaro - West End to be as energy efficient as possible. Every option from LED lights to energy star rated appliances help to conserve daily usage. The power on Roatan is diesel generated and there are frequent, but brief outages. At Vivaro, because of a backup generator you will barely know when the power goes out. You will have lights, AC, water pressure, and be able to cook. Internet and TV also go down during power outages.

There is a charge for your energy usage. With intelligent and careful use of AC, lights, and fans this charge can be minimal. This means AC only at night or when in the room, AC set at around 24 degrees, lights and fans off when not needed, etc. Energy conservation should always be a goal if you want to minimize your charges. The meter will be read upon check in and again at check out. Charges range from $200 -$800 per week.

There is a $500 cleaning charge for all groups. This includes cleaning during your stay and a deep cleaning after your checkout. Sheets and towels will not be changed every day. Water is scarce and conservation required. We expect guests to keep the house and kitchen reasonably clean during their stay. If you desire more frequent cleaning, please let us know so we can book a trusted cleaner.

We include transportation from the airport to the house for stays of 5 night or longer when booked DIRECT. (One car or van per group. We can help arrange additional cars if needed for a charge. There is an additional fee for the driver to wait for you if you choose to shop at Eldon's.) We can help you arrange the return trip to the airport and quote you a price.

No daytime or overnight guests or parties allowed without prior arrangement. Only those listed in the required signed contract and paid for will be allowed at the property.

- "Bruce and his team are very attentive to your needs. From airport pickup, to bringing a fresh bag of ice they are there to make your stay great. My wife and I really enjoyed Brisa del Mar. Just know going in that it is an open air style villa, so you will have the occasional bug, or mosquito to deal with. While we were there it was pretty windy most nights so we did not really have to deal with too many mosquitos. Overall we settled in and had a great time. I never turned the TV on in the 7 days we were there. We had Rosa cook for us the first night, and after that we used the provided truck that comes with the villa and we ate out all the other nights, except one night we cooked our own meal. I would stay there again."

There are 2 master suites - one upstairs and one downstairs in each house. Each master suites faces the ocean and has a large deck. The master bedrooms feature Honduran wood floors, blackout curtains and luxury linens and towels. The large bathrooms with marble counter tops include rainfall shower heads and private toilet rooms. The fifth and sixth bedrooms are large rooms with a loft - perfect for a couple, children or as a family room. These rooms has 24 feet high ceilings. South House features a king bed and a custom triple bunk bed handmade of Honduran hardwood with a full bed on the bottom topped with 2 twin beds. North House features a triple double bunk bed: 2 doubles topped by 4 twins. The large loft area in each house includes a twin trundle bed and lots of pillows to relax or nap. Each room has a bathroom with a rainfall shower and a separate toilet. Kids or adults will love the comfort and spaciousness of this room.

Our goal is for Vivaro - Oceanfront to be as energy efficient as possible. Every option from LED lights to energy star rated appliances help to conserve daily usage. The power on Roatan is propane generated and there are frequent, but brief outages. At Vivaro, because of a backup generator you will barely know when the power goes out. You will have lights, AC, water pressure, and be able to cook. Internet and TV may go down during power outages.

There is a charge for your energy usage. With intelligent and careful use of AC, lights, and fans this charge can be minimal. This means AC only at night or when in the room, AC set at around 22 degrees, lights and fans off when not needed, etc. Energy conservation should always be a goal if you want to minimize your charges. The meter will be read upon check in and again at check out. Charges will be deducted from your security deposit. Charges have ranged from $200 to $1200 depending on the renter's personal choices.

There is a $500 cleaning charge for all groups. This includes cleaning during your stay and a deep cleaning after your checkout. Sheets and towels will not be changed every day. Some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world is here. Certified divers can jump in one of the dive shop boats, and beginners can sign-up for a class in the clear calm waters. With 50+ dive sites just minutes away, you will spend more time in the water instead of a long boat trip.

A rental car is not necessary. The Infinity Bay water taxi runs to West End (10 minutes) for shopping, restaurants, several small grocery stores, sightseeing and activities - and will return to pick you up whenever you would like. There are also other water taxis available on the beach ($5/person and free for children) and will take you many places. Many tour operators (zip lines, sloth sanctuary, etc.) also pickup right at the front lobby of the resort.

