- "Our family of 5 (3 generations) spent a week at the Parador after Christmas. It was more than I usually spend, but so worth it. The rooms and grounds were beautiful and the staff was so helpful and competent. We took advantage of several guided nature tours as well as a Mercado tour in nearby Quepos. We were immersed in the natural beauty of the rainforest. The main dining room offered delicious options with a breakfast buffet included in our room price. The hotel put on a delightful New Year’s Eve party with live music, dance performers and a huge buffet -again, included with our room price. - "The place is very beautiful and the service is great. All the staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I want to give the special shut out to the manager Rosa who went an extra mile to offer us freshly cut aloe juice from their garden when she saw that we got sun burned on the beach (it works great when it’s fresh!). It’s also a great place for surfing lessons. The only minor improvement I would make is the quality of pillows in the rooms which weren’t the greatest. We would definitely choose this place again, it’s great for a family vacation."
