The property is located next to a great forest/park, one of the oldest in Sofia and it will take you 30 min to downtown if youre willing to have an adventure. Excellent for traveling with pets. We had a 5.30 check-in at the airport and the receptionist helpfully arranged a quick and efficient car for 20 euros."

The gondola is about 400 metres away. There isn't as much for the children to do in the hotel as there is at the nearby huge Hotel Rila or slightly further away Hotel Samakov but the hotel itself is much nicer. The other hotels don't seem to mind you using their facilities which are paid for separately such as the shooting gallery, pool, ceramic painting etc. We were lucky with the conditions as it had snowed the day before we arrived so all the runs were open. Generally, we really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly return. "

The pavement before the hotel is uneven and at night it was quite dark so be aware but was very safe in the neighbourhood. Our favourite eaterie was Spaghetti Kitchen bar in Svetla, the food is to die for and cheap, two main meals plus dessert £25, also they catered very well for gluten free. Near the hotel is a local Billa supermarket which has a very comprehensive range of food and drink etc. Overall thankyou to the hotel for a fabulous stay."
