- "This is the 1st time for me visiting Exuma and I tell you the Island itself took my breath away. My husband and I came here for our 15th wedding anniversary and it was his suggestion to visit here. He use to come with his family for about 7 years until he was in college and it left a lasting impression. The cottage was exactly like it looked in the pictures, plenty of hot water and extras I didn't expect to find. They provided beach towels, coffee, tea, cocoa, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, dish & dish washer detergent. Usually when you stay at a rental, those things are at your own expense. When we contacted them to prearrange a pick up, they offered suggestions that helped make our trip more enjoyable. They told us we could save money by bringing our own meats etc. and offered to help in finding us a car rental. The only reason I gave a 4 for comfort level is that the bed was very noisy, and I believe it was because of the mattress protector they had on it, which was understandable. There is a liquor store and grocery store within walking distance and I was told fresh deliveries come in on Tuesday. Everyone was so friendly. I recommend this island and Hooper's Bay Villa to stay if your are someone who likes to be away from the crowds and touristy stuff, but are still close enough to the town to enjoy fishing, boating, diving, snorkling & nightly entertainment."

Mainbrace was built in the 1970's and renovated to the studs during the Summer of 2015.
It's a charming three bedroom, two bath beach cottage on a large property strewn with swaying coconut trees.
Located "one off the beach", Mainbrace sits behind the dune, so while you can't see the ocean from the house, you can hear it and feel the ocean's breezes. It is just a few short steps * to the nearest beach access and beach chairs and an umbrella are available for your use at the house.

The house is built in the old colonial island architectural style.
The house has 3 bedrooms upstairs with each having its own private bath. The master has a king bed and faces the beach and ocean with a sliding glass door leading out on to the balcony. Queen beds in the other 2 with each having its own bathroom.
Downstairs you will find the house has a large living area and kitchen all in one, with 10 ft ceiling that has great view of Ocean and Beach with 2 sliding glass doors leading out on to the porch followed by a 500 sq ft deck the deck. There is also another bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and another bath and laundry.
To get to the island you fly into North Eleuthera Airport. The airport code is ELH. We will arrange your transportation from the airport to the island with a shuttle company. Cost is only $20 per adult for both land and water Taxi and takes about 10 minute in Taxi followed by a 10 minute Ferry ride. Someone will meet you at the Ferry dock and take you to the house.
Flights are easily available from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, Atlanta and Nassau. The airlines that service the island are Delta, American, United, Silver Airways< Aztec Airways, Bahamas Air, Pineapple air and Southern Air. If you choose to fly into Nassau there is 2 local airlines Pineapple Air and Southern air that have 3 flights daily from Nassau to North Eleuthera, morning, noon and afternoon.

In an attempt to make our property more affordable for smaller groups our pricing is based on 1-6 persons. Once correct amount is entered at booking correct price will be calculated. If changes are made to the number of guest home owner must be notified and applicable extra guest fee will have to be paid prior to arrival or access to the property will not be granted.

Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won't want to miss it.

Transportation : Getting to the Island is a fun part of the total experience.
Plane, Taxi, Water Taxi and Golf Cart all in one trip.
The airport is North Eleuthera ( ELH) and flights arrive into North Eleuthera from Nassau or Miami and Ft Lauderdale. Once you arrive at the North Eleuthera airport you will travel by taxi to the Genes Bay dock.
Here you will take a water Taxi across to Spanish Wells. Once you are on Spanish Wells, there will be someone there to escort you to Aunt Marjories Cottage where you will meet your Hosts Roy and Linda Pinder.

The cost of transport is approx $25.00 for the Land Taxi and approx $6/person for the water Taxi.

Then You will Enjoy Your Golf Cart that is included with your rent while you are on the Island.

