- "Accommodated us last minute, clean, friendly staff. Elevated out of service while there, being replaced, but we were told ahead of time and understand things have to be done. Not at all left in disrepair. Love Sanibel Inn!" - "This resort was small but quaint. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful and the perfect size for my family, also very clean. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly and cleaned well. The pool was small and usually crowded as was the bar area and they did run out of towels, lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach but we eventually got them. They offered bikes, paddle boats and kyaks free which was great. The beach was wonderful and very peaceful. The Italuan restaurant closed the kitchen 1 hour before what they stated they closed but there were plenty of outside restaurants that were still open. All in all we would come back to the Sanibel Inn on Sanibel Island, loved it!"

The "Sun Castle" is one of only a handful of homes in Sanibel that can be rented for less than 28 days. Our rental license predates the 28-day minimum rental restrictions for most homes adopted in the 1980's. As such, we were grandfathered in and allowed to offer short-term rentals. Given this special privilege, we take extra care to make sure our rental activity does not interfere with our neighbors' right to the peaceful enjoyment of their property. We strictly limit the number of occupants to a maximum of eight persons and limit the number of cars than can park in the property to two. Ours is not a party house. Only registered guests can use the pool area. We are also ask guests to keep the volume of music and other sounds low so as not to be heard by neighbors. The result has been a wonderful relationship with our guests and neighbors. Not a single complaint in all these years! And an almost perfect 5.0 rating in guests' reviews.
We do not accept pets except in cases of legal compliance.

The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club is open to the public (user fees: golf $120; tennis: $25/hour) golf and tennis lessons offered, pro shop and fine restaurant on clubhouse.

Professional House Cleaning - Prior to the arrival of each guest, the house is thoroughly cleaned and serviced by professional cleaners. They will place a certificate of service at the door stating that the house has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. It is our way of assuring our guests that they will always find a clean property that meets their highest standards.

House completely renovated in 2016! New master bath, new kitchen, new wood laminate floors throughout the house. Pool was refinished and new landscape installed after Hurricane Ian in 2022. The house did not suffer major structural damage from hurricane.

Breakers West B5 is a nicely updated two-bedroom/two bathroom vacation rental condominium located along highly sought-after West Gulf Drive in Sanibel Island. Our condo features over 1000 sq ft of living space with a private screened lanai, full kitchen, spacious living area, and even a washer/dryer in the condo. The master bedroom suite has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedroom has two twin beds and a full bathroom nearby. Osprey Nest is a very unique two bedroom/two bathroom duplex home with loft and office area. Our home is stilted up a floor and shares a heated pool with the neighbor. As you enter our vacation home away from home, you'll see the dining area to your left and full kitchen to the right. We have everything you'll need to prepare meals all month for your family and guests. Also on the main level, there's a spacious living area with ample seating and the master suite with a very comfortable king sized bed. The guest bedroom with queen bed is just down the hall and a guest bathroom is near the guest bedroom. Up the stairs is the open loft with a queen bed and two twin beds. There's a full bathroom with shower in the loft area as well. There's also a small office with monitor to hook up to should you need to do any work or school work while you're away. Step outside onto the sun deck with lounge seating to take in some of Sanibel's plentiful Vitamin C. You're also welcome to bring your furry friend as one small dog is permitted with prior approval and a $300 non-refundable pet fee.

Our great East End Island location means a short walk to the beach (we provide beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels), nearby Cafe's and Ice Cream shop. We'll look forward to welcoming you to Osprey Nest for your next month or longer stay on Sanibel Island.
