In the morning ski down to Halleys Comet Chair ( previously called Falls Express ) or Gully Chair - no walking required ! However if this is all too hard, the free shuttle stop is only 50 paces away.

Sun Valley 1A is a cosy, warm , quiet studio designed for couples. It is light and bright with its own private entrance. It has a Queen size bed, a modern bathroom and a large TV. As we specialise in short term stays the cooking facilities are limited to a microwave, kettle, toaster and small fridge. However why not spoil yourself and make use of the many restaurants within easy walking distance.

We didn't have the best snow coverage in the village during our stay, however, usually it's ski-in/ski-out. There is a shuttle only 30 metres from the property which makes commuting around the village a breeze. Anita was a brilliant host who is very responsive and assisted us when needed. Les Chalets 8 is a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment located on the third floor of the front building of Les Chalets. Commanding fabulous views over the Summit, the apartment features an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area & huge balcony.

The apartment is in a sought after position next to Halley's Comet chairlift which takes you directly to ski school and the beginner & intermediate runs). The apartment is within three minutes’ walk to ticketing, equipment hire, restaurants, supermarket & post office. To top it all off there is no oversnow transport for arrivals or departures required for Les Chalets as you can park quite close by to unload your luggage.

Bedroom 1: queen bed with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2: double bed with single bunk above plus a set of single bunks, ensuite bathroom. All beds have down doonas. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge.

In the foyer there is a European laundry (washing machine & dryer) as well as one of two drying cupboards for hanging up wet snow gear. The second drying cupboard is between the master bedroom & loungeroom. There is also a secure personal ski locker with a heated floor & ski racks located on the ground floor of the building for storing snow gear & bikes. Linen and towels are provided as well as tea, coffee, basic condiments & kitchen supplies. Free wireless internet is included.

One of only 2 apartments in this boutique complex Snow Fall at Crowns Nest offers spectacular views and privacy with excellent ski in and ski out access. Snow Fall at Crows Nest can sleep up to 12 people in complete comfort with each of the four bedrooms having an ensuite, (there is also a double sofa bed). To add to this there a complete second lounge on the first floor and a spa on level 2.

Ski in Ski out - leaving from the front door ski to the Falls Express Chairlift, the Gully Chair or the International Poma and ski home to the backdoor via Ory’s trail.

The main living area offers high raked ceilings and large windows that flood the space with light. The lounge also has a gas fire - who wants to be at the snow without one!

On the living room level there is a private balcony with bush views that holds a hot tub spa - just what you need after the end of a fantastic day on the slopes - or fishing, or mountain biking - whatever activity that you come to Falls Creek for! The inside spa bath has it's own separate bathroom.

There is an excellent laundry at Snowfall with a drying room and wonderful heating throughout.

- "Will go back there again" - "Loved the locations and could stop off for lunch." - "Alpine View apartments was located right next to the snow, shops and ski lifts which went up to the summit area. This made it really convenient for renting gear and hitting the slopes straight away. Also there was a cafe right next to the apartment so if you were hungry you didn’t have to go far. Inside the apartment there were many beds, a SUPER comfortable sofa, bathroom, tv, and a kitchen for if you wanted to bring food and cook for yourself. The locker room was a easy to access and was fine for all our gear. One thing that I would want for the apartment is a place for drying things easier but you could use the heater instead. Overall we really enjoyed staying at Alpine view apartments and we will be coming back again."

The house is in a residential street with surrounding permanent tenants, so we only rent to mature guests who will remain respectful to our neighbours. The house will be used for relaxation-style holidaying; loud parties are prohibited.

Without a doubt, this is the best location on the mountain, genuine ski in ski out. When the snow is on the roads, you put your skis on at the back door and ski down through the village to Slalom Plaza to catch the lift up to Cloud 9 and access to all the terrain you need. After a great day carving, you can ski down the Home Trail and Ory’s right to the back door. When spring has sprung, this is usually the last place at Falls Creek where skiing home to the door is still possible.
