"Quinta do Tempo" - Turismo Rural welcomes you in Monchique. Monchique Thermal Baths are 2.5 km away, and the picturesque village of Monchique is 2 km away. Parking is free is available. There are 3 self-catering studios with flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. They are equipped with a kitchenette, microwave, electric hob, toaster, fridge and filter coffee machine. The interior decor is simple, nice, oversized bed for a good rest.
The Quinta includes barbecue facilities, a garden and a sun terrace. With the possibility of seeing in the distance part of the Algarve coast, Portimão to Lagos, which are about 23km. Guests can get involved in various Nature Activities such as hiking in the Algarve, which, due to its altitude and location, gives it a unique micro climate, crystal clear water and excellent air quality.
In the region you can enjoy the generous regional cuisine and sweets, as well as the typical handicrafts. In this farm of subsistence agriculture, there are several species of fruit trees like the cherry tree, apple tree, plum tree, goddess among others, that in its time can prove. Quinta do Tempo has its stone houses, centenaries completely restored, maintaining the typical moth of the region and the original facades.

- "My husband and I stayed at this property for four nights in late July. The property is very nicely equipped with hotpot and a drip coffee machine! I was so happy to see one...not many on our travels. There is a small kitchenette...counter space is limited but it works. A nice table and chairs inside and one right outside with an umbrella. Bathroom and shower are great. Bed (twins together as requested) was very comfortable. There is a nice sitting area in the loft but my husband didn't even go up because the slanted ceiling was too low for him. But we really didn't need to because the outside area is so pleasant. We spent one afternoon just sitting on the lounge chairs reading and enjoying the peace and quiet. There is parking for a car or two with fairly easy access to the property. The drive to the coast was about 30 minutes and because we aren't "beach people" we just stopped to eat and check out a couple of the smaller towns and the seaside cliffs. We did go into Monchique (about a 5-10 minute drive) several times and ate out at a nice restaurant one evening. A grocery is easy to get to (and park) and we ate at the property several times. Both Laura and Jorge are extremely nice and helpful people. I had a slight medical issue and when I contacted Laura she helped me find a place in town that could help. They responded to all our needs and questions very easily. We highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here if we visit this area again in the future."

Quinta dos Cochichos was a local farm, built back in 1917. The houses have been totally renovated, some being used as various accommodation units: 2 apartments , 2 duplexes and a studio, spread into 3 different and separated houses. There are other smaller buildings inside the property, these being used as support to the activity.

The farm is set in about 4 acres, surround by almond, fig, carob and olive trees. We have also developed other fruit trees including some tropical.

All units are different and named after a typical fruit from the Algarve: Carob House, Fig House, Loquat House, Olive House and Almond House.

Monte da Caldeirinha is located in the Eastern Algarve, in the municipality of Tavira, more specifically in Belmonte, between the sea and the mountains, in a quiet and very pleasant area. It is 12 km from Tavira, 4.2 km from Moncarapacho, 6.9 km from Fuseta and 31.5 km from Faro airport.

There are excellent beaches nearby, such as: Barril, Ilha da Fuseta, Terra Estreita and Ilha de Tavira.

Our enchanting, small scale rural estate in the Algarve is an ”all season” haven.

The inspiring estate is located in the South-West Algarve, the region that is blessed with the most sun hours of Europe, 5km from the lively harbour town of Lagos en 1,5km from the white, sandy beach of Meia Praia bay. As the accommodation is built on a hilltop, there are magnificent views of the rural country with its old almond, fig and olive trees.
The authentic and personal character of the place creates an open and relaxed atmosphere. Guests can freely explore the grounds, pick fruit, herbs and vegetables, collect eggs, dream away in a hammock or take a dive in the large swimming pool.
The Quinta has two guesthouses, a loft apartment and two rooms.
The first guesthouse, ´A Granja´ is a very cosy guesthouse with one bedroom with double bed, a spacious bathroom with traditional Portuguese tiles, bathtub and shower and a living room with fireplace and kitchen area. The house is surrounded by terraces, one under the ancestral ´Alfarrobeira´(carob tree) with entrance to the pool, one with view of the inner garden and the Monchique Mountains and a sun terrace. A Granja boasts a beautiful outdoor kitchen with barbecue.

