The bathroom has not been upgraded, but I didn't mind. The building is blocks from downtown St. John, easy to walk to the downtown museums and restaurants. Only issue is parking. There is none on site. You can park with a permit that you can buy (the hotel will hook it up for you) which allows overnight on-street parking."

The property is Less than half an hour from the bustling city of St. John, New Brunswick. Charming 2-storey beachfront cottage (built in 2006) on four spectacular acres, bordered by
fresh water creek and warm tidal pools. This unspoiled coastline will leave you in awe of nature's greatness! Perfect retreat for lovers, naturalists, poets, artists, and others.

In fact, when the tide is in, the house is so close to the ocean that from the upper floor, it looks as if it’s floating in it. The house itself is beautifully decorated with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing seaside holiday. It comfortably accomodates four adults or a family with one or two young children. And most importantly for us, dogs are very welcome. It has WiFi which is very slow and now has satellite TV (not necessarily a good thing!). There is virtually no cell phone reception, making calls impossible and texts unreliable. It does have a landline for incoming calls and emergencies. Finally, the owner of Maggie’s Run is lovely. We’ve rented the beach house from her several times and she’s always been friendly and reliable."
