Mount Beauty is a hive of activity in summer, you can fish or ski at the lake in town. There is also the river with so many beautiful spots to swim fish and picnic (don't forget the lilo if you have one). Mount Beauty is known for both road bike riding and mountain bike riders. There are so many days trip options you will wish you have stayed longer, wineries, bush walking tracks, restaurants, gift shops. Do not forget the golf course, show up on Saturday or Wednesday for a competition with the locals, or play casually. Gardens, cafes, wineries, brewery, canoeing choice is yours. We are right in the heart of Tawonga South, right next door to Fallon's Bus Company and Vline drop off/ pickup. We have four ski hires in walking distance and one bike shop. Four cafes, two either side of us, a restaurant next door, a pub across the road, fish and chips two doors away and a brewery just up the road. The supermarket, bakery and chemist are about a fifteen minute walk into Mt Beauty. The beautiful Kiewa river is across the road with lovely parks and swimming/fishing holes. Country walks start right at our front gate. Please note that this accommodation does not offer a kitchen

Snowgums is Dreamers honeymoon (romantic) chalet as it is quite secluded and tranquil and located on the far side of Dreamers lagoon and 5 acre property.

Spoil yourselves this April and May and discover the beauty of an Alpine Autumn near Bright or a cosy winter escape (for this coming 2024 ski season) overlooking the snow capped mountains of Falls Creek.

As you step onto the balcony, tucked around the corner is the private outdoor spa and rustic pergoda with sun lounges which overlooks the surrounding fields and mountains which are totally snow-capped in the winter.

Stepping into the studio style chalet there is a king size bed, cosy sunken lounge with open fire, small but fully equipped kitchen, a spacious walk through shower-bathroom-dressing room and a tiny Japanese inspired loft for just chilling out away from the world!

Snowgums chalet outlooks onto the surrounding winter snow-capped mountains and is surrounded by farming land where cattle and sheep graze.
This chalet is not suitable for the older folk or immobile guests due to the low couch in the sunken lounge.
We are very sorry but we strictly do not accept children in Snowgum chalet. New Babies up to the age of 8-9 months (pre-walking/crawling) is fine.
We do accept children in our 2 bedroom Glasshouse chalet which can also be located on this site or please send an enquiry if you cannot locate it.

Laundry facilities are provided near reception and free wireless internet connection in your room along with TV DVD and small DVD library.

Glasshouse chalet is the perfect getaway chalet to experience the April and May spectacular Autumn leaves near Bright or a winter ski holiday to the very nearby Falls Creek ski resort.

Glasshouse is located on Dreamers 5 acre property overlooking the resort lagoon and the surrounding winter snow capped mountains.
This timber and stone spa chalet is designed for one couple but does have a 2nd bedroom located in the loft with a Q/S and a single bed making it suitable for a small family OR 2 couples.

Glasshouse features a cosy lounge/dining/ full kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, full stove, small fridge and all kitchen utensils)
A combustion log fire features in the cosy lounge along with reverse cycle air-conditioner, ceiling fans, TV DVD, Netflix and free Wi-fi.

Luxury Country French bed linens, towels, robes and (firewood over the winter period mid April - mid October) is provided.

The views thru the tree tops discover winter snow capped mountains and northern aspect winter sun. An idealic location to soak up the warm winter sun with a morning coffee or afternoon wine. An adjoining 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment called Garden House can be rented for a larger group sleeping up to 15 people so please message if interested.