We use a local driver/guide who can meet you inside the airport, load your bags, stop at the grocery/liquor store for you to stock up, and unload everything right into your fridge for $70+tip total. Let us know if you would like this option which we highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this vacation. The photos show exactly what this rental looks like. It was very clean. Everything was in working order kitchen is not stocked, but I would not expect it to be in this setting. Full utensils, silverware, pots & pans. WiFi was . The restaurants have a party on Friday night they had a special Thanksgiving dinner buffet and a la carte. Lovely staff and friendly employees cats are all around. Great location highly recommended. There are both indoor and outdoor dining spaces - just in case the weather isn't cooperating - with seating for 8 at both tables.

This might be our favorite space in the whole house - the deck! Outside the double doors is the covered dining table and BBQ area, which leads to the outdoor living and lounging area, and the best part - the infinity edge pool overlooking West Bay Beach! You have the option to sip cocktails on the deck while watching the passing cruise ships to the south, or enjoy the pool and reef view to the north.

This private, unique property is minutes from (RTB) airport. Casita Verde is the ground level of a home located on the beach with a large, screened lanai to maximize the comfort of outdoor living. Wake up to breathtaking sea views from the master bedroom and enjoy a private entrance onto the lanai. This 2-bedroom casita sleeps 4 and has everything to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. WELCOME TO AÑORANZA where you STOP LONGING and START LIVING!!

From the moment our guests open the door to Añoranza and see the view of the reef, we want to create an experience they will be longing to return to. Our Customer Experience Manager, Dalia, lives on property and will be your personal concierge during your stay.

Añoranza was finished in 2019 and is a eco-luxury, private vacation home. Every room, and even shower, at Añoranza has a view of the reef and the amazing shades of blue water that surrounds it.

The Villa was designed with 2 levels to give our guest privacy as well as maximize the views.

We offer fiber optic internet so if you need to work and be on Zoom/Teams calls we have you covered.

If you’re looking for a true Caribbean island experience, Añoranza is the place for you. If you are looking for a place like Cabo or Tulum, we’re not the destination for you. Leave your designer bags, shoes, jewelry, and clothes at home. All you need to pack are swimsuits, cover-ups, rash guards and flip flops.

Also, if you are looking for nightlife, we recommend booking in West End or one of the destinations mentioned above. Don’t get us wrong, we love Cabo and Tulum but you don’t come to the east side of Roatán for that experience. There are no restaurants within walking distance but you can kayak to a few restaurants or drive 5 minutes to the villages of Oakridge or Punta Gorda to get authentic Caribbean island food. If you don’t want to leave Añoranza we offer full size kitchens for you to cook or hire our private chef to cook.

2 Bedroom | 3 Bath Villa: (4 Adults)

2nd FLOOR:
There are 2 suites on the top floor that over look the reef and the town of Punta Gorda in the distance to the West. The first suite offers guests a king bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, 43” flat screen SmartTV, walk-in closet, washer and dryer, safe, en suite bathroom with ceiling fan, two shower heads, two vanities and a soaking tub inside the shower where you can relax and enjoy the view. It also has sliding glass doors that open up to a large balcony, with a ceiling fan. It's the perfect, private, spot to enjoy your morning coffee or sunsets over the reef.

The second suite offers guests a king bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, 43” flat screen SmartTV, 2 large built-in closets, safe, en suite bathroom with ceiling fan, standing shower, and two vanities. It also has sliding glass doors that opens up to a private balcony.

1st FLOOR:
The 1st floor is where you'll more than likely spend most of your time. When you open the main door to the villa, you will be greeted by the view of the reef and the infinity pool. As you step into Añoranza you will be in the outdoor living room. Then, on your right you step into the open concept, air-conditioned, living room and kitchen along with another full bath. High Speed Wi-Fi throughout.

The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a 55" flat screen SmartTV with access to Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video as well as a DVD player with DVDs. Unfortunately, Hulu does not work in Honduras. There’s also a Bluetooth receiver that you can connect your phone to and play your music on the 2 speakers inside and 4 speakers outside. Make sure you have your own music downloaded or Spotify because Pandora does not work in Honduras. The kitchen offers a full size fridge, dishwasher, and gas stove.

There is a private well on property as well as a whole house UV filter and reverse osmosis system at the sink for cooking and drinking water. The well water is tested annually and you can drink the water from any faucet in the house. Also, there is a dining table that seats 8. To the right of the kitchen is the bar area with a full size purified ice-maker plus a wine and beer fridge.

The entire ocean view wall of the living room is sliding glass doors that open completely to take in the Caribbean views. The infinity pool is just steps away creating an indoor/outdoor experience. There’s a large propane gas grill in the outdoor kitchen to cook your fresh caught fish or lobster.

