Lovely, bright bedroom for a female in a cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom low-rise apartment with a balcony in Sakanat El Maadi, Cairo. Surrounded by trees, Maadi is often called the ‘lungs of Cairo’ for its greenery.

The apartment is a 7-minute walk from Sakanat El Maadi metro station, with a 30-minute ride to downtown. Road 9 (2 minutes walk) and Degla Maadi (15 minutes walk) offer a range of international restaurants, cafés, and shops. You’ll also find a souq, and corner and grocery stores nearby.

The space
Guests have a private bedroom and full use of the shared living spaces - living room, kitchen, dining, bathroom, laundry and balcony. Relax in the living room with a flat-screen TV, books, and games. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, air fryer, microwave, blender, and more—please use and enjoy, while keeping it clean. Other things to note
Please note:

A new bridge is being constructed near my building. There is some noise in the day, but wallahi I consider it minimal. Previous guests (off of Airbnb) have not had an issue with the level of noise. There is usually no construction at night, but it has happened 2 times in the past 12 months.

There are a couple of dogs that roam around my street. I have found them to be utterly harmless and easy to get along with. They are looked after by people in the neighbourhood.

Sometimes at night or early morning the dogs in the neighbourhood bark a lot. It never lasts long but you might wake up early because of it.
