The hotel was clean. My only issue was the fact that I could tell the floor in our room hadn't been vacuumed. All in all, it was a pleasant stay at a reasonable rate."

Cabin sits on almost 2 acres right across from the Des Moines river , boat ramp just 1/4 mile away . Home has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing get away in the woods . Cabin is log and knotty pine inside . This cabin was built by my father in 2003 as his retirement home . We welcome well trained dogs , there is no fenced yard and lots of timber all around so we recommend keeping on leash as there are lots of deer crossing thru property daily . Boone is just a 10 min drive , Ogden 15 min . Don Williams recreation is also just 5 min drive . Come relax , rewind and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the country .

The place was clean and had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy a great time. We received great communication from our host and she even gave us a couple tips. Rural neighborhood was very friendly and within easy walking distance of the river. We spent time outside every day and grilled our meals on site. Two small towns not very far away though, should any needs arise. I can see us staying here again soon!"
