- "Lovely Victorian home that is charmingly decorated. Our bedroom was the Jessica room and was very comfortable. There were very pleasant common areas, a nice three season porch, a living room, and parlor with a pool table. Also the dining room has a lovely dining table that can accommodate most of the guests in one sitting and we had a nice time chatting and getting to know the other visitors over breakfast. Our host served a fabulous breakfast, sausage, waffles, three fruit toppings, and real whipped cream! She was very friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and considered it a great value."

- "Knowing this was a newer listing, we weren’t exactly sure what to expect on arrival. However, once we were there, we loved every aspect! Plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. Inside: Open kitchen, dining area and family room was extremely functional for multiple people all enjoying time together. Each room had its own individual temperature control, which was beneficial for the wide range of needs for our family. Every comfort was attended to inside, including TVs in all rooms with plenty of viewing options for all ages. Outside: Multiple areas to relax and have some fun. Large fenced in yard so dog could run freely, flat for yard games and separate living space with pool table which made for relaxing escape. A bunch of nice touches for kids and adults alike. But our favorite was the peacefulness of the property as boat traffic was minimal, view was great, used the dock a number of times to tie up and take a break from being on the lakes with 24’ pontoon, fire-pit was out near water and very spacious. There were a few things that owner was still working on but that’s to be expected and is actually appreciated as they continue to upgrade the experience. Communication with owner was exceptional. Obviously, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and would highly recommend !"

Our 2021 Mallard by Heartland M180BH RV sleeps 4, it has an indoor shower/tub, kitchen has microwave, electric stove, sink and refrigerator with doodle station, corian countertops and silver and plasticware, cups, mugs and coffee maker included, dining set that folds into a sleeping area. One full queen size folding bed that turns into a couch and two full sized bunk beds. AC unit, electric heat, plenty of storage and lighting throughout, AM/FM radio with bluetooth, USB and HDMI ports, hydraulic awning and hitch lock systems. Propane tanks and gas hookup in unit, outside lights, party center with small fridge, sink and countertops located on the exterior of the unit and an extra outside shower provided on the exterior of the RV.

This home lacks for nothing. Six + seat lower level bar, (former bar from the world famous Cubby Bear in Chicago), full size Brunswick pool table, 50 inch TV, full size fridge, dishwasher, full bathroom and plenty of seating and gathering room.
The main floor boasts a wide open floor plan with a 55 inch TV, stone gas fireplace, plenty of seating, dining room that seats 8, large granite kitchen counters, and a wetbar. There's also a beautiful four season sun room with floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors that can be opened up to give the room an open porch feel. There's a giant foyer entrance, a powder room and a large mud room where shoes and coats and gear can be kept. There's also a spacious laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs are four roomy bedrooms and two full baths. The master suite has large windows with lake views, a stone gas fireplace, a 40 inch TV, and a large bathroom with double sinks and huge walk in shower! Two of the other three bedrooms have magnificent lake views. The third full bathroom has double sinks also.
The lower level has a beautiful bar that includes a full size fridge, dishwasher, sink and tons of bar space, counter space, cabinets and a great view of the lake. There's also a full size Brunswick pool table, Couches, 50'' TV, day bed that sleeps two and a full bath!
In the warmer months there is a pier on beautiful Lake Antioch with cozy adirondack chairs perfect for fishing, or enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. The new firepit is great for evening gatherings.
The huge 20x40 deck has a spectacular view over the lake and is perfect for relaxing outside or even hosting a game of corn hole!

The location was perfect and very close to one of the Marina's where our boat was docked. The large deck was also a nice feature to be able to sit outside with all our family. - "We needed a pet friendly place to stay for funeral. Rental was neat and clean and met our needs for two nights we were there. There were a few things that could be improved in this price range. There are no smart tv ‘s or cable and antenna went out often. Water had strong sulfur smell and beds were not the most comfortable. However, the home was very clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t really use kitchen or outdoor water area but they looked well appointed. So grateful we found somewhere so clean and quiet on fairly short notice."

Stunning Lakefront Retreat! Relax and enjoy all the area offers for both summer and winter activities-Wilmot Ski Mountain nearby!!! The location is perfect being close to Chicago, Milwaukee, and many quaint towns in the area with great places to eat, fun festivals, and of course, a boating paradise!!!

There is amazing seasonal bird watching all around the lake. In the spring, keep an eye out for the pelicans. In the winter, the eagles are everywhere. It's a sight to see!

If you are a fisherman, this is the place to be. Great fishing all year round. The ice fishing is awesome, and you are fully equipped with an ice shanty! A can't beat-it scenario.

The Cozy Cottage sits atop the bluff overlooking Petite Lake. Full of cottage charm and gorgeous lake views, the cottage is just steps away from the beach. The comfortable living room provides plenty of seating for everyone to relax and enjoy after a long day in the lake. Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a small but mighty kitchen are equipped with all the essentials for a getaway.

