4 Bedroom, 2 Bath home, nestled in the foothills of the Appalacian mountains. Home is located in a safe and well established neighborhood in Canton Georgia. Home is located 20 minutes from I-75, 3 miles from I-575, 5 minutes from downtown Canton, 4.5 miles from Lake Allatoona, 25 minutes from Lakepoint Sports Complex, 16 miles from Downtown Woodstock, and less than a hours drive from Atlanta.
Home sits on a nice one acre lot wooded lot. Back yard features a LARGE deck, playset for the kids, and plenty of room to run around and play.
Great location for competing fishermen or boaters. Cherokee Mills Park boat ramp is only 4.5 miles down the road. Driveway is large enough to park 2 boats and two towing vehicles.
The closest beach is less than a 10 minute drive from the house. If you are wondering how far the property is from a friends, family members, or some venue, use 10795 Bells Ferry Rd, Canton GA as your starting point. Its less than 1/10 of a mile from the house.
Some guests find the walkway from the driveway to the front porch to be steep so if you are traveling with folks with walking difficulties, perhaps this may not be your best choice. Secluded 5,600 SF lodge nestled in a Hickory forest featuring a private lake teaming with game fish. The 7+ acres, lake and lodge are all yours. Main floor is elegant, romantic and cozy. The massive 50 foot long screened porch that overlooks the lake features a massage / spa area, seating for 16 or more, dining options, etc. The lower "pub" level features a commercial sized bar, band stage, hidden lair, bar games, full gym and pure fun! Canoe, kayak, g un and archery range, hiking trails, bonfire, etc. This place can be as crazy as you want it to be or more relaxing than you expect. Many places by the lake and in the forest to sit and relax.

Groceries, food, liquor, supplies are 4 minutes away in beautiful Hickory Flat, Ga. Convenient to I575 & GA 400. Downtown Woodstock, Canton and Alpharetta are minutes away and offer excellent dining and entertainment.

Hickory Lodge is perfect for family reunions, small weddings, company retreats, church retreats, special celebrations, fantastic parties or just a romantic hideout close to home for a local couple. The house band is always available for hire and when its warm and sunny you are welcome to charter my 37' sea ray cruiser for a few hours or a day on a huge local lake. If you are lucky enough to stay mid-week the house band - Hickory Flat Band - may play for free! Your own club with live music! Hard to beat. You can learn more about one of Atlanta's best bands on IG at hickoryflatband. Imagine having dinner on the main level and then walking down to the lower level to enjoy your own private band doing a show just for you and your group.

The lodge has 7 private sleeping rooms although only 4 are legitimate bedrooms. The other three are the very large laundry/office room, home gym room and the master closet. The laundry/office makes a very nice bedroom with window that overlooks the lake, window shade, power outlets and powder room is adjacent so it has its own "private" bathroom. This room features a 24" high edge queen sized airbed. The master closet has a single bed in it with its own window, power outlets and shares the master bathroom. Private exit won't bother those staying in the master bedroom. The pub level also features a futon and huge feather sleeping couch along with a number of additional airbeds. The home gym room has 2 queen beds in it. Hammocks are available for those who want to sleep in the woods. The lodge has 8 queen airbeds and lots of floor space so large groups are no problem.

The base rate for the lodge assumes a group of 4 people and increases by $ per person per night for extras. Plus a $135 cleaning fee. If my final rate turns you off as being too high, it is because you have a large group. Compare my nightly rate to getting multiple 300 square foot hotel rooms with the lobby as your hangout space. Night and day comparison. Happy to discuss with you different options. Having everyone under one roof is priceless. I also charge extra but not as much for people visiting. Please let me know your plans as to how many people will be on property. Staying and visiting. I'm very fair and for large groups I always allow some people free when told of your plans. If you aren't honest about your plans we'll have a problem.

Remember, you can do just about anything at the lodge IF you tell me ahead of time and pay for it. Its very simple. Life is WAY too fun and WAY too short for crummy sneaky destructive disrespectful people.

