The lounge has a lovely sofa, chase lounge, dining table, TV and a electric fire place. This fire place allows you to have the full ambience of a wood fire but with the added bonus that it can be used in the warmer months with out heat if desired.

The bathroom is on the ground level, consisting of a toilet and shower. (no bath or spa)

Upstairs is the bedroom with king bed, writing desk, side tables, occasional tables and chairs, very large built in wardrobe and TV/DVD. This beautifully decorated bedroom is very roomy with lovely views over the property.

With Cuddle Cottage being situated on Western Ave just 1klm from Montville Village, you have so many attractions right at your front door. Magnolia Cottage is a charming, rustic timber cottage offering the true feel of the country yet so close to the quaint country towns of Cooroy, Eumundi and Pomona, just 15 minutes from Noosaville and the Gympie Tce river/restaurant precinct and another 5 minutes to the glitz of Noosa’s Hastings Street and Main Beach.

The cottage offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is separated from the The Stables (also listed on HomeAway) by a tranquil courtyard with fountain.

Magnolia Cottage is situated on 2 acres of lovely gardens with views across our lily filled dam and rope suspension bridge, to the mountain beyond.

Our cottage has been furnished to provide a relaxed home away from home feel with added luxurious touches.

The space: Magnolia Cottage has everything to ensure your family and your pet have a great time.
It is a "real" home, from the swing rope over the dam to the fire pit, and is newly refurbished including most appliances.

Downstairs: Open plan kitchen with gas cooktop, dining area and living room (with 50” LED TV, DVD and usb compatible soundbar) opening onto entertaining deck with glorious views and Weber BBQ.
The wide and shady veranda has gates at both ends, offering a secure space for most dogs. The garden between the cottage and dam is fenced (combination wire and timber). The dam itself is not fenced, and the property may not be suitable for very young children. Please contact us for further details if you have any concerns.

All the bedrooms except the bunk beds (fan only) have air conditioning.

Guest access: Includes all of Magnolia Cottage (with the exception of a locked storeroom and cupboard downstairs), and the 2 acres of gardens.

The Stables is a separate residence (also listed on HomeAway) separated by the fountain courtyard and gate.

Other things to note: Magnolia Cottage is a rural property and on tank water, with a filtration system providing drinking water, and a septic system. There is plenty of kindling and fire wood on the property, but please check the current fire warnings and restrictions at the time of your stay before using the fire pit.

Very relaxing stay and would definitely visit again. We did run into some problems with one of our cars however not being able to get up the driveway- the 4WD had no trouble however our Mazda sedan couldn’t climb the steep, loose gravel driveway and if it weren’t for the fantastic, lovely neighbours up the road coming to our rescue and allowing us to use their yard and driveway we could have been facing an expensive tow. All in all though, a wonderful weekend break away."

Potters Place is a country-style cottage uniquely positioned in the heart of the Montville Historical center behind Memorial Close. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, suits up to a family of five. Situated on a very secluded, private acreage balanced on the escarpment’s edge (Razorback), Potters self-contained accommodation has breathtaking ocean and hinterland views directly in the middle of all the cafes, shops, art galleries and restaurants of Montville.

While Potters place does not offer the most modern house, but will offer a unique experience in a house full of character with history. On New Year’s Day 1897, ten Salvationists from Nambour rode to Razorback to lend support to local Salvationists, it was decided to open an outpost at Razorback ( where Potters Place is Currently). Wooden barracks were constructed at a cost of £28.00 using timber donated by a local sawmiller. This first Church in the district was used by all denominations. After a cyclone destroyed the barracks in 1903, services continued in the Hall which had just been completed. The block was purchased by George and Olive Carpenter in 1959 for £10.00. At the time it was a steep, tangled wilderness of lantana with wild sunflower completely covering generations of rubbish from the blacksmithy across the street. Today the home that the Carpenters built in 1974 is now called Potters Place and welcomes quests hoping share its history and beautiful location with everyone. The name Potters Place comes from the existing pottery business that existed several decades ago - remnants of funky pottery scattered around the property.

