- "Hey to everyone. Ditch the condos - this is the place!" - "The house was absolutely beautiful and the beach themed decorations were a cute touch. Having the covered private pool was nice when we were tired of the beach. It was a short walk to the beach but you can cut through the beach resort to get to a nice section of the beach. The only down side was the dishes and utensils at the house weren’t the nicest and we had to clean them before we could use. The grill was pretty disgusting but apart from that. I would rate the house a 4/5 stars."

The Coconut Cabana is BACK after much clean up and repair from the past Hurricanes Ian, Helene and Milton. House upgraded in April 2023 on the water across from Sanibel Island at the end of Monroe Canal. Enjoy the awesome view from the deck overlooking the mangroves and water. Bring your boat, boat lift included. Launch the included kayaks, the bikes, or just kick back on the deck watching the boats and dolphins. Great fishing awaits you in the sound, or head out into the gulf for the really big catch. This property is at the end of a canal which greatly decreases your no-wake time navigating canals both going out and coming back in. Monroe Canal Marina boat ramp just up the canal.

Pine Island is more of a slow island style tempo than even the rest of western Florida. There are several bars and restaurants close by, but no high rise condos on Pine Island. The neighborhood is mostly seniors and families with grandchildren. Frequent visitors from the sea include dolphins right in front of the villa. Ample parking in the driveway for a boat trailer. Boat rentals and Golf Cart rentals available close by. Saint James City, is a street legal golf cart community! Incredible view at this price. Compare a final price quote with other properties, no cleaning fee, zero! There is a $100 pet fee.

Code enforcement is very strict about this. The City of Sanibel requires the RDL for each property to be included in the rental platforms' listing site. Our property is one of the few homes in Sanibel with an RDL that allows rentals for less than 28 days. We were grandfathered in since our rental license was acquired prior to the time the city imposed the 28-day minimum requirement.

The "Sun Castle" is one of only a handful of homes in Sanibel that can be rented for less than 28 days. Our rental license predates the 28-day minimum rental restrictions for most homes adopted in the 1980's. As such, we were grandfathered in and allowed to offer short-term rentals. Given this special privilege, we take extra care to make sure our rental activity does not interfere with our neighbors' right to the peaceful enjoyment of their property. We strictly limit the number of occupants to a maximum of eight persons and limit the number of cars than can park in the property to two. Ours is not a party house. Only registered guests can use the pool area. We are also ask guests to keep the volume of music and other sounds low so as not to be heard by neighbors. The result has been a wonderful relationship with our guests and neighbors. Not a single complaint in all these years! And an almost perfect 5.0 rating in guests' reviews.
We do not accept pets except in cases of legal compliance.

The Dunes Golf and Tennis Club is open to the public (user fees: golf $120; tennis: $25/hour) golf and tennis lessons offered, pro shop and fine restaurant on clubhouse.

Osprey Nest is a very unique two bedroom/two bathroom duplex home with loft and office area. Our home is stilted up a floor and shares a heated pool with the neighbor. As you enter our vacation home away from home, you'll see the dining area to your left and full kitchen to the right. We have everything you'll need to prepare meals all month for your family and guests. Also on the main level, there's a spacious living area with ample seating and the master suite with a very comfortable king sized bed. The guest bedroom with queen bed is just down the hall and a guest bathroom is near the guest bedroom. Up the stairs is the open loft with a queen bed and two twin beds. There's a full bathroom with shower in the loft area as well. There's also a small office with monitor to hook up to should you need to do any work or school work while you're away. Step outside onto the sun deck with lounge seating to take in some of Sanibel's plentiful Vitamin C. You're also welcome to bring your furry friend as one small dog is permitted with prior approval and a $300 non-refundable pet fee.

Our great East End Island location means a short walk to the beach (we provide beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels), nearby Cafe's and Ice Cream shop. We'll look forward to welcoming you to Osprey Nest for your next month or longer stay on Sanibel Island.

At the top of the road you can ride the bike path as it winds past the old settlers' cemetery, or walk up the road into Algiers City Park. Four houses down Southwinds is the private beach access to the Gulf of Mexico beaches.

The beach house is freshly painted, and the large, soft turquoise master bedroom has a king bed, and a reading/TV watching area with leather Lazyboy recliner. The Master Bathroom's spa-like shower, in tumbled travetine and turquoise sea-glass is large enough for two. With your safety in mind our shower design includes a bench and grab bar.

