- "Incredible place! “ a treaure in the sky” as the view is unbelievable!. The village of Cordes sur Ciel will transpiort you in another century. You have to drive up and the parkng might be difficult except at the rental where you beneficiate of a pass right by the house . Our appartement “emergence” was so beautiful. Extremely clean and decorated as in a tasteful home. The breakfast was wonderful and abundant. iThe greeting/service :5 stars too! I rarely make so good review but it was so wonderful!"

A traditional secluded farmhouse with a fabulous terrace which attracted lots of varieties of butterflies and other wildlife. The highlight is the beautiful pool, which was very welcome with the air temperature being in the mid 30’s. The house is extremely well equipped and we were provided with large, fluffy towels, toiletries, and many things you don’t often get with a property in France. - "Our stay was a pleasant surprise. I booked an apartment in the centre of Cordes-sur-Ciel, but after the first downpayment, I received a remorseful message that the location had been misplaced on the site. The apartment was situated in Itzac, in the countryside not in Cordes. The pictures on the site we’re genuine fields and countryside- when I booked I just imagined Cordes a lot smaller than it realistically was. The hostess was very friendly. She offered us vegetables from her garden, communication was a bit difficult, her English was a good as my French, but we could communicate the essentials. In small advice I’d like to offer is to install WiFi. This seems out of spirit, but all communication with the outside world is nowadays done by internet. No more yellowpages. We had to improvise, plan next days while away, instead of calmly while having breakfast. Also I advise to have musquitonets available. We were assaulted and had to sleep windows closed. Nevertheless, it was a very satisfying and enriching experience. I’d love to come back someday."

Built at the end of the 19th century, the Fabrique in the popular Fourmiguier district saw around a hundred workers arriving every morning working on some 26 embroidery looms. - "We had the pleasure of staying 9 days at La Gaudane in Cordes Sur Ciel. We were a family of 15-all ages (from baby to grandparent). I booked La Gaudane from California and family from Germany and France joined us in our stay. We rented the entire factory and it was such a cool experience! The teens got to sleep in what Jacque called the dormitory and they LOVED it. It was a large room with 6 twin beds- which I was told were comfortable. My husband and I were on the second floor across the hall from where Jacque resides. We really enjoyed our room- it had its own private bathroom/shower and the bed was very comfortable. Jacque stays on the property, but is very discrete and we rarely ever saw him until we texted him for something. He has plenty of washers and dryers which was perfect for our large group. He provided laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and soaps and shampoos which we REALLY appreciated. We invited local family over for dinners we cooked in one of the well equipped kitchens that had a large room/tables for all of us to sit together and eat. The teens and young adults enjoyed the pool as well. It was fun learning about the history of the factory in the museum on the ground floor. You are literally in Cordes- you need only take a short stroll up the cobblestone gorgeous streets and you are at the center of it all. Jacque had so many things we could do and we didnt make use of all the amenities because we spent so many days touring all the local castles"

The house is an old Cordova house completely restored. The house is located in the center of the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. Right next to the main square, you can stroll through the preserved streets and alleys of the city. The walk is conducive to the discovery of the many local artisans. Cordes hosts many restaurants. It is Saturday morning that the market takes place at the bottom of the city.

The house is at the end of rue de la Bride, just before the staircase of the Passage de l'Olmet. Pass the door (right before the stairs) and discover the patio of the house.

The charm of the house is its main asset. Two large panoramic terraces allow to indulge in farnientė in peace. A small garden is leaning against the house.

- "Right in the middle of the village, but still very quiet and peaceful in the home. The views from the windows are like paintings and the pictures don’t do the place justice. We have stayed in many VRBOs since 2007, and this one is memorable and unique, and a very good restoration. Definitely need to have good mobility. Enjoyed cooking and hanging out in the magnificent kitchen and side sitting area. We stayed for only one week, and could easily have stayed for a month. The caretaker has a shop right around the corner and communication was very easy."

Dating back to the twelfth century the medieval citadel is beautifully preserved and offers an extraordinary trip back in time. The village has a weekly market and all the shops you need to create beautiful food in your well equipped kitchen. Our Gite has been upgraded recently and will sleep a family of four in comfort and five if someone is happy to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. We provide free parking.
