" - "Beautiful place with lots of character" - "We had a beautiful, characterful one bedroom apartment with a very well-equipped kitchen in an area of the development with its own small pool and three or four other apartments, none of which was occupied during our three-night visit in mid November. When we arrived, there was a welcome pack including everything for a light meal, but the TV signal kept cutting out, and we weren't able to operate the safe (there were no instructions). But having mentioned this in our Expedia check-in review, someone contacted us immediately, and it was sorted out the following morning. One of the owners also later paid a visit to make sure the problems had been ironed out. The property has beautiful flagstone floors, and some walls that are bare stone, so it is difficult to keep dust free, and might be problematic for someone with allergies. Walking to the nearest taverna was tricky in the dark, especially as there was a problem with the village lights. Take a torch or your phone! The second larger pool, in a separate area with several more apartments overlooking it, was lovely, and we made use of it although it was unheated and a bit on the chilly side owing to the time of year. Over all, a lovely and unusual place, and we will definitely return one day. "

- "Me and my girlfriend had a great 1 week stay at the villas. The villa is outside Paphos in a place called Ghoudi (pronounced Goo-oo-d-ee). Around 50 minutes from the airport (Paphos) I recommend using a local taxi company +3579948613 who charge 50 euros and not the taxi hire companies at the airport who charge 85 euros. The villa is nearly 5km from Polis (the nearest town) which you will need to rent a car/hire a taxi to visit (12 euros). There is lots of restaurants and supermarkets here. You are Around 7km from Latchi which is where the nearest beach is and lots of restaurants and activities such as quad biking, boat trips, scuba diving, boat hiral Etc. The kitchen could use more utensils for cooking and perhaps the basics like salt, pepper, olive oil but other than that it is very handy and great to have. Rooms and bathrooms are clean upon arrival and the grounds themselves are kept very well by a lovely lady called Monika. The grounds themselves are split between 5-7 apartments over a communal pool. Again the pool is kept clean, and pool areas are a great sun trap. Being out of the way it is very relaxing and quiet. I also recommend a visit to the nearby juice and sandwich bar just off the main road. The man who runs it is very friendly and provides fresh juice prepared right for you and can not do enough to help you or make sure you are enjoying your stay. Overall the villa is a great quiet retreat for relaxing. I would definitely hire a car when returning!"

The owner of the cottage was extremely welcoming and treated us to local wines and candies. The quiet compared to the loud cities was amazing at night. I actually proposed to her on the spacious patio that faced more of the village down the hill and the rising hills in the distance. So beautiful! We can't wait to go back!"

The Cottages feature 6 rooms, all of them very special. We stayed in the Presidential Suit, which is a renovated and refurbished spacious room in a very old (1901) building. It has a fireplace, a double bed, an armchair set with a coffee-table and a kitchenette. It's also en-suit of course. The ceilings are very high, which makes it difficult to keep the room warm but we managed with both the fireplace and the AC. It actually is going to be an advantage in summer as the room will be cool despite the temperature outside. The area of Meleni Cottage Houses is lovely, with tables, benches, sunbeds, and an outdoor pool. It is situated very close to two churches - one very old - Venetian period - and one newish Byzantine looking one. Guests are offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast we bought was very good - homemade with all the natural products. We were very happy with our short stay and we are definitely coming back in summer for a longer getaway. "

I am a cook living with my young at heart mother who freelances as a graphic designer and our two cats. Our home consists of a colorful living room and kitchen to share. It has two bathrooms (one of which is private for our guests) and is located 15 mins away by car or bus from the city centre of Nicosia and less than 10 mins away from the university of Cyprus. Our room for rent is quite large and can very comfortably accommodate for individuals, couples and small groups of friends, or families.

Our room for rent is bright and modern with a king sized bed, freshly painted walls, ample cupboard space and access to the herb garden and veranda. We offer free pick up from the airport shuttle Kapnos in Nicosia and would be happy to welcome you any time.

The beach is 150 metres away (famous beach of mazotos) where you can kite surf and there is also a fish tavern.Transport is needed as Mazotos village is 2km away and from city larnaca 20 minutes.The airport is about 12 minutes from house.