The large guest bedroom, in calming blue, has a queen bed and leather Lazboy recliner and reading table.

The living room has soaring cathedral ceilings, and natural wood trim, adjoining a 30 foot screened porch to enjoy your morning coffee, and your evening glass of wine. Six glass doors slide aside to open the living/dining room to the sights and sounds of outdoors.

The cottage kitchen has dishwasher, microwave, fridge and stove, and lots of pull out shelves and cupboard space. The washer and dryer is on the main level between the bedrooms and kitchen for convenience.

The completely screened downstairs includes the heated pool, several sitting areas to meet your desire to be in the sun or shade. Also downstairs, right beside the pool, is the Gathering Room. This cool room, with a turquoise epoxied floor, has a man door, and also a garage door that opens the room up completely to the pool. You'll find a mini-fridge, plastic glasses and plates, coffee maker, books and games, and a single daybed that makes into a king bed.

Sandcastle Home on Sanibel Island, Florida is a beautiful vacation home located in The Dunes neighborhood. The Dunes is a great spot with one of the best 18 hole golf courses around. Our home has everything you may need for a month or longer stay on the Island including an office with desk and high speed wireless internet. It's a great floor plan with a spacious master suite with en-suite bathroom and two additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first guest bedroom has another king sized bed with the other bedroom having two twin beds. There's a full kitchen with everything you'll need to prepare meals for your family and friends as well as a dining area and living room with very comfortable furniture. Downstairs we have an entertaining area off the pool that leads to the expansive pool area and hot tub. Our pool is heated to 86 degrees during the winter months with the hot tub at 102. Lounge on the pool side or the wrap around deck on the home. We have a large screened in area over the pool and decks to keep the bugs away as well. The Dunes is a short drive to beach parking and we include beach equipment for you. We'll look forward to welcoming you to Sanibel Island for your next month or longer stay.

- "Great location, good neighborhood." - "Dream Vacation Rentals was easy to work with when we faced issues. They were responsive via text. The home is very spacious. The kitchen was fairly equipped, but please bring your own dish rags. The rental agency does supply sets of towels, hand towels, wash clothes and ones to step out on from the shower. The water in the master bedroom off of the living has to warm up in the shower for a few minutes. The hot is to the right. The bedroom also has a door with slats on it, so privacy is limited. If anyone is in the living room/kitchen area, you’ll hear them easily and vice versa. The washer and dryer were very nice to have and utilize. There are puzzles, games and dvds in the room with the pull-out bed in the sofa. It was such a cute set up and workspace. There were two bikes at the house but only one was working, as the other had a flat tire. One helmet was provided for anyone under the age requirement. There were only two small beach chairs (sit low to the ground) and an umbrella. The binder provided in the house on the tv stand has some of the same information as the website provided by the agency for welcoming. However, the book does not have the correct address for the property, and the beach access it provides is not correct either. The rental agency did help with sorting this out, but you park in a roped off area where it says you can be fined or towed for not having a decal. A decal is not provided. We did park in the roped off location after paying for parking before finding the binder to help guide us. We did not have issues, and the beach location was very nice! Be aware of the electric in the home. The lights would flicker, as well as the power shutting off and coming back on. It did not happen consistently but at random times. The internet would work fairly well during the day, but, at night/evening, be prepared to be kicked off or unable to utilize the tv due to it losing connectivity. Despite any of the small obstacles we had over the vacation, it was such a great time and location. The neighborhood is very peaceful and located near shops, etc. that you can easily ride your bike there. The rental agency is more than willing to address issues and are very responsive. We would undoubtedly rent this house again."

Built nearly 60 years ago but renovated in 2023, these cottages maintain a charming and cozy character while also providing guests with all of the modern convenience and accessories a savvy traveler would expect in a high end vacation rental.

The Space:
Consisting of two large buildings, with two cottage units contained within each, The Palms offers guests a low-key and private setting with a private pool to boot in which to enjoy their vacation. One of the characteristics we find travelers enjoy most about The Palms is the privacy and seclusion that the resort affords them. Situated on more than 1.5 acres of resort property, guests will feel as if they have discovered a hidden island enclave, one in which they have to share with just three other traveling groups (most of which consist of just one to two travelers each). The best part of all being that The Palms is located on what is arguably the most attractive intersection on all of Sanibel Island- East Gulf and Periwinkle Way.

