Concerns (from viewpoint of an elderly person): no elevator, low toilet, no grab bar next to toilet or in shower. Family members had room facing pool. Swimming lessons started at 7 am. Most folks are ready to get up and go by that time, but my group had hoped to sleep in. For the most part - a pleasant experience. The staff member who helped us was very knowledgeable about places to eat on a Sunday night and steered us to a perfect site to watch the eclipse."

One bedroom A-frame cabin with a master bedroom downstairs and a large loft with two twin beds and plenty of room for extra kids or a blow up bed between. Ladder up to loft. Full kitchen and lots of windows overlooking the White River. Just above "The Narrows" where people love to wade and fly fish. Can also wade and fish just off the bank below the cabin, but bring your waders because the water is COLD. This is the part of the river frequented by fishing guides due to the excellent fishing. Very tranquil and comfortable cabin. A true place to relax and escape!

This little house is absolutely adorable. It has one bedroom with two queen sizes beds, a quaint little kitchen and comfortable living room. The front deck is perfect for grilling and enjoying the outdoors. The firepit by the creek has been a favorite for guests. The property provides full kitchen, linens, bedding, towels, washer/dryer, firepit, covered porch, deck, firepit, and large area for kids to run and play. We provide a small amount of firewood with your stay but if you need more we have bundles available to purchase. The firepit is a great place to hangout next to the creek and enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature.

This is a beautiful vacation rental home in the heart of Cotter, Arkansas, the "Trout Capital USA," home of the gorgeous White River. Cotter is a historical rail road town and the rail is still in operation today. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house. You will be just a short distance to some of the best trout fishing on the White River. 2 min. to Cotter Big Spring Park and boat launch, 15 min to Bull Shoals Lake, about 20 minutes to Norfork Lake and about 30 minutes to the Buffalo River. You can see the location of the house on the map or Google maps. The house has been remodeled and is well stocked. Master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and has a 32" flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom also has a 32" flat screen, reclining chair that is great for reading or napping , full size bed and twin bunk. Living room has a full size pull out bed and a 50" flat screen TV. Heather Hill Cabins are located north of Jasper, AR just 2 miles from Pruitt's landing on the Buffalo River. The cabins are nestled in the woods on 20 acres. Guests can enjoy tons of outdoor activities in the area from canoeing the beautiful Buffalo National River, fabulous and scenic hiking trails, the Little Grand Canyon of Arkansas, zip-lining, mystic caverns, waterfalls galore, cliff jumping on the Buffalo (if you're crazy) and the historic town of Jasper. As an added bonus, Branson, MO and Eureka Springs, AR is only an hour's drive from the cabins. Please note that we are located on a gravel road a half mile off of Hwy 7. Once you arrive at Heather Hill Cabins, the driveway is gravel (9% grade). The last driveway to this cabin is paved at a 13% grade. Gravel can be bumpy at times however 4 wheel drive is not necessary.

Welcome to the Hilltopper cabin, a newer cabin nestled in the forest. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is the perfect spot to relax after a full day of exploring the Arkansas Ozarks. This cabin is upscale, with custom woodwork and tin, elegantly decorated, with all the comforts of home.

Small, but cozy, our tiny house tucked in the woods offers the amenities you want on your Natural State adventure. The cabin is ideal for two people, but can accommodate three. The upstairs loft bedroom features a Sleep Number queen bed so you can get a great night of rest after your day on the river. The couch in the living area folds out for additional sleeping space.

Relax and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks on the front porch in a rocking chair or on the back deck. We like to spend as much time outside as we can at the cabin, so there is a fire pit, patio set, charcoal grill and outdoor games for guests to enjoy. Deer and other wildlife can often be spotted from the cabin. And don't forget to check out the stars at night! The park was recently designated an International Dark Sky Park for its superb opportunities for star gazing.

The Buffalo Bender kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, stove/oven, toaster, crock pot, pots and pans, plates, cups, utensils, and basic spices and condiments. Additional items provided include wifi, hair dryer, TV with DVD player and movies, board games, outdoor games, grill with charcoal, bath and beach towels, fan, cooler for use on the river, firewood, and bedding. It's all the fun of camping in the great outdoors without packing the gear!

The cabin is pet-friendly to well-behaved, housebroken dogs with a pet fee of $50. For their safety, we ask that you do not leave pets unattended outside. The Buffalo River is one of America's few free-flowing rivers and features excellent floating, hiking, bluffs, waterfalls, and wildlife. It's an outdoor lover's dream! You can easily rent canoes, kayaks, and rafts at the river concessionaires located half a mile from the cabin. We love to float and hike, so feel free to ask us for recommendations.

- "My son (19) and I spent a couple days fly fishing on the White River and stayed in the smaller of the two houses located on this property. It worked perfectly for us, and it’s nice, clean and modern. WI-FI is fast, two TV’s with Roku are new, kitchen and eating area is one room and well stocked. Bedrooms are a single queen and two twin beds. Property affronts a large shoal on the White, it’s wadable/fishable when the water is not running. Large, well maintained lot, beautiful trees and view of the river. The owner is very nice and quick with replies. Less than 500 yards from the White Hole Public Access."

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks on a 100-acre farm and 3 acre fishing pond. Lily Pad is centrally located for all your upper Buffalo River activities. All the perks of a national park can be sought along with the joys of living on a farm. Watch granny milk each morning and enjoy the butter, eggs, and meat grown right here. This cabin comes with a yard of your own, a fire pit (firewood 5$ an armload), an ice maker, a smart tv with free Wi-Fi, a charcoal grill, and modern plumbing to make this little cabin your home away from home. Directions- Take Firetower road off of highway 43. Go exactly 3.5 miles and turn left on Crossroads road. Pass Crossroads church and stay straight, (do not take Stoverville to the left directly after the church, it takes you to Ponca the back way, down the mountain). Bring your fishing pole for the pond and do not forget to ask about farm raised products including beef, butter, eggs, and more! We do have Pyrenees dogs who watch over the farm, they are harmless and part of the landscape.

The space
Room to roam outside, hiking, fishing, swimming, and views of Bull Shoals lake and the Dam. You can also see the Dam lights at night in the distance.

Acreage with trails cut out + govt forrest/land bordering two sides with lake access from the property. Or you can launch your boat a few minutes drive. Lake levels are high right now summer 2025. Swim dock accessibility can change daily.

Plenty of space to sprawl and relax in the condo or outside seating area with charcoal grill and cornhole. Catch a view of sunrise or sunset with the lake in the background. The view is always changing and always beautiful.

Guest access
Beyond the condo, at the end of the building there is an outdoor seating area facing the lake, play cornhole, you can also use the charcoal grill to bbq. Or just relax and enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset. The view is always different.

Follow mowed paths carved out where you can walk or drive to the back of the property. There is a picnic area under a pavilion and also a private entrance onto public land where you can hike down to the lake. Please let us know if you have questions about getting around the property. Thank you.

Our physical address is 215 Stick Horse Drive, St. Joe, AR 72675. This cabin is located on the Buffalo River Lodge Property 10 min from North Maumee, and 15 to 20 min to Dillard's Ferry, Buffalo Point and Rush.

The space
Your Cabin comes with linens, towels, microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker and filters, charcoal grill and picnic area. Bring paper plates and silverware, food, coffee and charcoal, and enjoy your time at the river. This Cabin has a private bathroom located 100 feet away. If you need more space or have more guests in your group, we have one more similar cabin. Be aware - it could get warm inside when outdoor temperatures are above 100 degrees.