Casita 1: (2 Adults)

The Casita is located next to the Villa and offers guests an open concept king size bed, living room, and full kitchen area. The kitchen has a gas range, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, blender and all cooking appliances and utensils you should need. If you decide you do not want to cook, we can set up our personal chef, Dalia, for one special meal or your entire stay.

We also have our own well on property along with a UV filter for the entire Casita and a reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink so you can drink the water and brush your teeth with it.

The living room has a custom built couch that is also a daybed so you can curl up and watch TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ or a movie on our smart TV. Unfortunately, Hulu is not available in Honduras unless accessed through Disney+. There is also a Sonos speaker that you can connect your phone to and play music. Make sure you have music downloaded or a Spotify account because Pandora is not available in Honduras.

Just off the king bedroom area is the bathroom with double vanity and a shower with two shower heads. You'll love the view from the shower. There is also a washer and dryer in the closet for guests to use but, we do not provide laundry detergent. Most of our guests just bring a few pods or buy some at the grocery store, Eldon's, on the way to Añoranza.

A few steps from the bed are sliding doors that open to an oversized patio with 2 chairs, a table, and a hammock. But the best part is the plunge pool so you can decide if you will be watching sunsets from the pool, the hammock or a chair.

The stairway to the water is shared with the guests staying at the Casita 2 and 3 (if booked) and navigates down a cliff and through the trees. There are 4 landings with benches on the way down where you can stop and take in the view or a sunset. Once you are at the water you will see our 200 ft dock with separate seating areas is also shared with the Casita (if booked). It’s a great place to take in a sunset or tie off one of our floats and just relax on the water. You can take one of our 4 complimentary, 2 person, kayaks to explore the reef or mangroves. We also have 2 stand up paddle boards that can be rented for $10 a day.

Añoranza's goal is to be as energy efficient as possible. We ask our guests to help by using the AC only when in the room and not when any doors are open. We appreciate lights and fans off when not needed. You will notice that we are one of the few properties, on Roatan, that does not charge guests extra for electricity used.

As mentioned, the water comes from our well and is scare on the island so conservation is always encouraged. Sheets and towels will not be changed everyday. If you stay longer than 7 days, the Villa will be cleaned and all linens and towels every 7 days by our cleaning staff. Thank you in advance for helping us conserve the Earth’s vital resources!

Finally, there are a lot of steps on property so Añoranza is not ideal for anyone who cannot manage a lot of step

anything from excursions, dinners reservations, car rentals, or even a babysitter. Dalia is also our private chef so you can book her for your entire stay or a special meal. Matt or Dalia can meet you at the airport too if you would like for an additional fee. Dalia lives on property

Welcome to our beautiful, recently remodelled 2 bed/2 bath condo! Tastefully decorated with an island feel to enhance your vacation experience! Conveniently located steps away from the community pool (where you will have access), and only a 3 minute walk to the ocean, it is the perfect vacation rental for couples or small groups with friends or family. Fully furnished and equipped with all the standard amenities you could ask for, and a little more!

There is an open concept living room with 32" tv with streaming options (Roku, Netflix, YouTube and more), dining area and beautiful kitchen with all brand new stainless steel appliances (including a wine fridge!) and a new energy efficient a/c unit in the kitchen.

Additional extras that you are sure to appreciate include a reverse osmosis water filtration system so you can drink the water from the kitchen tap and refrigerator (with water/ice maker).

The large balcony is equipped with a tiki bar and plenty of seating with custom-made, comfortable patio sectional furniture. As well as an additional full-size fridge to keep all your favourite drinks nice and cool! A fantastic space for relaxing and entertaining! There is a gas bbq on the lower carport for your grilling pleasure.

Electricity costs are high on the island. While it is included in your rate, we kindly ask you to be mindful and conserve energy. Please turn off lights, fans, and air conditioning units when you're not in the condo. For optimal comfort and efficiency, set the ACs to a temperature between 74-76°F—there's no need to set them to the lowest setting for a cool and comfortable room.

Everything was above our expectations. Short 5 minute walk to the west end strip, unbelievably safe neighborhood, amazing neighbors, amazing amenities, everything was great! The two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the duplex with two bathrooms, which gave us the opportunity to have privacy, but also still be together under one roof. We loved that each bedroom had a private balcony. The shared balcony off the front was incredible to have in the mornings and at night while playing cards. There are so many extras that aren’t listed on here such as games available for your use. The property manager was kind and willing to help. I wasn’t the best at checking my emails and she was always very patient with me. Huge thank you to the property manager and property owners for helping make our first visit to Roatan amazing. 10/10, book! You won’t regret it."

