Beechmont Mountain View Chalet is a lovingly restored charming home in a beautiful secluded, peaceful location on the edge of the rainforest overlooking Lamington National Park, Mt Warning Springbrook and the Numinbah Valley.
This serene location enables you to listen to abundant bird calls and watch the native animals without disturbing them.
The chalet offers private and uninterrupted views of the surrounding area. For those seeking an escape, the chalet offers everything you could want.
The space
The Chalet is a beautiful romantic space, constructed with natural timbers throughout, creating a truly unique setting.
The Chalet features a private outdoor heated spa and BBQ on the back verandah that offer the most breathtaking, uninterrupted views.
Guests can lay on the sunbed with your favorite drink and enjoy the sunrise or sunset, or gaze upon the amazing Milky Way at night with the monotelescope. Alternatively, sit back and enjoy the open fireplace on a cold night (timber supplied from May to end September).
We supply a hamper and a bottle of local Champagne on arrival. Tea, coffee, and some essentials are provided for breakfast, but guests are encouraged to BYO meals (as there are No grocery stores on the Mountain). A NEW fully equipped Chefs Kitchen with a new free standing electric oven and gas cooktop is available for guests to use.
One of the bedrooms is on the Mezzanine floor which is an open layout, overlooking the Lounge room and Fire Place creating an incredibly romantic ambience.
We are able to make up the sofa bed upon request.
We can also offer ideas for local places of interest such as wineries, restaurants, walking trails to enjoy during your stay.

It can get quite cold up here even in summer, so we highly recommend that you bring a set of warm clothes.

The chalet is fully self-contained with all the necessities you need to have an amazing stay.
