For the price tag and luxury experience, though, I was surprised by the lack of personal care and grooming options available in the room. On the contrary, the spa is worth checking out and the prices are very reasonable! We also were woken up with a blaring fire alarm in the middle of night, were asked to evacuate (the staff had no idea what was going on) and after the entire building was awoken at 4am and the alarm stopped (approx. 10 minutes later), all they said was "it was just a test, you can go back to your rooms." A "test" at 4am?!? All in all, it was a great stay despite a few misshaps. I think the staff as a whole could have been more friendly and hospitable. Most of them seemed very uptight and like something was going wrong at all times (that was just their state of being, nothing was actually happening but it felt like a constant red alert). "

After reading some reviews I noticed people complaining about the noise coming from the main road next to the hotel so I specifically requested a quiet room and I got it but here I have to take my luggage down a few stairs which was very difficult for me and they didn’t bother to help or put my luggage in the room at the 3pm checkin (I arrived at the hotel at 10am so they had my luggage for 5 hours and could have easily place it in my room by the time I came back to the hotel) in a 4* hotel I would expect some help with the luggage as a woman especially when they see I have 2 heavy bags. I also extended my stay with one night and on hotels.com the only room was available was the next room category which I paid and when I called the reception to inform I want to stay in the same room, and because there is a price difference between the initial price and the new room’s price I said I rather stay in same room but for the price difference they could do a complimentary breakfast.. he just acted like he didn’t even heard what I said. So I ended up overpaying for the room just so I can stay in same room. For the lack of service I gave a lower rating but otherwise it was a really good choice the room is spacious, bright, bathroom is the biggest one I have seen in France and the location is the best. - "Room was very clean and just big enough - beautiful patio for coffee in the morning. Staff was outstanding." - "We spent a week in September and could easily have spent longer there. Room was lovely - king size bed (and clever in built kitchenette with fridge, microwave, hot plate) with a terrace that overlooked superb pool and gardens. There was also a beautiful bathroom, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Air conditioning worked well. Spa rooms are beautiful, so clean (as is the whole hotel) . Everything works including a roof terrace jacuzzi which was a delight. Staff are very helpful and friendly and just go about their business quietly and efficiently. It is all so calm. Continental Breakfast at 15 euros might seem a little expensive but 6 mornings out of 7 we chose to have breakfast there, so that tells you something. Fresh orange juice, fresh breads, cheese, meats, eggs, fruit, yoghurts, melon, coffee tea - self service - excellent. There is no restaurant for lunch/dinner but Cannes town centre is 10 mins walk away and full of options. We were able to have a drink on the terrace after returning from evening dinner in Cannes as Reception is staffed 24/7 and there is complete security cover in/out of the hotel. It felt very safe. We would recommend this hotel very highly"

- "Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotel with a very good cleanness standard and nice spacious rooms. I highly appreciate the room upgrade I got, specially booking it on very short notice. Parking is possible on site on an extra charge, in low season it is not needed, as there's enough space outside on the street. Beds are comfortable, A/C works perfect, rooms / bathrooms are well equipped! Option to use the Sauna on request. The pool is not operational in winter, but been at the hotel in summer and can absolutely recommend it! I will definitely come back! "