A Vivenda is a beautiful guesthouse, built separately from the main house. It is built in traditional style with modern day comfort. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two individual beds. The lounge is tastefully decorated and has a huge antique fireplace. There is a separate kitchen with an Italian cooker and dishwasher and the traditionally tiled bathroom has a shower and two basins set in natural stone. From the private veranda and terrace you have restful views of the surrounding countryside.

The Loft Apartment, with extra bedroom, has a vintage style living kitchen and a spacious bathroom. At the heart of the Loft Apartment you´ll find a breath-taking, bright 50m2 lounge with a comfortable sleeping area. The cosy bedroom with wooden floor and ceiling sleeps 3. Both the lounge and bedroom have beautiful views of the surrounding country side and they are independently connected to a landing that leads to the kitchen and the bathroom. French doors in the kitchen give onto a terrace and to the inner garden with vegetable and herb gardens, terraces, fruit trees and a traditional bread oven that is occasionally lit for a pizza night.
The Chapel Suite is a stunning room with a vaulted ceiling, a kitchenette and romantic bathroom in Moorish style with bath and shower. Huge doors open onto a private terrace and the inner garden. Price of the Suite is 575 euro per week.
The Chapel Room is our smallest unit. It is a lovely room with a kitchenette and spacious bathroom in Moorish style. The entrance door gives onto a gallery that leads to the inner garden.
The Loft Appartment and the two rooms together are very suitable for larger parties.

All units at the Quinta are connected by a lush inner garden with old olive trees, stone paths and steps, herb and vegetable patches and fruit trees. In the centre of the garden you´ll find a stone paved circle with a traditional bread oven and a barbecue. Occasionally we will light the oven and arrange a pizza gathering with guests and friends.

Recently renovated, Casa da Eira is a typical Algarve terrace house set in the countryside but close to everything. Located near the National Park of Ria Formosa, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the city of Faro, 10min drive from the beach and the airport. It's countryside right by the city, making rural life very convenient and accessible. Ideal for couples or families with plenty of outside area, a vegetable garden and fruit trees you can help yourself to.

The space
Newly renovated self-contained two double bedroom house with one bathroom and a large terrace to enjoy the sunshine in privacy. It also has a dedicated seating area in front of the house. It’s fully furnished and includes all amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped and high-speed WiFi internet access is available.

The accommodation sleeps ideally 4 people, in two bedrooms with one double bed each, but it can go up to 5 guests with the sofa bed in the living room. This makes it ideal for family vacations or holidays with friends. The standard night rate is for 1-2 people taking up 1 bedroom, any extra person will be 20€/night.

We take cleaning very seriously and do our best to ensure the cottage is spotless upon check in. We will give you a change of bed linen & towels weekly, by default. In order to respect your privacy, we will leave it in your very own dedicated laundry room, for you to change. If you would like anymore please let us know. Once you check in, there is no weekly cleaning service included, but it can be booked upon request for a 50€ fee.

FARO´S NEW MUNICIPAL TOURIST TAX
As of 1st March 2020, a new Municipal Tourist Tax has been announced by Faro Council, which we will have to charge as an extra whilst the system doesn't do it automatically. The tourist tax is applicable to all guests, regardless of nationality or residence, aged 13y and over, per person, per night up to a max of 7 nights per stay. The space
The covered veranda leads into the cosy sitting room with terracotta tiled floors and comfortable furniture. The well equipped kitchen has the original stone work surface and oak table with seating for 6. The original 18th Century manger stalls have been cleverly restored to form additional seating. The two bedrooms are nicely furnished with the crisp white bedding contrasting with the Portuguese wooden furniture. The master bedroom with king size bed leads onto the terrace where you feel that you have the whole of this glorious area to yourself. To the front of the house is a "hidden" Mediterranean garden among the olive groves - the only sound is that of bird life.
