Near everything we were visiting like Lobster fest in Shediac, tree go, escape room, horse back riding and casino in Moncton then visiting family in bouctouche and St. Paul. - "I absolutely loved this cottage. We had 2 adults and 4 kids. There was plenty of space with two large beds an two bedrooms as well as a double fold out mattress that can go on the floor, It was a memory foam, ten or twelve inch thick mattress, very comfortable.This place was stocked to the nines. Loads of pillows and blankets, all the cooking utensils you would need as well as a fully functioning dishwasher, which was super convenient. Large tv with netflix and disney plus, a sound bar, laundry, a full bath and shower. It is in a small cottage community with many friendly neighbors. There is a small beach just at the end of the road, however because of the last Hurricane I wouldn't say it is swimmable, but there is another beach just five minutes down the road. It took approximate 25 to 30 minutes to go to Magnetic hill area and there are small stores and local fruit stands as well as a cute ice cream shop just minutes away. The space was very clean and open. There is a very large gazebo that is covered and enclosed with lights for the Evening and a barbecue and propane fire table with full propane tanks. We enjoyed the games, and the kids enjoyed the original Battle Ship (took all of me not to bring it home). Be fore warned there is a smell in the bathroom because of the water as it is on a well. More of a sulphuric smell, but it didn't bother us. There is a water machine there for drinking. Owner is very responsive and very nice. Can't wait to come again! "

Its located right in the middle of cottage country, and the beach is a hope skip and a jump from the front door and is great for taking your dog to let them run around. While there was some other properties around, they were not right next to us. So we had and enjoyed a great deal of privacy. It also allowed us to keep our dog off leash and let him run free! We would highly recommend this place, and we plan on coming back!"

Shalin boasts spacious living areas, one space for watching TV and the other area for relaxing, reading and family games with a view of beautiful Cocagne Bay. Large dining table next to the galley kitchen where you can enjoy meals with a view of Cocagne Island. Updated bathroom where you can relax in the tub after a day on the beach or an excursion to the surrounding communities. Nautical themed bedrooms to rest and rejuvenate. Covered porch is a wonderful place to sit and listen to the seaside sounds of the waves washing up on the shore, the breeze rustling through the leaves of the apple trees in front of the cottage and the variety of birds that call the shores of Cocagne Bay home. A truly magical place to watch sunrises and sunsets.

Although this cottage is not new, it is well maintained, cozy and features a nice sunroom to relax while the kids are in bed. You can also sit by the fire and enjoy the fresh air and the cool water breeze on a warm summer day.

This is well suited for a family with 2 kids or 2 couples that want to enjoy the centrally located cottage within 30 minutes of all the top spots that the coast has to offer.

The cottage has been completely renovated in 2021.

Amenities included: heat, TV, internet, sofa and table, and chairs. Kitchen amenities include fridge, stove, microwave, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, linens, and washer, etc.

Outdoor amenities include patio furniture, BBQ, fire pit, lawn chairs and a short walk away from the beach.

Arrival after 3 pm leaving before 10 am, 50% deposit is required for booking.
