Cute 2 bedroom detached Spanish style cottage with shared heated pool. Sleeps 4 adults. Joel is one of two outdoor cats I have and he hangs out here on the back porch. In total I have three small cottages on a oversized city lot with three private outdoor spaces and a heated pool everyone shares.

I live in one of the cottages.

The house was remodeled in 2024 and has 2 queen bedrooms with a second flat screen TV in one bedroom and desk for an office in the second. This cottage is at the front of the property and has its own private entrance and outdoor and covered patios. Finished to a high standard the 1931 cottage is just 1 block to Lucerne Avenue and two blocks to the main downtown district, Publix supermarket and Starbucks. You are less than a mile to the Lake Worth Public Beach on Palm Beach Island.

The cottage shares the pool with the Casita Azul (also on VRBO). All are on a large privacy fenced lot. There is ample free parking on the street with off street parking for one car. There are separate lounge and dining areas, separate gas BBQ grilles for each house and free separate laundry facilities.

The cottage has a full kitchen with gas stove, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. There is two large flat screen TVs with WiFi and Comcast cable package.

If you are into water sports, we highly recommend driving less than 10 minutes South to Boynton Beach where you can enjoy jet skiing, parasailing, and boat rentals. Our Garden Beach Cottage is unique because although it’s within walking distance to downtown & a bike ride from the beach, it’s very private with lush tropical gardens.
The space
You will find the kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a gourmet meal. However, there are many takeout delivery options. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Thee dining room table sits four and there’s a bar with two barstools. There are too smart TVs. . Although you have your own patio at your front door, there are other patios that are shared as well as the laundry room. There’s lots of beach stuff and two bikes that are shared. After a day at the beach, there is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water as well as a hose to wash everything off. The beach towels are in the laundry room and hooks to hang wet towels etc..

Once inside it is nice and they provide all the amenities that a hotel would. If you are looking for a simple place close to the beach, this is your spot. - "Great accommodations and wonderful owner!" - "The inside looks exactly like the pictures, and the host always replied to my messages. However, we did have a few issues. The fenced yard was messy with chairs and cushions all over, and there were 2 areas where the pavers were sinking into the ground. We did need our sheets changed due to sand-like material on the pillow and sheet. The AC was leaking, so we had to put a pan under it and continuously change it. Finally, the guests upstairs were walking around, dropping things and moving things around at all hours between 11pm-5am."

Gorgeous fully remodeled stand-alone independent cottage six blocks from Lake Ave. This cottage sits in the back of a house but has complete privacy and independence including a fully fenced-in patio.
