- "I was there for Xmas and New year, long stay. The rooms are very spacious and housekeeping is 10 out of 10 👍. The food...simply superb. Very balanced offering. From traditional Arab food, to all very well known European dishes. It is simply impossible not to find something for every taste and diet. Services provided from all the staff at the hotel are excellent. The only thing that needs to be looked (in my opinion) is the fact that everyone is constantly on the mobiles. They carry a plate in one hand and mobile phone in the other. Come on guys, leave the phone in your pocket when you serve your customers. Gym: Very clean and very well equipped WIFI: This deserves special mentioning... EXCELLENT. The cover in the hotel and the surrounding grounds is superb. Even on the beach you have WIFI cover. We loved the aqua park, wave pool and crazy river they were great fun and the fair is a fantastic bonus. Dasha always checked in with us regularly assuring we was having the best holiday and offered great advice about the best services available around the hotel, she was really friendly and super helpful and we enjoyed seeing her around the hotel she is definitely a credit to serenity. The service is up there with the best I have received and I have been to a lot of hotels in Egypt. There are to many staff to name for their great service as every member of staff was brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room needed updating but it was kept spotless, the room was really spacious and the beds really comfortable and the bathroom was big with a lovely big shower cubical which is great when you have young children. We had fresh towels and toiletries daily and the cleaner even made a few towel displays for us. I would definitely recommend serenity fun city. "

The only downsides to this hotel is that smoking is allowed in all outside areas so I think that around the pool and outside dining areas would benefit from smoking and non smoking areas as as non-smokers we found we couldn’t get away. The other thing is the vast amount of plastic water bottles used. It must be thousands a day! There must be a better way to keep everyone hydrated. Other than these little niggles, it is an excellent hotel and I would definitely return. "

But doesn't state you'll need to reserve 4 restaurants atleast 24-48hrs before.You cannot eat there without booking. There is only 1 main restaurant that has it's operating time. Breaky 7-10am, lunch 1-3pm dinner 7-9.30. There are not any snack places to eat if you have young children and want something for the them to have away from the designated times. Which is a downside to this resort as kids get hungry and need snacks throughout the day or your timings are just different. Ice cream is served daily 3-4pm only. Which is another downside for a 5star hotel. The are costs are extortionate for spa, and gym if you like to use it. You'll have haggle the prices not ideal for the guest. The hotel cleaning is utterly poorly. Our cleaner called Ahmed never changed our bedding, never refilled soaps or change towels. I used to tell him daily but he always ignored me. The reception didn't take the complaint on board either. Then resort itself is beautiful but doesn't hold 5star treatment. Ive been to better resorts and worth the money we pay. This resort is expensive but low standards. The location is futhur out. excursions prices will always be higher with additional costs. Its 45 mins away from airport. 20 mins away from Senzo mall and 1 hr away from Old dowtown hurghada. I've attached photos of the worn out bedding that they still use. Safety issue lifeguards are limited at pools and beachs."

Everything was perfectly organized and the atmosphere was truly great. At the reception, we were warmly welcomed by Mohamed Eid and his manager – both super friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were spotless, thanks to Ali Sayed, who did an excellent job keeping everything clean and fresh every day – nothing to complain about at all. The animation team was also very friendly and created a fun, relaxed vibe throughout the resort. The only downside was that we were often approached while relaxing on our sunbeds with offers for excursions, massages, etc. Luckily, we solved that easily by using a red flag, which worked perfectly for some peace and quiet. Big compliments as well to the young man who brought us ice-cold drinks every day at our sunbeds – not an easy job when it’s over 40°C outside. Really impressive and much appreciated! The food was absolutely delicious and varied – something for everyone. In short: a wonderful vacation, made special by the amazing staff. We will definitely come back!"
