- "Great setting of the hotel, upon arrival we were given an upgrade of our room. Nice and very large on the ground floor. A somewhat dated room but nevertheless clean and lovely. Parking was easy and on the large grounds. A quiet area. For dinner we decided to walk into town a walk of about 25 minutes. To begin with it was downhill and then levelled out and then up the hill towards the church. We are older citizens and the walk was no major challenge more a lovely walk. The town has many choices for dinner and is a nice place to walk around. Overall the hotel was a very good choice. Breakfast was a nice affair."

- "This property was in excellent condition and very well set up for guests. The communication was good and it is in a lovely location. We had a fabulous stay. " - "It was not clear from the listing that this little house is a few minute walk up a gravel path from where you can park your car, and the instructions for finding the property were limited. The initial communication from the owner or manager was not well organized (for instance, we were sent instructions on what to do with the garbage even before we got there but nothing about what the property looked like from the path/approach). Then we had a hard time once we got in because the water in the house wasn't turned on, and there was no password written on the "Welcome" document so we had to find the wifi router, which took a bit of time, and then there were multiple codes that looked like they could be passwords - extending the confusion and frustration (we were trying to get wifi working to facilitate communication with the host/manager to figure out the water). The kitchen was decently stocked with cooking equipment and flatware, but it felt like we had to scrounge around looking for soap for the bathrooms and there were only two small rolls of toilet paper.It looks like the cottage was recently renovated inside, and that was nicely done. It is an easy walk into town, which we appreciated; it had an outdoor space that worked well for us and our little kids; and the uphill neighbor (who mows the grass for the property) was very friendly and obliging with recommendations for the area when we met him."
