The heart of the shack is its open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, complete with a reverse cycle air conditioner. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: electric oven/hotplates, microwave and a coffee machine for that essential cappuccino to kickstart your day. Plus, find all the crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cookware you need to whip up tasty meals.

There are plenty of DVD's to watch on the flat screen TV or you can play a game on the PS4. Games, books and magazines are also there for your enjoyment.

The compact bathroom features a shower and toilet (no bath).

Please be aware that guests are required to bring their own linen, including quilts, sheets, pillows, towels, tea towels, bath mats, beach towels, and hand towels. Quilts are supplied for the bunk bed only.

Ardrossan is only 6km away and provides a fantastic 7 day supermarket, 2 hotels, hospital, service station, golf course, tennis courts, ATM, fabulous bakery, laundromat, police station and hardware store so any supplies you may need are only a short drive away.

Leisurely walks on the beach, reading, relaxing or exploring all that Yorke Peninsula has to offer - you can do it all at James Well. An ideal location for a summer beach holiday or cosy winter getaway.

Welcome and thanks for looking at my small but humble and comfortable little holiday home. Located at Rogues Point on the Yorke Peninsula being an easy drive from Adelaide, just metres from the ocean and a boat ramp at the end of our beach.
Ardrossan is only five minutes by car with two good hotels for a counter meal and a drink, the local Foodland has everything you will need along with a chemist, liquor and hardware store, butcher plus a bakery in town as well.

Our holiday home is small but cosy, featuring two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bathroom, kitchen with a side by side refrigerator and filtered water and ice maker, Nespresso coffee machine (please BYO coffee pods), an eat in dining area located to the side of the kitchen and a comfortable lounge area with a large flat screen TV. There is a reverse Cycle air con unit plus ceiling fans. Pillows, blankets, quilts towels and linen provided, car parking for four vehicles, outdoor BBQ plus dining setting overlooking the ocean available as well.

All guests are welcome to a complimentary late check out during off peak times (please confirm with owner), trained responsible pets allowed.

Relaxing time

Relax out on the front deck drinking your morning beverage at the 2 seater table to soak up the morning sunshine.
In the afternoons sit under the back veranda enjoying a quiet drink overlooking the back gardens where there is room for the kids to play.
Cook out on the BBQ in the shade house.
A few minutes walk to the beach which is known for crabbing. Or take a short 5 minute drive to Ardrossan to fish off the jetty.

Tiddy Widdy is only 45 minutes to Moonta water park, great fun for the kiddies.

Pet Friendly

The Love Shack is Pet Friendly - Fully enclosed back yard to keep your pets safe. Please keep your furry family members outside of the house at all times. Pets are allowed and encouraged to sleep in the utility room either in the bed provided or bring your own. If we suspect pets have been inside your security deposit will not be refunded. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

Linen - Please bring your own bed linen (sheets, quilt cover and pillow cases), towels, bath mats etc.
We provide pillows and quilts, which you will find in the cupboards of the two main bedrooms with a couple of blankets too.

Ardrossan township has 2 hotels, 7 day full supermarket, 2 fuel outlets, butcher, baker 3 takeaway food stores and 2 coffee shops. Ardrossan Hospital provides emergency services and a medical practice and dentist operate in the township.

Ardrossan has a twin all weather concrete boat ramp and renowned crabbing and fishing beaches. Famous for snapper (in season) at The Barge GPS spot.

Great dog walking along off-lead beaches with shallow tidal pools exposed at low tide – it feels like you can walk along beachcombing for hours without seeing another soul.

Ardrossan is only five minutes by car with a local Foodland has everything you will need along with a chemist, pubs, liquor and hardware store, butcher plus a bakery in town as well.
Our holiday home is small but cosy, featuring three bedrooms with double size beds, one bathroom and 2 toilets, eat in dining area located to the side of the kitchen and a comfortable lounge area with a flat screen TV also has UNLIMITED WI-FI. There is a reverse Cycle air con unit plus ceiling fans in all the bedrooms ,pillows, blankets, quilts towels and linen provided, lots of car parking spaces out the front and one car parking space on the driveway, also has an outdoor BBQ.
All guests are welcome to a complimentary late check out during off peak times (please confirm with us).

SEAVIEW RETREAT is a modern 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 11 guests, only a short drive to the beach. Sea glimpses from the upstairs bedroom.

- "We were very happy with our stay. The accommodation was spaciuos and clean. We had three bedrooms, three toilets and two bathrooms. The kitchen was well appointed.We did have some issues.We had a bbq and the gas ran out half way through, so we had to cook inside, and the bbq wasn't clean.The main bedroom only had a venetian blind on the window facing the street and there was a street light directly across the road and it was very bright in the bedroom all night. We had trouble sleeping it really needs a blockout curtain."