We only want fun, happy, well adjusted, smart, interesting people on property. If you want the Ritz - give 'em a call. Life is WAY to short for complaining and crummy people. We try hard to offer a quality product and experience but with nearly 6,000SF of space we can miss things and we do decorate and furnish ourselves. We do encourage constructive feedback tho as we are always trying to do better.

A fishing deck was just added and hiking trails are now being improved. Always something going on at Hickory Lodge to make it better and better. This last group actually had me set up a bed on the lakeside stage with a pretty white canopy mesh net and they slept under the stars. Just about anything is possible.

If you can imagine it, I can make it happen! It's truly a magic place. We get many many compliments on the great energy, tranquility and happiness housed at Hickory Lodge.

- "Wow, what a beautiful rental! We highly recommend staying here. The horses are super sweet and very well taken care of. The horses love the provided treats. We enjoyed fresh duck eggs and biscuits for breakfast. While eating, we enjoyed fresh red roses on the dining table while we glanced at the horses between bites and conversation. Coffee beans in the fridge. Aromatherapy towels and essential oils to help relax. Towel warmer and a great shower in a nicely done and cozy bathroom. She really has thought of everything. Even bug spray! Also, the horse fact scavenger hunt was quite fun and a nice addition to the experience. Thank you for a great stay!"

- "My mom and I were visiting Canton for a family gathering. The barn is rustic and we enjoyed are stay. We saw a mom deer and her baby. The bed room and bathroom are upstairs. Living room and kitchen downstairs. Everything you needed was there. Including a washer and dryer. No microwave but there is a toaster oven. Had alittle trouble accessing the door lock because after you put the code you must push the lock button for it to unlock. A few minor things there was a smell when we first walked in like it was musty. Of course it was a barn below and a room is built over a stable . We bought some air fresher and that seemed to take care of the issue. The outside porch could be cleaned up alittle and the two planters are wornout that sit there. We didnt see a grill at all. Did see an outdoor pit but we didn't use it Someone parked right outside while we were staying there and accessed the garage that connects to the barn while we there. They eventually moved there vehicle. You can't view the lake unless you step behind the residents home which we didn't do and there is no access to the lake. So the porch view up top of the barn is the road out front. Not much to look at except for the house being built across the street. The sofa and bed are not firm so if you like soft you will be sure to love it. The subdivision is nice lots of trees and nice homes. The host were great. We appreciate you letting us stay."

Our 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath log cabin is a great place to stay and relax for the week/weekend. Designed beautifully with stone and logs, designer chefs kitchen and floor to ceiling windows with peaceful views of equestrian fenced acreage. The best part of this cabin is the private outdoor sparkling pool and heated hot tub with a stone waterfall feature. Absolutely no large parties are allowed but small gatherings are acceptable. We do have cameras outside (pool/hot tub area, front of garage area, front gate.) We are a Wedding and Events venue, but if the cabin is booked there will not be any other events going on. We also have a farm full of different kinds of animals! You are welcome to bring vegetables and fruit if you want to feed them :-)

This is our private sanctuary, and we're delighted to share it with you. The basement studio apartment is conveniently accessed via the patio door at the rear of the property. We reside in the upper levels, accessible through a separate entrance at the front of the house.

For movie aficionados, our large in-house TVs and the outdoor patio screen offer a perfect viewing experience. Lovely well-appointed single-level home nestled in the foothills of North Georgia's Cherokee county. You enter the front door into a spacious living room that includes super comfy couch and oversized round lounging chair that is wonderful to settle into with your new favorite book or magazine.

In the kitchen you'll find all the essential cookwares, utensils, and spices to cook for your entire group. There's a separate dining room as well.

The inviting coral bathroom includes a shower head with great water pressure and also offers the option of a having a nice long soak bath as it doubles as a bathtub.

Don't forget to make sure to spend time outdoors as the exterior of the home offers plenty! NOT located in a neighborhood, the front porch has both rocking chairs and a swing for spending quality time together while watching the hummingbirds visit the feeders out front by the rosh bushes. Up on the hill, there is a stone-paved patio with an outdoor table and chairs and a fire pit to surround on those cool autumn evenings. There's even a tire swing that hangs from the limb of our majestic oak.