Tara Hill Cottage is located on a 10-acre property with a couple of cows, chooks, a delightful vege garden and our resident Golden Retriever, Daph. It’s where you can do everything, do nothing, or something in between.

Ideal for couples and families, the cottage is newly built and immaculate inside and out. We offer two bedrooms, with the main bedroom having a queen bed, ensuite and built-in robe, and the second bedroom with two singles and built-in robe. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove top, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. While this is a self-catering stay, we offer our guests local Yandina “Pioneer Roastery” coffee, a variety of teas, milk, a few other essentials and fresh herbs at the back door. The deck has a gas BBQ and seating for 4. The property has reverse cycle air-conditioning to keep you cool in the summer months and warm in winter with fans in the living area and bedrooms. There is a washing machine and clothes rack. At the moment there is no dryer, however, I am happy to dry items if needed. We have Optus Wi-Fi, a smart android TV and a portable speaker. Our house is conveniently located 100 metres from Tara Hill Cottage should you need anything at all; however, we completely respect your privacy. You will need to provide your own cot and highchair for infants and toddlers as these are not currently available. Please note that we are not able to accommodate pets.

The farm stay has a truly beautiful saltwater waterfall infinity pool with spectacular views.

The Noosa Trails System is right at the entrance of the property and connects with over 400 km of purpose built trails wonderful for walking, bird watching and mountain biking. Sweeping views of the coast and ocean and the sentinel mountain of Mount Pinbarren National Park can be seen from most of the property and wildlife abounds. We provide you with Noosa Trail Map and a flashlight for nature spotting a night.

We invite you to join in with the daily feeding of the farm animals, collect eggs from the hen house.

The Melbourne Tram is dog friendly and suitable for 1 dog to stay. The Tram is securely fenced so your doggy will be secure to freely wander the living spaces but there is no yard in this area so your doggy will need to be walked. We ask that you keep your dog on leash when on the property.

The space
This Historic W Class Tram number 1004 was built in 1955 and ran the iconic St Kilda line until it was retired in 1992. With the assistance and guidance of Bendigo Tramways and the Newport Workshops, this tram has been lovely restored & is now fitted out in 1st class Railway saloon car style with overstuffed Victorian brocade couch, high backed claw foot bath tub, 1920's inlaid wooden bed and gentleman's wardrobe. The tram has a mahogany butlers kitchen and the toilet is located in the conductors cabin complete with driver's wheel.

A bottle of French Bubbly will be waiting for you in the fridge.

A quintessential farm workers cottage and barn renovated to an exceptionally high standard with a modern barn extension, for use as a holiday home set in 24 acres of peaceful rolling hills, close to the township of Cooroy & only 20 mins from the stunning beaches of Noosa Shire.

Sleeping up to 8 guests it is ideal for families or close friends to escape to the country and just relax & enjoy both the serenity of the farm but also enjoy the many activities that the Noosa Hinterland offers.

As a family we enjoy the beach during the summer and sitting around a fire in winter so 4 years ago we went searching for a property that we could all spend time together.

We found a little tired cottage sitting in 24 acres of an old dairy farm, high on a hill that offered the most spectacular views and was only 20 mins to the beach.

We bought it that day and have spent those last 4 years renovating the home and building a modern barn to an extremely high standard, each completed self contained with two bedrooms, with quality fixtures and fittings, built fire pits, an outdoor cinema, become proud owners of Highland cows, ducks, chickens, bees and planted orchards but we have been very careful not to lose the authentic feel of a working country home that we found so appealing the first time we set eyes on the property.

We plan to continue to improve Thirlestane in the coming years with the addition of a pool and further eco-cottages set around the farm, but for the time being we're just delighted to have found this wee jewel in the middle of the most beautiful countryside.

This quaint 2 bedroom cottage is both unique and full of warmth and character. The charm and beauty of the cottage shouldn't overshadow the fact that its only a 2 minute walk from the stunning Pumicestone Passage. Whether you want to walk, swim, ride, paddle, relax or simply take in the sunrise and views over the Passage, this location gives you every option.