Cottage Two at The Palms is comprised of one large room consisting of a kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa, en-suite bathroom, and detached bedroom area. The kitchen features modern appliances and is fully equipped and the cottage features flat screen TVs. The cottage also possesses a screened-in patio that is surrounded by hedges and affords guests ample privacy.

Local restaurant and bars are within a short distance from the home. If your looking to rent a boat for your stay there are a few options such as Get My Boat, which will drop off the boat at the marina less than .5 mile from the home, and is dropped at the same canal of the home.

Additionally, a tandem kayak and paddle board are available which are great for the canal to check out the fishes, manatees and sometimes even dolphins!

Welcome to Tin Cup ... our three bedroom/three bathroom vacation rental home in world renowned Sanibel Island, Florida. Our home looks out to the beautiful Sanibel Island golf course offering wonderful views and relaxation. We're just a short walk to the Beachview Estates beach access path (maybe a 10 minute walk). We do include a beach cart and beach equipment for added convenience. With nearly 2400 sq ft of living space, there's plenty of room to accommodate up to 8 guests. The spacious master bedroom suite features a king bed, en-suite bathroom, golf course views and direct access to the pool area. The first guest bedroom features a full bed and full bathroom featuring an underwater theme nearby with the second guest bedroom with two twin beds and full bathroom just outside in the hall featuring a flamingo theme. There is a full kitchen, living area with TV and sleeper sofa for extra guests as well as another sitting area and dining room near the entrance to the home. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer and the garage is available for your use.

Beachview Estates is home to the Sanibel Island golf course, which is a public 18 hole course as well as Beachview Tennis Club and a new Blue Giraffe restaurant at the Golf Course. There is a beach access path at the northwest corner of the neighborhood that brings you to Middle Gulf Drive and the beach access path across directly to the beach. Walk or bike to enjoy swimming, shelling, dining and shopping. Complimentary adult bikes and beach equipment are provided to explore the 30 miles of bike paths running right by the cottage, or to enjoy a day at the beach full of fun under the sun.

Caloosa Retreat is one of 6 cottages within the historic PalmView of Sanibel, each one beautifully appointed with a distinct theme. Caloosa Retreat combines the one bedroom Caloosa unit with the adjacent lockout suite, providing guests with a larger two bedroom experience.

The Neighborhood:
The cottage is situated on the desirable East End of Sanibel, which is equidistant to almost every sought after beach on Sanibel. You will be near restaurants, shopping, and activity, while still far enough removed to be reminded that you are on vacation. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic.

We recommend bikes or a golf cart to get around.

The space
Dockside Retreat features three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The three bedrooms are situated across two living levels, with two bedrooms located on the first floor and the primary bedroom encompassing the entire second floor. The primary bedroom also features en-suite access to an expansive patio overlooking the canal with sunrise views. The primary bedroom features a king bed, flat screen TV, and large walk in closet. It features an en-suite bathroom with an oversized jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, and a dual vanity setup. The first guest bedroom features a king bed and its own en-suite bathroom with single vanity and shower/tub combo. The second guest bedroom features a twin over twin bunk bed and enjoys access to a hallway bathroom with single vanity and shower/tub combo. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the first floor, adjacent to the living room. There are two small sets of stairs within the home, one with five steps which leads from the entryway into the living room and the second with approximately ten steps which leads from the living area to the primary bedroom.

There is a garage located adjacent to the entryway and just past the garage guests will appreciate the entertainment/bonus room, which features a large quartz countertop bar and flat screen TV, with it's own sliding door leading to the backyard area. This room is perfect for watching sports or simply unwinding with a beer of your choice. Just beyond the backyard area is the dock, which provides guests direct gulf access by boat if they are so inclined. Fishing off the dock is great (Snook and Tarpon commonly frequent the canal) and the idle from the dock to San Carlos Bay is just a matter of minutes.

Guest access
Guests have access to the house, the pool, the dock, and one garage. If guests want to have access to the boat lift during their stay they must notify management with at least 60 days remaining before their check in date.

Other things to note
Guests must complete a rental agreement prior to checking in. Guests will receive a copy of the agreement upon booking automatically. If a guest desires to have use of the boat lift during their stay, they must notify management more than 60 days prior to their stay. The owner keeps his boat on the lift but it can be moved with sufficient notice if a guest is bringing their own boat.
