Yet it's only a five minutes walk to all the restaurants and shops in the main street of Bédoin. For cycling, you're right on the route to Mont Ventoux but there are many other wonderful tours that you can make from the house, like Gorges Nesque. I would definitely recommend this house and we hope to come back too!"

- "This is a very nice house, run by very nice people. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It appears to be recently painted or otherwise kept very clean. Opening the shutters in the bedroom when you arise is itself an inspiration. One has a magnificent view of the town of Bedoin and the surrounding mountains. Our small dog loved the large back yard. Hung about the house are beautiful pictures of the area painted by the owner herself. The owners, by the way, are available to help, but are not intrusive. Wi-Fi is available from 7 PM to 9 AM. We used our hotspots the rest of the time. The loo is on the main floor and the bath is upstairs with the bedrooms. Sheets and towels are available to rent. You can leave the place spotlessly clean or pay them 60 Euros to do it for you. We opted for all of those. Even with the rental of linens and the cleanup fee, this gite is a good value. We would happily return if we were back in the area."

The detached cottage on a plot of 2000m², is adjacent to our house, it has a private area with barbecue, table, chairs, sun loungers. Located in a pretty subdivision on the edge of the village but in no way isolated a few steps from shops and services, on the foothills of Mont Ventoux, with the legendary slopes of the Tour de France, a paradise for cyclists.
At the start of long hiking and mountain biking trails and a few kms away. Avignon, Vaison la Romaine, Carpentras, Nyons, Beaume de Venise, Sault and lavender, Gordes and Luberon, Saint Rémy and the Alpilles, also close to Nimes, Arles and the Camargue 150 km from the beaches , but also at the heart of the region of major festivals.

The Gite itself is well maintained, clean and fully equipped for your everyday needs. It is fully air conditioned which makes it very comfortable when temperatures are reaching 37 degrees outside! Our children spent every day in the spotless pool and the gas bbq and terraced area outside was great for evening meals that we didn't feel the need to venture out to town even though the town of Bedoin itself has plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Bedoin itself is roughly a mile away and is a lovely town with a great market held on a Monday. A lot of cyclists head here to ride up Mont Ventoux but you do not have to be a keen cyclist to enjoy the magnificent views as it is also a great drive! I also have to thank Phillipe and Yvonne for being so accommodating. This holiday was originally booked for August 2020 but covid had plans and subsequently Philippe not only allowed us to postpone in 2020 but also 2021 when there were still travel restrictions in place. We are so glad we did postpone otherwise we would have missed out on this great break away."