We loved being able to walk to Budda's for karaoke night! Roy will take the kayak and paddle boards to the beach for you and leave them there. Then you just hop in your golf cart and head to the beach and kayak to your heart's content, which is exactly what we did. You can kayak out to Pier Rock and snorkel. Speaking of snorkeling, you can snorkel easily all along Russell Island. You just park your golf cart at the end of any public road on the north side of Russell Island and walk right into the water. The snorkeling is excellent! (Go at high tide.) Of course, the beach is the shining star of Spanish Wells and we feel we were able to experience more of the beach because we didn't stay on it. Every day, we'd pick a different section to hang out on. Again, you just drive your golf cart to the end of any public road, park it, and walk right on to the beach. Each day, we'd pick a different road to park at and get to experience a different part of the beach. The whole thing is glorious, but each section has it's own vibe and features. You do not miss anything about Spanish Wells by staying in town. You gain an immersive experience! Roy and Linda are outstanding hosts and are super friendly. They give hugs and fresh fruit from the trees in their yard! The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and the back yard is so lovely! We took many naps in the hammock and lounge chairs. We highly recommend Conched Out Island Cottage."

Exuma Sol is an end unit giving you privacy and extra outdoor space only steps from the beach and calm waters of Elizabeth Harbour, with only a short beachfront stroll to Jolly Hall (arguably one of the best beaches on Exuma). Hideaways onsite restaurant (Splash) is only a two-minute walk away and also nearby within a short walking distance is August Bay, Frankie Bananas, and the famous Fish Fry.

As we are part of Hideaways at Palm Bay Beach Club, our guests will have access to all amenities offered at the resort included in your rental rate with no additional fees. You will have daily access to the resort swimming pool and unlimited use of kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and free shuttle service to George Town. There is free parking onsite just across the street.

The wooden, winding steps, amidst the trees and natural fauna of the property, lead from the deck to a quiet, secluded beach. Imagine sunbathing, moon gazing, reading a book or relaxing with your favorite tropical drink in one of the comfortable patio lounge chairs. You may even want to prepare your meal for the day on the gas grill from this point of view.

If dining in is your preference, a fully equipped kitchen with major appliances awaits you. Make yourself at home with a standard size Whirlpool cooking range, refrigerator and microwave oven; toaster oven, beverage blender and coffee maker; and a full complement of cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, drinking glasses and flatware. A stackable washer and dryer stored in its own room also complements the amenities of this modern cottage.

Meals can be served at the four-seat, glass dinette table at the center of the open floor living space.

If you need to unwind before turning in at the end of the day or simply just want to relax and watch a favorite television program, do so in the comfort of a sofa which also opens to a bed for an extra guest or a loveseat, and smart television. We rented a car from Robert at Daddy Joe's, (great place to eat) which was convenient with airport pickup and drop off. We booked 2 boat trips (no fishing for us) one boat trip was for the north part of the island (Turtles, pigs, snorkelling... all amazing) and one for the south (lighthouse beach, snorkelling and Schooners Cay) Both trips were great. For the south trip we went with Captain John (BIG MAC - from Davies Harbour), amazing guy and very friendly. Everyone we met on the island was very friendly and helpful. Kids' favourite restaurant was Rainbow Inn Restaurant. Every beach we visited was amazing, the sand was so soft and almost always we had it all to ourselves. There is so much you can safely explore on your own! We learned about Eleuthera by first coming across Shorebreak and we truly can't wait to be back to the island and to stay at Shorebreak again."

We kayaked almost every day to the little islands in front of the house, which is a must do. There’s a beach access within walking distance that has Brea’s Delight Bar and Grill, we ate lunch there 3 days, best hamburgers on the island. Exuma Vacation Cottages: located away from the congestion and noise of George Town. The cottage has equipped kitchen, living room, 1 bedroom, 1 dressing room 1 bathroom and a screened front porch. Ideal for two people, can sleep three.Located directly across from Moriah Harbour Cay, which has been designated a Bahamian National Park. Moriah Harbour Cay has miles of the most beautiful, pristine (and almost always deserted) beaches in the world. Between the Cay and your cottage are some of the best bonefishing flats in the Bahamas.
Next to Moriah Harbour Cay is Man O’ War Cay, which also has miles of beautiful, deserted beaches, with great shelling, snorkeling, and swimming. All of these activities are a short kayak ride away (your own two person sit-on-top kayak is included with your cottage rental). You can kayak through awesome mangrove channels, fish for yellow tail snapper,and bone fish or just relax and enjoy views that very few others can see and appreciate. At the end of the day, relax on your screened porch overlooking the ocean and Moriah Harbour Cay, or have a swim in our 35 foot solar heated fresh-water pool, and plan your next day’s activities.