The Golden Beach shopping complex is only 400 metres away, so coffee, cake, cafes, groceries, restaurants, are all a short stroll away. We are on the bus route if you want to catch the bus to go into Caloundra, or locations further afield.

The Bedrooms are air conditioned with overhead fans in the lounge and second bedroom.

The house has a laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.

The house is divided into two separate dwellings, each with their own private entrance with a shared laundry. The owners live in a separate dwelling (with a shared rear wall) at the rear of the property. They have their own entrance, garden etc and apart from the laundry are separate and private from both you and the cottage.

Parking is on the street in front of the cottage. Carport is not accessible to guests.

Guests have the entire cottage, front verandah, front yard, for their sole and complete access. You have your own separate entrance (front door of the cottage) and have all of this space to yourselves.

- "Upon arrival, the cottage was presented as per the photos. The beds are super comfy, the cottage was very clean with lots of books and games to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was a bit annoying is the property is located on a main street and the front bedroom can be a bit noisy. This may not be an issue if you are staying during the weekend, however, during the week the traffic noise can be disruptive to sleep. Recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper."

- "Perfect getaway for Us Ladies to Relax" - "The accommodation was adequate but is in Rosemount not Bli Bli, as advertised. Definitely more country feel than beach. It was extremely hot during our stay and there was a huge number of mozzies and flies. Both cabins are air conditioned and have ceiling fans which was very much needed. There is a paddock for dogs to be off leash but unfortunately for us, it is not fully fenced. The yards are quite small so probably best suited to smaller dogs. The studio unit was perfect for my elderly mother. As I said, it was adequate but not the kind of place I’d go back to. If you want quite, country feel with nothing to do close by, it’s perfect."

Into the Woods is a cozy, fully-equipped couples' retreat set in the heart of the hinterland, offering everything you need for a memorable getaway. Roast marshmallows by the outdoor fire pit and soak under the stars, make your own wood-fired pizzas or drink a wine at sunset overlooking the dam and stables.

The cottage has a full fledged kitchen including a Nespresso machine for your daily coffee fix. We offer a starter pack for breakfast which includes tea, Nespresso cups, small milk, local honey, butter, eggs, sugar, and a seasonal treat. Do let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will accommodate this. We offer a gas cooktop, Our Place Wonder Oven, outdoor wood fire pizza oven and gas Weber BBQ (Note: we do not offer a microwave). We provide all the necessary equipment to make your own home-made pizzas with the exception of the firewood.

The living area includes a linen sofa, which is perfect to relax on. You can access Netflix through the Smart TV or read a book. We offer a four person dining table where you can also play games or do some work if needed.

The bedroom has a comfortable four poster canopy bed with premium linen and lush garden views. The cottage has air-conditioning and fans to keep cool during the warmer months. An additional duvet is also offered during the cooler months if required. The bedroom connects to the bathroom which includes a full size mirror, river stone basin and shower.

Two outdoor seating areas are exclusively available for our guests. One of the outdoor seating areas includes a fireplace, adirondack lounge chairs and a hand-made outdoor bath tub. The outdoor bath tub includes both hot and cold water for all seasons and comfortably fits two people. The other outdoor seating area overlooks the dam and includes a wood-fired pizza oven and gas Weber BBQ. Make sure you look up at night as the sky is often covered in stars!

We offer a package of firewood which includes a lighter, firelighters, marshmallows, marshmallow forks and firewood. If you would like more firewood during your stay, you can purchase this at $20 per bag.

Guests have full access to the entire cottage and its surroundings including the scenic dam. The outdoor areas, including the fire pit, wood-fired pizza oven, and handmade outdoor bath, are exclusively for your use. Enjoy complete privacy and seclusion during your stay.

Into the Woods is close to several cute villages (Palmwoods - 5 minute drive; Montville - 10 minute drive; Maleny - 25 minute drive) where you can shop locally. Put on your hiking boots with Kondalilla Falls a 15 min drive away. Or if you get tired of the rolling hills, you can escape to the seaside to Mooloolaba (25 min drive). You can of course venture further, experience Noosa within 45 mins.

