This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise. - "The hotel is on the beach and other dining options are available. The hotel restaurant is reasonably priced and also on the beach with good food. The beach allows you to walk out 1/2 kilometre and still be chest deep and the water is warm. As a nice touch an independent 7-11 style store is on the property providing inexpensive beers, spirits, snacks, and lots more. A nice deck overlooks a pond which is stocked with fish and the bed is comfortable. The buffet breakfast is nice and has both an eggs and noodle station and lots of variety. The only negative is that the staff understanding of English is a bit weak causing our transport to drop us off at the wrong airport requiring a 800 bth cab ride. "

- "We just spent 6 fantastic days at Dewa in room 131. It was our second time as we were there for 12 days last year with my children and grandchild. This property even improved from last year. I think the staff are excellent. Thai hospitality at its finest. No problem was too big for them, they just wanted to please you, right down to the cleaners.