Beautiful infinity edge pool with tanning ledge! The villa was constructed among and around the existing trees on the property with the intent to preserve true beauty and nature. With expansive deck spaces furnished with hammocks, lounge chairs or a hanging bed to take in the views of the beautiful canopy that surrounds the home. The main level features an open, airy kitchen/dining/living space with soaring ceilings and windows, really giving it that ‘bringing the outside in’ feel and a queen bedroom with deck access, full-size bathroom and laundry room. Electricity is private on the island and quite expensive. We kindly ask that you be mindful of electricity usage during your stay by turning off lights, fans and AC while not needed or when you head out for the day.

We have a Paddleboard stored underneath the Clearwater Adventures building at the beach for your use. Paddle and carry strap are at the house with the beach items.

The yard is fully fenced should you bring along your furry friends.

Añoranza's 2 bedroom oceanfront Villa option, offers guests 2 bedrooms with 2 king beds and en suite bathrooms. Plus, a 3rd full bath off the open concept living room and kitchen area. When guests book the 2 bedroom option, the Lower Level Suite, 3rd bedroom, is not available but we do not rent that suite to other guests during your stay. If you need more room than 2 bedrooms guests can rent our 3 bedroom villa option, Casita 1, Casita 2, and/or Casita 3 for a total of 6 rooms.

If you’re looking for a true Caribbean island experience, Añoranza is the place for you. If you are looking for a place like Cabo or Tulum, we’re not the destination for you. Leave your designer bags, shoes, jewelry, and clothes at home. All you need to pack are swimsuits, cover-ups, rash guards and flip flops.
Also, if you are looking for nightlife, we recommend booking in West End or one of the destinations mentioned above. Don’t get us wrong, we love Cabo and Tulum but we don’t come to the east side of Roatán for that experience. There are no restaurants within walking distance but you can kayak to a few restaurants or drive 5 minutes to the villages of Oakridge or Punta Gorda to get authentic Caribbean island food. If you don’t want to leave Añoranza we offer full size kitchens for you to cook or hire our private chef to cook.
TOP FLOOR: There are 2 suites on the top floor that over look the reef and the town of Punta Gorda, to the West. The first suite offers guests a king bed, air-conditioning, Smart TV, ceiling fan, walk-in closet, washer and dryer, safe, en suite bathroom with ceiling fan, two shower heads, two vanities and a soaking tub inside the shower where you can relax and enjoy the view. It also has sliding glass doors that open up to a large balcony, with a ceiling fan. It's a perfect, private, spot to enjoy your morning coffee or sunsets over the reef. The second suite, on the top floor, offers guests a king bed, air-conditioning, Smart TV, ceiling fan, 2 large built-in closets, safe, en suite bathroom with ceiling fan, standing shower with view of the reef, and two vanities. It also has sliding glass doors that opens up to a private balcony.
MIDDLE FLOOR: The middle floor is where you'll more than likely spend most of your time. When you open the main door to the villa, you will be greeted by the view of the reef and the infinity pool. As you step into Añoranza you will be in the outdoor living room. Then, on your right you step into the open concept, air-conditioned, living room and kitchen along with another full bath. High speed fiber optic Wi-Fi throughout. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a SmartTV with access to cable channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ (Hulu can be accessed via Disney+) as well as a DVD player with DVDs. There’s also a Bluetooth receiver that you can connect your phone to and play your music on the 2 speakers inside and 4 speakers outside. The kitchen offers all Bosch appliances including a fridge, dishwasher, and gas stove. If you decide you do not want to cook, we can set up our personal chef, Dalia, for one special meal or your entire stay. There is a reverse osmosis system at the sink for cooking and drinking water. The whole house has a UV water filter so you can drink the water from any faucet in the house. Also, there is a dining table that seats 8. To the right of the kitchen is the bar area with a full size purified icemaker plus a wine and beer fridge. The entire ocean view wall of the living room is sliding glass doors that open completely to take in the Caribbean views. The infinity pool is just steps away creating an indoor/outdoor experience. There’s a large propane gas grill in the outdoor kitchen to cook your fresh caught fish or lobster.
The stairway to the water is shared with the guests staying at Casita 1, Casita 2, and/or Casita 3 (if booked) and navigates down a cliff and through the trees. There are 4 landings with benches on the way down where you can stop and take in the view or a sunset.
Once you are at the water you will see how clear the water is and can take in the sun or sunset on our dock. Also, you can take one of our 4 complimentary, 2 person, kayaks to explore the reef, mangroves or head over to Punta Gorda to grab a drink or food. We have 2 stand up paddle boards that can be rented for $10 a day each.
Matt and Dalia, your host and concierge before and during your stay can help book anything from excursions, dinners reservations, car rentals, or even a babysitter. - "The property is just as beautiful as the pictures! We stayed for 3 nights before heading to the west side of the island and it was hard to leave. We loved taking the kayaks out and relaxing at the house with those gorgeous views. Robert was warm and welcoming and arranged everything we needed (car rental, boat excursion, massage and on site yoga) He was even able to find us prescription medicine in the night when we had a bit of a medical emergency. Dalia’s cooking and company were definitely a highlight. We would absolutely return!"

