We hired bikes at the small port at Biganos and found there to be plenty of cycle lanes, though we perhaps under estimated some of the distances to cycle. We also visited the Pilat sand dune and the lake at Biscarrosse where the children loved the shallow water for swimming, pedalo and canoing. All in all a good base for a family holiday in this area."

- "I visited with my wife and two daughters (aged 7 and 9) in the last week of August. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can say it was the best rental we have ever had. The house was well decorated, maintained and had everything we needed and had a really nice feel, we didn't really want to go out! The listing description was extremely good, no surprises or disappointments and Rebecca provided excellent customer service from the first enquiry to our departure, ringing us very promptly after we had left to let us know we had left something behind, so we were able to get back and accepting our very late arrival with extremely good grace. It's a really nice area and plenty to do - our only regret was that we didn't have bikes with us - there were miles of beautiful bike tracks in the area, which we would have loved to cycle through. I would definitely recommend this rental."