We are spoiled for choice in the hinterland but we have a few treasures only a 5 min drive away in Palmwoods which you won't want to miss. Our favourite brunch spot close by is Homegrown Cafe. This cafe is set in a beautiful garden with simple, home made produce. Make sure you try the eggs in spiced beans with goats cheese and coriander. Looking to have some drinks? Check out Ricks in Palmwoods for a unique experience. A transformed garage with retro memorabilia, its own whisky bar and yummy burgers. We also love The Shed, a bank of rustic old railways sheds where you can browse an extensive range of vintage treasures. Enjoy a drink or some nibbles as you watch the trains go by.

Into the Woods is less than 5km from the Palmwoods train station (6 minute drive). There are direct trains from Brisbane to Palmwoods. We can pick you up at the train station if needed. Sunshine Coast Airport is less than 25km from the cottage (22 minute drive).

We do however highly recommend having a car to enjoy the beautiful hinterland. We offer free parking in front of the cottage. Please bear in mind that this is not a covered parking space. We have a covered parking space a two minute walk from the cottage if preferred. We have plenty of space to park a trailer for surfboards canoes, mountain bikes or a boat if needed.

- Privacy: You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, though we live next door in a separate dwelling.
- Amenities: All amenities are listed; if something is not mentioned (e.g microwave, iron, or iron board), we do not provide it.
- Pet: We have a friendly dog who loves attention. He’ll be kept on a leash and away from the cottage if you’re not a dog fan.
- Nature: The property is surrounded by natural bushland, and you may encounter insects or reptiles (e.g spiders and snakes). We have a snake repeller near the dam and recommend wearing enclosed shoes when walking.
- Wildlife Sounds: Expect occasional distant sounds of cars and motorbikes, but mostly the peaceful calls of birds and frogs.
- Outdoor Fire: We provide firewood, fire starters, and marshmallow forks for your outdoor fire. Extra firewood can be purchased for $20 per bag.
- Septic System: Please be mindful of the products you use as we have a septic system.
- Mobile Reception: Telstra offers reliable mobile reception; other networks may be limited. Free WiFi is provided.
- Children: No children are allowed due to the dam on the property. We are happy to accommodate infants (under 1 year old), provided you bring your own baby gear (crib, blanket, etc.).

A lovely newly built cottage on acreage 15 mins from Noosa

This cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a really large living area with a reading nook, and a modern galley style kitchen.

Big wrap around verandas at the front and the rear of the cottage, the rear balcony is fully enclosed with a cat net so your pets are safe if they want to sit outside.

The cottage cannot be seen from the main residence so it very private.

Design was at the forefront of our concept for The Postman's Cottage, with every single element of the space created for you to appreciate and enjoy. You will notice there is no television, this has been purposefully left out to encourage connection and true relaxation with your companion, or self. Grab a book, play a game, light the fire, enjoy a walk around the grounds with a shared magnesium pool or explore the quaint tourist township of Montville and Sunshine Coast Hinterland beyond.

Your quarters are appointed with luxurious king bed and ensuite, plus bed linen and towels by Cultiver. Hair and body products by Salus. We stock a basic pantry which includes ground coffee beans, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil. Guests find it hard to leave once they arrive, so we recommend you stop by Maleny or other major centre enroute, or swing past the petite local IGA on your way, don’t forget to pick up your milk of choice, if you take it. Amenities in our kitchen include a Bosch electric stove and compact oven with microwave, a bar fridge, kettle, and toaster. We also have a plunger coffee maker for the caffeine addicts to enjoy with our favourite local and organic brew, Montville Coffee.

Guest Access:
Guests have full and private access to the cottage and shared access to the grounds and magnesium pool. Parking for one car in the carport.

The Neighborhood:
Montville is charming hub in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and a destination for locals and tourists alike. It is vibrant during the day with speciality shops and cafes aplenty. We are surrounded by local wineries, hatted restaurants as well as casual but delicious eateries. We are also lucky to be in amongst some of Australia's most spectacular national parks, with landmarks including Kondalilla Falls, Lake Baroon and The Great Walk. The ocean is a short 30 min drive away, Noosa just 50 minutes north, with many gorgeous hinterland towns along the way.

