The Villas are large (two bedroom), clean, self-contained (including two bathrooms and a well equipped laundry) and have a 'wow factor'. Everything required was provided in a fully equipped kitchen; the lounge was comfortably furnished and included a large screen smart TV and excellent Audio system; and the beds were comfortable with good linen. Staff at reception were most helpful. The grounds were pleasant and included a beautiful pool. An on-call shuttle (5-7 minute delay between calling and arrival) service was cost effective to travel to- and from- town, where all necessary shops, cafes and restaurants were available. Tour operators pick you up from your door. That the Villa was not serviced daily was not an issue, and the 'Restaurant' on site is more a limited-range cafe. Food was available by delivery, but with the excellent kitchen, buying groceries and cooking for yourself works well. For excellent dining options, two restaurants in Port Douglas stand out: Salsa and Melaleuca, both on Wharf Street. Both these offer fine food and service, but while prices were at the top end, they were not excessive. The best coffee in Part Douglas is from Origin Espresso on Grant Street. You will really enjoy Port Douglas and a stay with Reef Villas Resort."

Large freeform ( heated in winter) saltwater pool surrounded by a large sundeck and two BBQs attached is a fantastic place to relax.

Tours to the Great Barrier Reef or Daintree rainforest are yours for the choosing.

The space
We are in a great location. Only 3 or 4 minutes walk to the beach, 2 or 3 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in the main street and only 5 mins walk to the marina for more restaurants and Great Barrier Reef tours.

When booking, if a ground floor apartment is required, please notify us when booking. Otherwise, your booking can be allocated on the first floor OR ground floor. First floor is accessed by two sets of stairs (7 steps each).

Other things to note
Office hours are from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and 8:30am-12 noon Saturday and Sunday. Office hours can be longer during high season.
Please notify us if arriving after hours as we have a procedure in place for late arrivals.
Car parking is limited and is issued on a first come-first served basis. Car parking cannot be reserved/booked.
A free linen service/change is offered on stays of 8 nights or more (mid stay service). Extra linen can always be requested at a small cost.

Located just 350m from Four Mile Beach and a 5 minute drive from the main part of town, this newly renovated private space is fully self-contained.

The space
In the room there is complimentary WIFI and Netflix and a queen size bed (with luxurious 1000 thread count sheets) and under bed storage. The kitchen has a combination microwave/grill/air-fryer, Nespresso machine, milk frother, a decent sized fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and essential pots, pans, glasses, utensils and crockery. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, hair dryer, hanging space for clothes, a washing machine/dryer and iron and ironing board. The outdoor patio features a hanging egg chair to relax in as well as table and chairs, festoon lights and a BBQ with a side burner (to use with frypan or pots) to enjoy alfresco dining.

Keys to the property are located in a lock-box by the front door.

A spacious hotel-style studio room at Ramada Resort. The studio is self-serviced, with some kitchen facilities (kettle, Nespresso machine, microwave, fridge), and a large bathroom. The studio has its own FREE wifi. The room is in a great location within the resort, which has a lush rainforest atmosphere, and a wonderful pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Please note that Ramada is at the quiet end of Port Douglas - it is about 10 minutes to the town centre by car or shuttle bus.

It's a spacious home ideal for families or friends, a wonderful place to introduce children to nature and farm animals, and a romantic getaway for couples. Plus, it's conveniently located near the Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, and Daintree Rainforest.

This distinctive cottage is nestled on 21 acres of land, encompassing roughly one-third rainforest and two-thirds open grasslands.

The space
We inhabit this stunning parcel of land alongside a diverse array of animals, ranging from large and small domesticated creatures to native wildlife passing through. The dam situated in front of the cottage draws a wide variety of birds. Additionally, there are fenced sections designated for horses, cattle, and sheep.
Ideal for couples, families, and friends seeking a tranquil retreat to relax and explore the surrounding area.

The house
Your accommodation is an entire house with its own private entrance. We reside 70 meters away on the same property in a separate house, sharing the driveway.

Near the cottage, the dam is fenced for sheep but is not suitable as a pool for children who cannot swim.
For your convenience, the cottage features a plunge pool, which is safe for swimming and is crafted from a concrete water tank. Alternatively, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in natural freshwater holes just over 1.5km from the front gate.

The cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs, complete with a fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle. This setup is perfect for accommodating two couples comfortably.


Upstairs
• The main bedroom is open-plan, overlooking the lounge and dining area, featuring a king-sized bed and a private balcony. Bathroom access is from the living area.
• The second bedroom is private, with its own bathroom and air conditioning. It includes two single beds that can be joined together to form a king-sized bed.
• The main bedroom, lounge, kitchen, and dining areas are air-conditioned for your comfort.
• The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, complete with a dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. The indoor dining table comfortably seats 6 guests.
• Outside on the veranda, there is dining space for 6 people as well.
• The lounge area features a 50-inch smart TV for entertainment.
• Direct access to the pool is available from the veranda at this level.

