Yandina Creek · Acreage hinterland retreat 10min from Coolum beach
RV Rental
Yandina Creek, Queensland, Australia

Experience the quiet, private & peaceful tranquillity of the magnificent bushland surrounding Yandina Creek. This truly unique house is on large acreage & only 10mins to Coolum Beach! Enjoy the best of the Coast's country AND beaches. This 2 bdr, double ensuite retreat is a hidden oasis & also completely off-grid. There's a dam where you can swim & fish + walking trails to explore. Birds, wallabies & kangaroos are frequent visitors. Come away to the peace & quiet, enjoy the view, and relax.

Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Enjoy all the Sunshine Coast has to offer outside of the everyday hustle and bustle. Wake up to the sounds of nature and head to the beach for a morning swim and coffee. You'll make it to the sand in under 10 minutes!

This space includes 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds and ensuites. The master bedroom has a stunning outlook over the valley and the front gardens of the property. It also has a bar fridge and office space to get those last-minute work tasks out of the way so you can focus on your holiday.

The house has a large front deck perfect for entertaining and relaxing with a drink in hand. The view is breathtaking and Coolum beach is even in view! You could sit and enjoy it all day.

For meals and cooking, you have access to a small kitchen with a stovetop and conventional oven. The kitchen in some ways is limited for cooking. The best cooking, however, is done on the deck using the Webber BBQ.

The living room is cosy with only 2 seats, and includes a TV and sound system.

There is also an outside laundry with a washing machine and clothesline.

Some of the best parts of this stay can be enjoyed outside, around the property. The is a large dam for swimming or fishing. Cast off from the deck on the edge of the water if you want to try your luck fishing, or use the steps to get in for a swim. Or you can even just pull up a towel, a cheese board and a bottle of wine to sit by the water and enjoy the serenity.

There is plenty of space and trails to use to go walking. From the top of the driveway, head to your right and explore the property and surrounding bushland.

This house treads lightly in a number of ways and not for everyone. Its located in bushland and as much as you get away from all the hustle the bush comes with a few bugs. The property does not provide all the luxuries of a modern house close to the beach. The kitchen is limited for cooking and best to cook on the webber bbq.

It is off grid and completely without mains power and relies on solar and batteries with a generator if required. If you are an energy guzzler maybe this is not for you.
Likewise it supplies its own rainwater for drinking and washing and dam water for the toilets and the garden.

The best way to experience the Sunshine Coast from here is having your own vehicle. There is plenty of parking under the deck or up the side of the house. If you have visitors they can pull up behind the house.

During your stay the house will be your own. You can let yourself in and enjoy the stay. However we are available whenever you need it, just give us a call.

The owner Ian, lives on the edge of the property in his own space. You may see him up and down the main driveway to get to and from his house, however he respects your privacy and wont be travelling up to the main house unless you need him.

This property is all about wide-open spaces, no neighbours, no street lights, and no noise! It's also only 10 minutes to Coolum and 20 minutes to Noosa.

You are completely immersed in some of the best nature, so close to the beach. You can't see any of the neighboring houses. Enjoy the tranquility for yourself.

The best option is to have your own car or a hire car. Taxis and Ubers will take you into Coolum and Noosa of you do need them. Buses do not service this area.

This retreat is not suitable for young kids, as there is no fencing around the dam. You are welcome to use the dam at your pleasure to swim or fish. Keep in mind your swimming ability - use it at your own risk.

Please be careful when using the fire as pieces may fall out and damage the floor. Keep your fires small as it is not designed for big logs and raging fires. Please do not leave the fire unattended or go to bed with a fire still happening.
Some firewood is available but you can also purchase at the hardware stores or some service stations.

Being an off grid house the property runs of solar and stored batteries. If there is rain or clouds for a lengthy amount of time you may need to turn on the generator.
Smoking is allowed on the deck and around the property only. No smoking is allowed in the house itself.
Please remove all cigarette butts and trays. If there is any sign of smoking in the house or butts left around the property we will keep part of your security deposit.
