- "This house was perfect for our family of 5 as a base to explore the La Fortuna/Arenal region. Everything was great, especially the incredible panoramic views and the lush garden with all types of tropical flowers and the kids loved the plunge pool. We didn't bother cooking at night so it was nice that there were a few close by restaurants on the street. Highly recommend La Ventanita for good prices, nice ambiance and delicious milkshakes. Only way the house could be improved would be a few more standing electric fans to supplement the ceiling fans as we were there in a hot spell and it took awhile for the rooms to cool down in the evening as we followed instructions to leave all windows closed when we went out in case of sudden weather changes."

Beautifully decorated and a lovely garden/lawn area. We saw lots of wildlife: multiple two toed sloths, green macaws, hummingbirds, crabs, toads, and frogs! There is a water filter with cooled, room temp and hot water options - very nice! Two restaurants within a 4 min walk in the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with a gas burning stove/oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker & toaster. There was coffee and sugar in the fridge and ice trays in the freezer. Great AC in the bedrooms. The master suite is impressive, the other two rooms are quite small but also cool down quickly with their own AC units. Would absolutely stay here if we're ever in the area again. The outdoor shower attached to the master suite could be more private - we could see people walking down the road. Lots of free roaming dogs in the area led to multiple piles of dog poop on the lawn - would be great if those were cleaned up regularly."

- "The outdoor area/ backyard on this property was amazing. We spent all of our free time after going on tours just relaxing in the hammocks, sitting in the rocking chairs, kids in the pool. So many animals- there were 2 iguanas on the driveway to greet us, spider monkeys and then howler monkeys in the trees at the back of the property, geckos, etc. The outdoor area is the best part of this property. The inside is very clean, basic and simple, as it’s pictured. Plenty of utensils/ cookware in the kitchen to make meals. Only thing we were missing was a toaster, but that didn’t bother us. It was very handy to have access to a washing machine and hung everything to dry outside. We had a car and the drive into town was short. Lots of shopping, grocery, fruit markets, restaurants. There was an air conditioner unit in each of the bedrooms and fans in the main areas to keep air moving. Our host was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely stay here again."

The resort is safe and secure and the grounds are taken care of beautifully. The pool was so refreshing for our group of 6 adults. The beach walk is just a short walk away and there is a grocery store and restaurants right across the street. Our only downside was the wifi is very spotty. If there is a storm it won't work and it can take a long time to come back on and if there are multiple guests it runs slow. This isn't a downside if wifi isn't a big deal or you don't have business work to do. I would definitely recommend this property and stay there again if I return to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica."

Planning on spending all day at the beach, you can take a 5-minute drive to The Beach Club on your car or use the on-demand free shuttle service, which will come right to the condo and pick you up - anytime from 7:00am – 10:00pm.



If you need daily cleaning, we can arrange that with an additional cost. We can also arrange for your groceries to be purchased and delivered to the condo, as well as a personal chef, yoga instructor, anything you want, so you can just relax and be pampered!

Public spaces at the buildings such as entry, elevators and elevator buttons and public bathrooms are deeply and often disinfected.



If you want additional cleaning services during your stay, we are happy to offer them. You only have to contact us so we can share our menu with you.



In case your stay is 7 or more nights, one required general cleaning service is included in your rate on the day you choose at no additional cost, it has to be booked prior arrival.

This house is part of a property that has two independent accommodations. Each house has a private entrance and spaces, but they share the same lot. If you need more space, you can also book the other house available on this same property.

Other things to note
Both houses are located within the same estate. Each has its privacy, but they can be seen from certain points. If you're traveling in a group, you can book both houses together (check availability).

Casas Jaguar is a family lodging located between downtown and the area's most popular attractions such as canopies, suspension bridges, and the Santa Elena reserve. The space
Each house measures 90m2 and is built with large windows to receive lots of natural light and offer the opportunity to connect as much as possible with nature, always maintaining a lot of privacy and independence.