Downstairs:
• One large room featuring a queen bed, comfortable recliners, kitchenette, and a 50-inch smart TV. There is also a dining table with chairs, and the area is air-conditioned.

You have full access to the cottage and its gardens. Additionally, there's a walking track at the back of the property leading to an ocean view and Snapper Island.

Other things to note
You may encounter some of our farm animals during your stay. Most are enclosed, but chickens and peacocks roam freely. If you're interested in meeting the larger animals, we can arrange a feeding time for you.

Dogs are welcome on the veranda, which is gated at both ends. However, the property is not fenced. As we have free-range chickens and peacocks, dogs must always be on a lead and under control. They cannot be left unattended on the property, and barking should be kept to a minimum.

DAINTREE GETAWAY APARTMENT. Be pleasantly surprised by this self-contained private oasis in beautiful Far North Queensland. This superb apartment is only minutes away from local shops and amenities and close to the only place in the world where two World Heritage areas meet, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Relax in this beautiful location while enjoying the serene mountain views, surrounded by cane fields at the end of a days sightseeing.

The apartment with private patio, is fully self contained, with lounge/dining/kitchen area, bathroom/toilet and one queen sized bedroom. A single sofa bed in the lounge, provides ample room for three guests.

Our apartment has private access and car parking. Guests can enjoy the serene garden setting when relaxing on their own private patio.

Guests will require a vehicle whilst staying at our apartment in Mossman, Far North Queensland. We are located within walking distance of local shops, cafes and restaurants.

Relax in this calm, stylish space. Just 45 seconds to the Famous 4 Mile Beach. You are in the heart of Locals Territory which comes with great Local Knowledge. A perfect place to relax or to explore Port Douglas . Close to restaurants, pubs and more, you will be hosted by Simon and Louis (an ex-care support dog). It’s also a fantastic base to engage in local festivals and activities like Kite Surfing and Sailing. We welcome EVERYONE & we are also a great space for our DOG and LGBTQ FRIENDS

The space
You have your own bedroom with a king bed and a surround balcony overlooking the pool! There is a breakfast table and chairs, with an outdoor lounge on the balcony. There is a choice of 2000 thread count 100% cotton sheets or the same thread in bamboo. Pillows are duck down.

You also have your own newly renovated bathroom with free standing tub and double vanity. The room, bed and balcony are all huge, so it’s a great space. A workstation can be added upon request. The guest bedroom and bathroom is off limits for Louis both during stays and when vacant. The home, and the dog are also cleaned professionally on a weekly basis, and the only odour you will smell is the beautiful scent of the ocean and trees!🙏

Guests have full access to all common areas of the Villa. This includes the pool, courtyard, kitchen and lounge room. You can make your own meals or receive great local recommendations to the best pubs, restaurants and bars in town.

During your stay
I work full time from Tuesdays to Saturdays, but I’m always available to answer any questions or give directions when required. I’m very mindful of giving you your own space whilst on holiday, but I’m more then happy to engage with you when you require anything, want to chat, or enjoy a glass of bubbly.

Louis the ex-care dog is a house dog. He doesn’t bark or jump or annoy, and he is very happy to give you your own space, but is also very happy if you want to Pat or cuddle or just hang out with him. However I do stress that potential guests are confident and relaxed around dogs. If you have never interacted with dogs or a especially afraid of them, then this may not be the accommodation for you. But if u love dogs or are comfortable with them, then Louis is an absolute joy.

Other things to note
Being so close to the beach, Villa Louis is a relaxing haven on the door stop of the very best Port Douglas has to offer. It’s an extremely peaceful location with only six villas in total. If you want action we have the pub, restaurants and cafes only a block or a beautiful walk away. A transfer shuttle for a small fee will take you into town where all the action is, just five minutes away. Also a bike is available for you to use. For those who may (worry) about dog smell or hair, Louis has his own bed, and is not allowed in the guest space.

If you have a pet, and it’s a dog, I think it would be advantageous that we spend a little time on arrival to introduce our dogs. I think it would also be an advantage to message each other to discuss pet interaction and rules before arrival. I love dogs, but I want to make sure your stay is harmonious for both you and your pet. 🥰🥰

Also please ease be aware that at it is a villa with a fenced in courtyard that’s quite small. You also have a large wrap around balcony for you and your pet to enjoy, but again, remember it’s a Villa, and the dog spaces are small.
