- "The hotel is good and the front desk staff were very helpful. The decor is a little dated, but the room was spacious and so was the bathroom. The only disappointment that I had was the discrimination by the liquor shop staff against foreign visitors trying to get a drink. The property owners should remove the family running this off license as they are rude (especially the women owner) and make it impossible to get a liquor license. I would recommend foreign visitors to chose a different hotel if they want a drink in Ahmedabad. Just because of this, I wouldn’t stay again."

The Lemon Tree staff seem to have a good working environment here and we peeped in on their Republic Day celebrations where everyone was having a good time - good to see rewards for staff too.
