Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas of interest. Here on Andros island our guests enjoy our wonderful accommodations, relishing the simple elegance of the houseboat, while basking in the outstanding natural environment, clear horizons and unbeatable fresh air.
We are definitely far from the crowds.

This unique wooden two storey houseboat has three air conditioned en suite bedrooms, each with a private porch which overlooks the creek. There are two bedrooms upstairs and a king sized studio bedroom downstairs, the beds are comfortable with 100% cotton linens and hand crafted quilts. There is a well equipped kitchen, pleasant lounge, breakfast bar, plus a dining and social area. On the decks we have loungers and adirondack chairs, a picnic table and shade umbrella. The houseboat has decks on three sides so you can always find a spot to fish and bathe in the sun or the shade, read a book, paint the scene, play music, it's a wonderful spot to give yourself the time and space to unwind and enjoy.

The houseboat stands permanently and securely moored in the tidal waters of Fresh Creek, Andros and is connected to the land by a small bridge. It's a rejuvenating place to spend a vacation, a unique gem set in a natural aquarium. The ocean flows under and all around you, marine life swims right by, you'll enjoy a swim or snorkel, fishing and star gazing while relaxing and having fun in this lovely spot.

The houseboat is located on the bone fishing flats of Fresh Creek, you'll be able to wade for miles and fly fish to your heart's content, or enjoy just sitting on the houseboat deck and throwing in your line, bringing in your catch and popping it in the frying pan! Andros is renowned for being off the beaten track, here the Eco tourist can enjoy the fishing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, kayaking and beaching.

Andros is famous for scuba diving and snorkeling, the third largest barrier reef in the world lies just a mile off the eastern shoreline. Our favorite day includes a snorkel in Fresh Creek, if you watch the tides you could ride along with them as the water floods through the creek you will be swept along!

The blue holes of Andros are a must to visit, they are fresh water holes where swimming is a treat and are found deep in the heart of the island in The Blue Holes National Park.

Birders delight in the wildlife experience that Andros has to offer, this island is a destination of choice for North American migratory birds, and our island birds are impressive too.

The island of Andros has at least a hundred miles of unspoiled deserted beaches, I know you'll find your favorite sandy spot. The island is a super destination for walkers too, you'll enjoy great hikes through the National Parks and along the deserted beaches.

If you would like to explore the island a rental car can be arranged to meet you on arrival or picked up mid stay.

Kayaks are also here to explore the creek.

WIFI is available in the main house located just across the garden or the WIFI box can be rented for $10 per day.
There is NO bank on the island so please bring some US $ cash along with you as although most businesses do accept cards some can only take cash.

- "Three of us stayed in the house on Fresh Creek and we’re counting down the days until we can go back with more people to experience it all over again! The house was everything we could have wanted and more! Everything we could have needed was already in the house - towels, soap, even spare blankets. Both Gabrielle and Peter were so welcoming and kind for the duration of our stay - ensuring we had everything needed and answering our questions throughout the week. There was an incredible book with a list of all Andros activities - it was like a travel agent had written everything to do on the island specific to the house and your stay there! We found this really helpful and picked out several ideas for our week long stay. The book had specific directions from the house to the Blue Holes which we took pictures of and followed. Gabrielle also recommended specific reef fishing guides and fly fishing guides for our group. We took both recommendations and had an experience we’ll never forget! They were so great, we all swear we’re going to only go back to the same guides whenever we make it back to Fresh Creek. We utilized kayaks almost every day, fed the bright fish that live under the house, enjoyed many sunsets and the incredible view! We can’t speak highly enough of our stay with Gabrielle and Peter or the many incredible people we met throughout the week. We will be back!"

- "We rented the boat with the family with the intention to use it during the day to take us to the recommended places in Exuma, no sleeping in the boat. The boats needs lots lots of improvements and cleaning for the guests, no stairs to climb to the boat from the water, broken rails , bad maintenance. The second day of the rental we had to share all day with captain and his entire family without notice."

The yacht has a full kitchen available for your use, fridge and freezer, and BBQ outside. You can pick up your own groceries, or we can have the boat pre-stocked with groceries and alcohol for your arrival.

Boats require special care and will have some special requirements to live in. Its easy, but very important to review our 'home guide' (preferably) before your arrival, as well upon arrival to familiarize yourself with a few important systems on the boat.

Please note that while 8 adults can technically sleep on the yacht, there are only 3 suites on the catamaran. The final bed is a kitchen table conversion which can easily be dropped and will hold 2 adults comfortably... but no privacy or in-suite bathroom.

2 Days 1 Night, Exumas (Relocation Fee Required $1,700) Begin in Staniel Cay with welcome drinks & snacks, explore Thunderball Grotto (James Bond Cave) then lunch aboard the boat including bottomless drinks, visit the swimming pigs then sail to Compass Cay for the night. Wake up to an incredible breakfast before going and swimming with the nurse sharks of Compass Cay, quick trip to Rocky Dundas caves before heading back to the boat for lunch and drinks while sailing back to Staniel Cay.

3 Days 2 nights, Exumas (Relocation Fee Required $1,700) Same as 2 days in Exumas, but add a visit to Warderick Wells in the Exumas land and sea park. This breathtaking place has a beautiful channel to take a morning ball in, great snorkeling and sea life including plenty of sharks and rays, and a great hike to the top of Bobo Hill.

4 Days 3 nights, Exumas (Relocation Fee Required) $1,700 Same as 2, and 3 days in Exumas but add a visit to the famous drug smugglers sunken plane at Normans Cay and a awesome tender ride through the mangroves at Staniel Cay.