The location is amazing with the Iron Shore on one side and West Bay on the other offering great views of the sunset and sunrise on each horizon. If you are lucky enough (as I was) you can even catch wild Scarlet Macaws playing in the trees and flying up the coastline of West Bay...but you got to be up early for that! The property is equipped with everything you could need in your home away from home. The beds were comfortable and the rental was very clean. If you want to cook, you have everything you need in a Kitchen. During our stay, we hired a local Chef Service (Roatan Chef Service) to come and cook our meals for the nights we did not eat out. Jenny was amazing! Her food was fantastic and she does everything from start to finish including the dishes. Getaway from the hustle and bustle of that "every port in the Caribbean" feeling! El Palacio Rosa is our "micro-resort" in middle of Roatan (with new roads!) - FAR away from cruise and tourist congestion. Island life is steps outside your back door. Three reefs, a shipwreck, entrance to the mangrove tunnels and an Infinity pool stretching out over a quiet, clean and tranquil bay. A small private sandy beach with no one walking across it between you and your view, and a beautiful 900 SF over-bay covered patio and group kitchen.

FAMILIES:
Experience a vacation like none other - spend day after day out exploring the ecology and life above and below water in the bay, reefs and mangroves. A skiff, kayaks and paddle board are available for our guests (and a larger boat for outside the bay, requires our captain). Unbelievable snorkeling, swimming and paddle boarding right from the dock... where tour companies pick you up right from the backyard.

INCREDIBLE DIVING: Some of the best scuba spots are less than a few minutes from the dock. Patti's Place. Calvin's Crack. Carib Wall. Media Luna. And a few of our own secret spots. PRIVATE dive shop, complete with tanks (air is included for experienced divers), lockers, showers, and gear wash for our guests.

If you are a big-boy diver (feel comfortable being without/ your own divemaster) we can provide access to almost 30 different park sites in under 15 minutes. If your the explorer type and want an adventure scuba experience... let us know.

Our favorite dive sites are ones local shops rarely hit (like seamounts, or at the far-east end of Roatan) - and for hardcore spearfishing, we can arrange hunting monsters off the shelf off of the Honduran mainland where schools of large pelagics cruise.

If you're less experienced and would like a week-long diving experience with local dive masters (or to get certified), we partner with Tortuga Divers (about a mile away through the Mangrove tunnels) who are PADI certified instructors - they will pick you up at our dock and teach you to dive in our own "back yard".

WORLD CLASS FISHING:
Roatan has world class fishing both on and off the reef. Past the shelf are Wahoo, Tuna, Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper and Mahi (and the occasional sailfish).

Inshore consists of a variety of Snappers, Bonefish, Permit, and some very impressive Tarpon.

We work with local guides who literally grew up fishing Roatan and meet you right at the dock - if you'd like a hardcore day/week of fishing (troll, drop/jig, or fly) let us know and we can pre-arrange some of the best fishing experiences ever that you, your family, and/or friends will remember for a lifetime.

TOURS AND TRANSPORTATION: We are partnered with local island tour companies that will come and pick you up/drop-off right from the property to tropical gardens, animal sanctuaries with sloths/toucans/parrots/monkeys, ziplines, grocery shopping or a day-trip to the touristy west-end. We can also arrange you a rental car with a local reputable company.

FOOD: Get fresh baked Pizza delivered directly to the dock! Just a few minutes to excellent restaurants nearby. Lots of expat vibes. For large groups we can arrange to "open" the kitchen at LaRosa (the palapa at the dock) for our guests and provide a meal plan for your group.