The fully-fenced backyard overlooking the lake has a fire pit, grill, backyard games, picnic tables and hammocks. The hot tub is inside a covered gazebo. In the winter, it has thicker panels and in the summer it has netting. After a long day in the lake, camp out in the backyard with s'mores and a bonfire! You can bring your own firewood or purchase on site.

The comfortable living room is just off the the dining area. With 3 floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, the views of the lake are spectacular. This room has comfortable sofas and chairs that sit in front of a large flat-screen smart tv and electric fireplace. The French doors leading into this room can be closed and locked to create another private bedroom with a sleeper sofa, if desired.

Things to note:
*This cottage was built in the 40s. It's a blend of old cottage charm and new amenities. The house was lovingly called the "Cozy Crooked Cottage" until it was leveled as much as possible. While the lower level is renewed and the house is safe, the upstairs is still a bit wonky, so be prepared!

*We are in nature. Expect spiders, webs, ants, bees, mosquitoes or other usual lake house critters. You'll see lots of chipmunks, squirrels and bunnies around and wake up to the birds chirping, too!

*This is a pet friendly cottage! There is a fee of $50/pet for up to two dogs. We do not allow cats.

*Please only bring friendly, well-behaved dogs as this is a resort and other people may be around. Dogs may not be left alone, especially outside, in common areas, or in the cottage. If left alone in the cottage, a crate is mandatory.

*Pets must be kept on a leash when outside and they are not allowed on the beach or in shared spaces, unless everyone in that space is okay with it. As much as we might love dogs, not everyone does. Please be considerate of those with allergies or fears.

*Pick up after your pet every single time. Poop bags provided!

*The beach is accessed by a large set of outdoor stairs- about 35. See photos for reference.

*There are security cameras on the parking lot, beach and piers for safety and rental boat purposes. No cameras are on/in any of the rental units or outdoor yard spaces.

*The pier is made up of floating docks and can be wobbly when the lake is busy. The lake is very busy on the weekends and more calm on weekdays.

*The price is on a sliding scale. The base price is aimed to make the cottage more affordable for single families. There is a $10/night fee for guests beyond 7 to cover additional laundry, supplies, etc. We provide plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, cleaning supplies, beach towels, coffee (standard and k-cups), and all the kitchen essentials.

*There is a filtered water pitcher in the fridge. We recommend that you bring ice!

This charming and unique 400 square foot tiny house sleeps 5 and is loaded with amenities including a private hot tub. A full sized kitchen and bathroom make for a comfortable yet adventurous getaway. The Tiny House has a large sliding glass door that opens to your private back deck. The deck has a full size hot tub, patio set with an umbrella, and a gas grill. Propane is provided along with grilling tools. With the push of a button outside, you can turn on string lights that wrap around. You get glimpses of Petite Lake right from the privacy of your back deck!

Guests also have access to many free amenities: beach, piers, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, floats, water volleyball, and much more! HOT TUB RULES: Maximum of 4 guests at a time. Children should be accompanied by a parent at all times. Shower before use and wash hands with soap and water. No diving or jumping. No chemical use without host permission. Do not use alcohol or drugs before hot tub use. Elderly and pregnant women should consult doctor before use. Limit soak to 15 minutes and cool down before re-entry. Anyone with heart disease, high or low blood pressure, or any serious illness should consult with a doctor before use.

This vintage lakefront house is fully furnished and has window unit air conditioning units in each room and fireplace to keep you toasty warm in the winter. There is a queen bed in main bedroom, and two twin beds in the second bedroom. Spacious living room has a daybed with trundle. A smart tv and Wi-Fi will allow you to connect anywhere in the house. The kitchen includes all standard amenities: Refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dining table, Keurig, toaster, blender, dishwasher, ample counter space, pots & pans, and all utensils. Washer and dryer in the basement. The front yard has a fire pit and outdoor seating so you can sit back and soak in the panoramic view of the lake.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
High speed internet is available in and around the house. Five 2-person kayaks & six life jackets are available from May to October free of charge. To use the kayaks, please request a waiver form after booking the trip which will be emailed to you. Close by channels make for wonderful kayaking but please wear provided lifejackets for your safety. We highly recommend hard bottom swim socks or old gym shoes when swimming in the lake. For the firepit in the yard, the closest place to get firewood is at the landscape place on 173 in Antioch. Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort and Snow sledding hill is 10 minutes away. Richmond Hunting Club 11 minutes away. Gurnee Mills Outlet is 22 minutes away. Pleasant Prairie Premium outlets 18 minutes away. Antioch Shops and restaurants 8 minutes away. Chain O’Lakes State Park 9 minutes away.
