- "I throughly enjoyed my stay at Progress Country and Wine house. The property was beautiful, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and the rooms were styled nicely and comfortable. They provided transportation to Marco Polo Airport for $150 since it is about an hour away. The only thing preventing me from giving this property 5 stars was that I was traveling alone visiting a friend in Italy for 4 nights who lived nearby. She stayed over in the room as my guest for one of the 4 nights and the manager called me to the front desk and had me pay a fee for having a guest spend one night! There was no notification on either Expedia or when I checked in that I would need to pay for an additional person to stay in the room for one night. I think this property should be upfront with their guests so that they aren’t charged extra fees for having a guest. She did have breakfast with me in the morning and I did not mind paying the breakfast fee, but for a guest to stay one night… it made me feel like maybe I was getting scammed because I’m not from the country. If I visit Asolo again as a solo traveler, I might consider staying somewhere else due to lack of transparency with guests. But the property was really nice and an easy walk to the City Center."

- "Ontvangst was prima. Het zijn unieke appartementen." - "De accommodatie is prachtig!!! Onze 3 kinderen van 16, 14 en 7 hadden hun eigen woning en wij ook, wat soms wel prettig was. We werden goed ontvangen door de huiseigenaar Davide, ook het contact via email en telefonisch voor de aankomst met de huiseigenaar was super. Omgeving is prachtig met aan de ene kant uitzicht op de monte grappa en aan de andere kant de schuren, het bos en de dieren. Je krijgt er gratis een hond bij of meerdere en ik als niet echte honden liefhebber, vond ze wel erg leuk. Onze kinderen waren er gek mee. De slaapplekken boven met kingsize bedden zijn alleen toegankelijk via de houten ladder, deze raad ik niet aan oudere mensen aan, de bedden zijn super hoor. Beneden staat een slaapbank, ook daar kun je goed op slapen. De badkamer was prachtig, dat kon je helaas niet zien op de foto's, dus we hadden geen idee wat we aan zouden treffen!! Wij komen hier vast nog wel een keertje weer."

The villa sits in a quiet, hill-top location just an hour’s drive from Venice and within walking distance (20 minutes) of Asolo, where you can find artisan shops, restaurants, and sightseeing attractions. There are many hiking, biking, and horse-riding opportunities in the area and the art cities of Treviso, Padova, and Venice are within easy reach by car.

Villa Cosetta (300 sqm) develops over three levels and is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. It is surrounded by 12 acres of land and is accessed through an electric gate. There is a gardener who maintains the house and grounds, and behind the villa is another house that belongs to the same owner, but no one lives there.

The entrance on the ground floor leads into a large open-plan living room with a sitting area (with a working fireplace and comfortable seating) and a dining area (with table for 8). You will also find a well-equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom (with toilet).

Villa Barocca is a historic villa built in 1691 which stands on a plot in the slope below the ancient and famous Rocca of Asolo.

The villa is composed by four bodies: in the center, the main villa, on the sides two porticoed barchesse that were the old stables and barns and a chapel.

Villa Barocca is made precious by decorations that adorn the walls, stuccos and Venetian marmorino that give the villa a refined and elegant appearance.

As guests of Villa Barocca you will be able to organize, on request and at an additional cost, events and weddings.

VILLA COSETTA – ASOLO AREA

Located close to the village of Asolo in the Veneto area of Italy, Villa Cosetta is modern villa with a private swimming pool and lovely panoramic views of the countryside. The villa sits in a quiet, hill-top location just an hour’s drive from Venice and within walking distance (20 minutes) of Asolo, where you can find artisan shops, restaurants, and sightseeing attractions. There are many hiking, biking, and horse-riding opportunities in the area and the art cities of Treviso, Padova, and Venice are within easy reach by car.

Villa Cosetta (300 sqm) develops over three levels and is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. It is surrounded by 12 acres of land and is accessed through an electric gate. There is a gardener who maintains the house and grounds, and behind the villa is another house that belongs to the same owner, but no one lives there.

The entrance on the ground floor leads into a large open-plan living room with a sitting area (with a working fireplace and comfortable seating) and a dining area (with table for 8). You will also find a well-equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom (with toilet).

A staircase (16 steps) leads to the first floor, where you will find one double bedroom (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower), one double bedroom (with double bed), one bathroom (with shower) and a laundry room (with washing machine and dryer).
The master bedroom (with double bed) is on the second floor (15 steps) and has direct access to a private terrace and to the rear upper garden. Its ensuite bathroom features a Vincenza stone bath and a separate shower.

The three double beds each have two mattresses that can be fitted with separate linens.

Outside, you will find a large terrace with a lounge area (with tables, chairs and umbrellas), a shady outdoor dining area and a swimming pool which is illuminated by outdoor lighting at night (8m x 2m; depth 1.5m; open May - October; heated upon request). The pool is not gated so children between 1 and 7 years old are not admitted.

Villa Almirena sits on a peaceful hilltop overlooking the town of Asolo, which is around a 20-minute walk or five-minute drive away. This medieval town is home to many artisan shops where you can pick up examples of the crafts that Asolo is famous for; such as ceramics, fabrics and embroidery. There's also an antiques market on the second Sunday each month.

Throughout the town are restaurants offering delicious regional cuisine. Traditional trattorias serve the famous Venetian dish of sarde in saor; deep-fried sardines marinated in onions and vinegar, along with dishes made with other local ingredients.

Historic highlights in Asolo include the hilltop fortress of Rocca, Palazzo Pretorio and Villa di Maser. The latter is not just a beautiful villa, but also a long-established winery.

Other nearby towns and cities to visit to soak up history and culture are Treviso, Vicenza and Padova. Treviso boasts a cathedral with crypt, ancient city walls and gates, pretty piazzas and a network of canals to stroll along.
