- "5 of us girls stayed at OttoMood and our room had 3 single beds and one queen bed. It was perfect. There was a closet to store our belongings and the staff were great to make sure we had fresh towels or we could help our selves. The morning breakfast was simple yet all we needed to start the day. The cappuccinos were good too. The staff were helpful and friendly. Wifi was intermittent, but overall good. Bottle opener in room. Access to a shared kitchen. We left our wine bottles in there over the course of the week and they were never taken. Kettle in room. Cute balcony. High ceilings. Secure building and safe area of Catania right in the center town. Tons of places to eat and within walking distance to the Fish market, beaches, sightseeing. Slightly noisy at night if you sleep with balcony door open but quiet when closed. Great value!"

The balcony and French Windows overlooked a church and resterant and we watched the locals directing people trying to park in the busy street below for a small fee. Breakfast was served in the kitchen by Teresa and lovely china and linen adorned the table. Freshly made juices and an array of local cheese bread cakes etc were provided in abundance. Parking and driving in Catania was challenging and my husband opted to use the hotel parking facility for €10 a night which he thought a little expensive. Catania itself had many interesting sites but spoiled by graffiti. Also hungry refugees were very evident and the locals seemed inclined to ignore them. "

This place very close to town but quite at night . Location is very good close to everything turn left 3 block will go to main square close to tourist attraction like church. Fish market, food and restaurants and plus shopping street and bus tour .turn right have laundry and bakery. The place is very neat and clean . Breakfast is very healthy like homemade bread , fruit , yogurt, cookies, tea , coffee etc . Plus he is very helpful and understands like we are going to left to trip early, he prepared breakfast early for us ( our 1 guess breakfast too ) On last day we left city too late and he was very helpful to allow us to leave luggage there . First of all i would like to thank you for the hospitality, kindness and helpfulness. Everyone is trying to do their best to make you feel comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious with a beautiful ceiling painting that makes you feel like you are in 19th century. The breakfast was enough but it would be good to have some fresh vegetables like tomato, cucumber and bell peppers. The location is fine, not so crowded and always quite. It's a bit far from the very center of the city but there are very good restaurants, bars and stores around the building, no need to go far everytime. The best thing is the car park. It's behind the building an well secured and easy to access as well as the building itself. The only tricky thing is checking-in. After 11am you should do self check-in. They are sending the details about how to enter the building and your room. The decoration of the accommodation is very attractive and unique thanks to ceramic works of Ceramiche de Simone. If you have time, you should visit the workshop to buy some souvenirs or you can go to its own store. There are lots of ceramic stores all around the Sicilia but they have the most interesting and different ones. We really appreciate to stay in this accommodation and for sure will stay again and will recommend to everyone."