She can direct you to and assist you in: finding the best bone fish guide; getting a fishing license, finding the right restaurant and finding island entertainment that you will enjoy; renting a car or boat; exploring the island from Little Exuma to Barraterre; finding secluded beaches; going snorkeling, diving and deep-sea fishing; shopping for the essentials and gifts for the folks at home. Pink Sands Beach Cottage is a very charming beach cottage with a direct access to a breathtaking pink sandy beach. Most of the times you will be alone, and if it gets crowded, you may have two to six people around... 2.5 miles of stunning beach. On this part of this beach, at low tide, the ocean is a magnificent turquoise lagoon with large sand bars.

Spanish Wells offers everything you need: beautiful pink and white sand beaches, and water so clear that you can see your shadow on the bottom. Stretching from Spanish Wells to the northeast tip of mainland Eleuthera is a beautiful barrier reef called the Devil's Backbone which is inhabited with an abundance of marine life. This area is fantastic for snorkelers, and fishermen usually find that grouper and snapper are plentiful in this area. One mile off shore, there's great sport fishing. There's world-class bone fishing on the flats surrounding the island. One can walk around the island, wade for sand dollars on the North beach, purchase the fresh catch of the day from local fishermen, and browse the centuries-old village. Island tours offer a half-day or full day reef fishing, swim with the pigs, diving the shipwreck, cliff jumping, sand bar away from the shore...

Spanish Wells offers several supermarkets, a bakery, several restaurants or take away (which serve native Bahamian and American dishes at reasonable prices), bars and liquor stores, a medical clinic, a museum, variety stores, and of course, you can purchase fresh fish and lobster from fishermen!

Ideal temperatures all year round: Winter temperatures are generally in the 70's during the day and drop to the 60's at night. Summer daytime temperatures are generally in the 80's and drop to the 70's at night.

Though Hurricane Dorian in Sept 2019 seemingly left no GTC home untouched the Domino stood strong and has been hosting the return of the tourist since 2020. We are now in our 9th rental season.
Domino’s interior and exterior spaces and furnishings are freshly updated and better than ever.
Town power and water, strong Starlink WiFi and Direct TV services have all been restored.

The Domino is backed up with a 20kW Caterpillar whole house generator with automatic transfer switch and a small yet efficient rainwater cistern for the times that power or water is interrupted.

Domino Dreams was designed not from the ground up but from the roof deck down with the vision and concept to optimize the staggering 360 views and island breezes that surround you. The tour of the home really must begin at the very top ~ the roof deck, Domino’s standout and recognizable feature.
The spacious roof deck will allow you to see the Atlantic Ocean, Long Bay and Bita Bay beaches, Sea of Abaco, Inner White Sound, other surrounding bodies of water and neighboring cays.
On the clearest of days even Bakers Bay on Great Guana Cay (over 10 miles away) can be seen. The stairwell leading up is enclosed and accessed via an easily opened hatch door.
The roof deck has comfortable and reclinable chaise lounge seating with Sunbrella cushions.
Directly below the roof deck is the master bedroom aka Suite Dreams.
This too is an experience all of its own. Perfect for that couple that would appreciate privacy from their kids or other occupants of the house. This special space has its own separate and private screened porch with a commanding view to the Atlantic Ocean just steps away. A hammock sways gently inviting you to take an island nap and a seating area with chairs and a table for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine overlooking beautiful Long Bay.
Open up the double French doors, the windows and enjoy the refreshing, soothing salty air. Let the sound of the ocean lull you to sleep. There is an individually controlled mini split air conditioning unit for your sleeping comfort as well.
Other features of the Suite Dreams level are the en-suite bathroom with a shabby chic double vanity and linen cabinet, the new king bed dressed in quality bed linens, a cozy reading chair to curl up in, retro mini fridge, microwave and coffee station. You won't have to tiptoe downstairs for that middle of the night drink of water or first cup of morning coffee.
You can face the day at your own pace in Suite Dreams.
There is a 40” smart TV/DVD set up with Direct TV and a strong WiFi connection for streaming services.

