- "We enjoyed our stay in June. The apartment is small, but met the needs of our family of 4. Convenient location with so much to see. We were there the weekend of the D-Day Anniversary celebration and WOW, we felt like we were right in the heart of so many activities. Yet, the evenings were so peaceful and quiet since everything closes relatively early. The ocean view is amazing. The beds were basically futon mattresses, so very thin. I would recommend an upgrade on the beds. We cooked some meals which was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed."

Mont St Michel, St Terese of Lisieux, amongst other sites, are all within a two-hour drive.

And Paris is just 2.5 hours train journey from Bayeux train station. It is possible to park in Bayeux train station for up to five days at a time, for a minimal fee.

When we departed we drove to Caen and dropped off the car as that was the nearest car rental location which was conveniently located next to the train station so we hoped on a train to Paris to continue our journey.The house itself was lovely with 4 bedrooms and the most amazing view of Omaha Beech as we were literally across the street from the beach and we could walk down the street to an assortment of restaurants."

Our thatched cottage is located directly across from Omaha Beach. You have the sea view and has a large garden and a stream. Enjoy the terrace facing south and sheltered from the wind.
To go to the beach, just cross the street.
In the evening, you can sit by the fireplace or use the small sauna.
