Using the belief a holiday home should be comfortable and not less than what you have at home, we have furnished this cottage with high-quality beds, luxury furniture and pieces of unique handmade artwork.
Three large bedrooms with 3.6mtr ceilings, high-end queen beds and one King with hotel quality linen and vintage Japanese Kimonos to use. The bedrooms are designed to be a peaceful haven, decorated in natural tones and warmed and cooled with reverse cycle air-conditioning.

We gathered for a 40th, and it was a delightful weekend in the house and the town. Short proximity to to town and the lake, and plenty of parking and space in the house. Things to keep in mind

We want to be upfront about a few quirks, so you arrive with the right expectations:

• One bathroom shared by all guests (with spa bath and toilet).

• Hot water – totally adequate if the property isn’t overbooked and showers aren’t too long.

• No oven or washing machine – though there’s a laundromat in town and plenty of dining options nearby. An outdoor BBQ is provided.

• Rustic setting – cupboards are locked for storage, and being in the country, you may occasionally see insects (we treat and manage regularly).

• Best for smaller groups – while it sleeps up to 6 in the main house plus 2 in the studio, the living area is most comfortable for a group of 4–6. With the one bathroom we suggest not overbooking.

Granite Cottage is on two acres in a peaceful and quiet location, a short stroll from the main street and only steps from the Gorge with a plethora of walking and riding trails. Through split levels (please be aware there are many different levels due to the age of the original home), Granite Cottage offers two queen beds and sleeps four with the option of a double sofa bed if you have a extra guests. Please enquire if you would like use of the sofa bed.
One bedroom is downstairs the other is in the loft area upstairs. The sofa bed is located downstairs in a separate sitting room. There is a separate lounge dining located downstairs.