Domino’s main level has an open concept space with high vaulted ceilings that holds the fully equipped kitchen and living area. There is a remote controlled AC unit that supports this area yet the house is situated to catch all those delicious island breezes. The living area has a 50” wall mounted smart TV equipped with Direct TV/streaming services.
The leather couch pulls out to a queen bed to sleep 2.
Double French doors lead out to a spacious screened porch on main level adjacent to an open air deck.
There is a Weber grill (propane tank provided) to cook your catch of the day or the fish and lobsters that can be bought locally.
The screened porch has comfortable seating and a round glass top and rattan dining table for optimal enjoyment.
The main level bedroom is comfortable and roomy with a queen bed and your own individually controlled AC unit. The main level bathroom is adjacent and fully stocked with bath, beach towels and hair dryer.
The house is equipped on all levels with Starlink Wi-Fi.
Washer/dryer is available so travel light and avoid additional baggage fees.
The kitchen is equipped with a Big Berkey water filtering system for freshly filtered and safe drinking water.
Our hot/cold outdoor shower down on the ground level comes equipped with a rain shower head and a private convenient space to wash off the salt and the sand. It has a changing room too. This is especially enjoyed as a hot early am start to the day.
There is also a foot shower at the base of the house stairs as you make your way back from the nearby beaches.
Our rainwater drum catches water from heaven and is piped to run throughout the house as a full backup to town water.

Coral Lakes is a suburb that's located in the western district of Nassau. This neighborhood family oriented and quiet. We boast of over 2 miles of unspoiled Lake that's ideal for family or personal recreation.

Public transportation is available from 6am to 6pm. parking is available with my listing. pick up and drop off from the airport is available at a small cost.

We provide transportation services to the casino, shopping, straw market, Atlantis, site seeing, etc. For a small fee.

We try very hard to keep all the extras in the cottage. Beach towels, snorkel gear, etc. Unfortunately, guests break or take items and do not tell us and replacement on short notice is not always possible on an underdeveloped island. We have removed items from amenities due to the logistical problem and some guests not understanding items may not be able to be replace overnight. We will continue to try to keep the extras in the house and you are welcome to use any item there.

Originally built in 1828, Culmer Cottage was restored into a modern sea side home. It is close to groceries, restaurants, and the fishing dock. Its central location on the island permits easy access north or south.
My cottage is fully equipped including beach towels and chairs, and a full kitchen. Ceiling fans in all rooms. Both bedrooms are air conditioned.
Tarpum Bay is safe and quaint. By choosing to rent in a settlement, you will interact with some of the world's most friendly people.

The space
If you want night life and lots of shopping, Eleuthera is not for you, if you want peace and reflection, beautiful beaches, clear water with close reefs to explore, come and stay.

Welcome to Stone House! Located on a peaceful hillside estate with beautiful manicured gardens, this house is part of a collection of eight beautifully restored nineteenth-century properties.

The space
This lovingly restored 19th century cottage features natural oak floors and high ceilings. It is furnished with unique decorative pieces from around the world.

You enter Stone House through the kitchen area on the ground floor, which is well equipped and features a full-size stainless steel fridge and modern appliances. Off of the kitchen is a quaint dining area, which seats 4, and a comfortable reading area, with shelves of great books for choose from!

Just up a short flight of stairs is a large loft bedroom, with a queen size bed, a sitting area, and lovely high cathedral ceilings. There is also a full bathroom on the ground floor.

The master bedroom is accessed down a flight of stairs. It has a king bed and beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom with walk in shower.

Outside, Stone House features two large and lovely shaded porches, which have dining and sitting areas.