- "We loved the house. It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens for our long awaited few days away after a long time going nowhere. We particularly loved the design and use of recycled materials. The passive heating and cooling was amazing. We loved the info provided that explained how it all worked. Being a cooler time of year we only used the heating. We found we had to turn the hydronic heating way down or off, as we did upstairs. Would love to visit in summer to experience the passive cooling in action. Bedrooms are very generous in size, very comfortable beds and good linen. Downstairs has a seperate toilet and vanity area seperate to the bathroom. A bonus with teens. The kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. We didn’t cook while there but the stove is definitely perfect for a serious cook up, and lots of bench space. The outdoor areas are lovely. Beautiful views from the front deck, and a beautiful secluded area out back/side with a lovely garden with lots of native birds. This opens out from the living room and in warmer months this area would be well used. Only critic would be to have blinds on all upstairs windows. We stayed on daylight savings change over weekend. So it was light very early. Also if you have a bigger car, 4WD or SUV you cannot park in the garage. I was planning to back ours in before we saw the sign that said no 4WDs or reversing into garage. Due to gradient in front of the garage some lower cars might scrape front or back bumpers trying. Most of all Wendy was so fantastic with her communication and transparency for our booking. I asked before booking well in advance what would happen if covid impacted our booking. Wendy was great. If we couldn’t get there we got a credit. We didn’t know until days before our booking if we could get there due to restrictions in our region. Wendy was so understanding and told us it was ok if we needed to cancel last minute. It all worked out a treat and we got there. Would definitely stay again."

Gunuma, meaning snow in the local indigenous language, is a quaint shack on the land of the Dhudhuroa People. Our 3 bedroom home is an ideal getaway for 1-2 couples or a small family seeking an alpine escape.

The shack offers a cosy and comfortable stay, and what she lacks in polish she makes up in character. The perfect base for a family snow trip to Falls Creek in Winter or a mountain escape in Summer.

Our basic pantry items include tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil. Mount Beauty Foodworks offer a great selection of groceries or check our information guide for some of our favourite local cafes and restaurants.

Bed linen, bath towels and face washers are provided (one towel per person).

The shack offers a small selection of games, toys and children’s books.

We are proudly an inclusive stay and all guests of any background or community are welcome here into a safe space. Although our front door is accessed by stairs, there is a back entrance which can accommodate those with limited mobility. The small footprint of the house means there are some tight spaces, please contact us if you are unsure whether we can accommodate you.

A couple of things to note:
- Unfortunately the outdoor laundry is not currently available for guests. There is a laundromat in town if you require.
- The decking is need of some TLC. Guests are asked to be cautious and use the deck at their own risk.

Our Dreamers 5 acre property is located right in the village of Mt Beauty an easy 30 km drive to Falls Creek ski resort and close access to Bright, Yackandah and Beechworth.

There are 2 outdoor areas. The front entrance patio (with BBQ and fire pit) features a shady treed space in summer, rich autumn shades in autumn and sun drenched in winter. The garden courtyard has a private fenced yard suitable for 1 small to medium size dog (ONLY with permission + $30 fee and a condition that your pet does not stay on the property without an owner present). You MUST send a messag we to us for permission please.
The yard is great for kids with play equipment to keep them occupied.
The yard also features an outdoor hot tub overlooking the surrounding Alpine Mountains.
Your hot tub (not spa as there are no jets) is filled by you with fresh hot water when you are ready for your tub. Outdoor towels are supplied.

The living spaces feature open log fire for winter and aircon for summer. The sunken lounge conservatory houses an array of indoor plants and a tree couch.

The apartment is uniquely different as it is a converted cafe with beautiful timber slab dining table, full galley kitchen, coffee machine and marble topped bar.
If you are looking for a mainstream accommodation apartment this may not be suitable for you.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The lower floor family bedroom has 1 x Double and 2 x single beds with one of the single beds as a trundle.
The 2 master bedrooms with a Queen bed in each are located up the stairs on the next floor and share the top floor bathroom. This bathroom features a walk in shower and large soak bath with mountain views.
All bedrooms feature quality French country bed linens, warm winter weight doonas, white towels and robes.

The summer pool is located 30m from Garden House and is shared by a few other holiday apartments on the same tranquil resort property.
A private lagoon is located in the centre of this 5 acre Dreamers property.
Dreamers property is located right in the village of Mt Beauty a short 20 minute drive from Bright and Falls Creek Ski Resort.
Beechworth and Yackandandah under 1 hour away.
Mt Beauty is a perfect base for bush walking/ hiking/ snow sports/ 4WDrives/ bike sports/ fishing and wineries.
