- "Alte Tradition is a beautiful property in the middle of Alte village. The rooms are beautifully designed each with its own special touch of theme through the medium of soft furnishings. Impeccably clean, everything really modern whilst retaining cultural identity. We were the only guests on the night we stayed. It felt very exclusive and were made to feel really at home. The hot tub on the roof really was the highlight, nice and warm and ready to go. We used it under the stars for a couple of hours surrounded by peace and fresh mountain air. In the morning a lovely breakfast was served in buffet style. Lovely spread and quality local produce. Staff were friendly and very efficient. If we ever head back that way we will definitely stay again. Alte village is not exactly set up for tourists staying overnight, it’s more for day trippers. We enjoyed interacting with the locals as much as we could. The hotel has other properties which we would be keen to try out in the future."

- "We had a four night stay here in April 2024. Our stay was perfect! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are fabulous too, lovely white bedding (I hate anything other than that), toiletries in the bathroom, a coffee maker, filtered water refilled daily and more. The room furnishings were lovely too. Kristin, Tobias and their gorgeous dog Tibo were amazing. They served a delicious healthy breakfast daily with some fabulous homemade jams, granola and bread, all made by Kristin. They offered a choice of cooked eggs, omelettes, fried or scrambled as well as croissants, cold meats, cheeses etc etc. Their orange juice was fresh from their own orange trees and delicious. Tobias was always around to spot an empty coffee cup and to refill it, great service. The patio to each room has table and chairs with cushions available in the room. To one side of the property is a delightful swimming pool. The owners played quiet, relaxing music near the pool and offered refreshments from a large fridge with a price list and an honesty box payment. This was a really lovely touch. We didn’t get a lot of time for drinks but would certainly use on a return visit. We thought it was a great idea. The owners had a lovely cleaning lady working for them. She was very friendly and she left our room spotlessly clean each day. We honestly could not fault this place. Kristin and Tobias have made everything just perfect.