Getting Around:
We highly recommend having a car if you are planning on exploring the surrounds. However if you're looking to relax and simply walk into town, The Postman's Cottage is perfectly located at the back of the village.

Only 300m from the town centre (home of the famous Eumundi Markets), and just a short 20 minute drive to Noosa, but you would never know it! Overlooking a dam and surrounded by trees & wildlife, the peaceful sounds of nature make it the perfect place to unwind, relax & reconnect...Watch the wallabies graze in the afternoon from the outdoor bath or fire pit, or cosy up next to the indoor fireplace with a good book…

The space
Yutori cottage has been built using mostly recycled materials, creating a unique & cosy space for you to enjoy. With sustainability a large focus for the cottage, we have reduced the amount of single use plastics as much as possible. We also provide a compost & recycling bin to encourage you to minimise waste. Supporting the local community is also very important to us, therefore we source local products for you to use during your stay where possible.

This is a small cottage with a loft style bedroom, which is accessed via steep stairs. We love this space as it creates such a cosy atmosphere… However this may not be for everyone as there isn’t enough ceiling space to stand up in the bedroom, and there is only a low railing along the edge of the loft. If you don’t feel comfortable sleeping in this space, we do also have a double sofa bed in the living room as another option.

Feel free to make use of the herb garden during your stay!

There is a smart TV located in the loft bedroom with access to Netflix, Stan, Binge, Disney+ etc. Perfect for those rainy nights…

Firewood is provided for both the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace for those chilly winter evenings… however please note we only provide approx 1 bag of mixed firewood/kindling, but any additional firewood you require during your stay will need to be purchased yourself - feel free to bring this along with you, or if you want to wait and see if you need any extra there is a service station approx 10 mins drive away that sells firewood & kindling.

The cottage is located on the far end of our property, next to the main house. However, there is very tall hedging between the two dwellings so that you have complete privacy. You will also have your own parking space and walkway to the cottage.

Other things to note
The kitchen does not have an oven or microwave, but there is a gas stove and an air fryer for your all your cooking needs. Please note - due to the nature of the build, we do not have fly screens on the windows/door. However, we do provide a natural mosquito repellant spray, and natural mosquito coils for you to use if required when sitting outside. We also have a portable fan in the loft bedroom which helps to keep any mosquitoes away during the night.

Fletchers Ridge is a private and fully self-contained eco cabin surrounded by a cottage garden, with stunning hinterland views across the Obi Obi Valley. You'll find plenty of entertainment - games, Foxtel, Netflix as well as other streaming apps on your Smart TV.
We are less than a kilometre drive away from the delightful and quaint Montville Township.

The space
Inside the space is a completely self contained, open plan, 1 bedroom unit with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room, separate dining area, laundry and the ultimate master bedroom. Which boasts a stunning bathroom with large rain shower head, his and hers wardrobes, a luxurious king size bed and a beautiful free standing cast iron bath, situated perfectly so you can relax and soak in the view. Finally, the space extends out onto the full length, undercover timber deck so that you can enjoy the serene valley views any time of day from multiple seating areas and the large daybed.

Please Note: The cabin is situated at the end of the 100m long driveway with direct access off the main road, Flaxton Drive. Being mountainside it is very steep so please proceed with caution on arrival and head straight past the main house down the driveway on your right.

Guests will have exclusive use of the cabin, small lawn in front of thebalcony and the surrounding gardens. Parking is spacious. The driveway is steep in parts and some of it is gravel, however, we have had all kinds of vehicles, old and new, handle it with no issues.
There are no Ubers in the area and a Taxi would probably need to be booked well in advance.

Other things to note
Telstra mobile reception is limited - some guests have reported no reception at all and others have been able to receive/make calls. You can get normal Telstra reception from the main road entrance to our property.
There are no issues with Optus, and other carriers are also ok as far as we are aware.
