Spend a relaxing vacation watching the gorgeous sunsets on 'Lake Greenwood', or dining over looking the peaceful big water views. The house is perfect if you want to sit back and read a book in the quiet den or watch a movie on the 55 inch smart TV's, while the others are entertaining in the bar area or sun room. You can also have a great time fishing right off of the private fish pier just a few steps to the water. We are known for plentiful Bream, Shell Crackers, Bass and Catfish. For those of you that are nature lovers and trying to keep fit, take an early morning walk in the tranquil neighborhood, you may sight some deer, rabbits, fox and wild turkeys (and a few neighbors walking their prize pets!). We also have sights for the bird watchers: Bald Eagles, Egrets, Purple Martins and Herons.

If you are more adventurous and want to get out we have many local restaurants, Tiki huts, & quaint bars that offer live music or karaoke by water and land. We even have an award winning Barbeque restaurant (Lee's Barbeque) in the area for that down home cooked southern meal.

If you are bringing your boat put in right here on the private boat ramp, you may want to pull up onto the local sandbars and cool off or play a game of volley ball. {Goat Island} is also a resting area that boaters can pull up on to the beach and relax. Amy's Mink is a great opportunity to disconnect from life's fast pace and reconnect with yourself and your family. It's right on the lake, with a private boat ramp and a short pier for your use. The cabin's a rustic place, nothing fancy, built out of a picnic shelter by my great-grandfather and brought up-to-date by my uncle. Our wish is to keep this place special and unique and to share our family vacation home with yours. We love the easygoing nature the cabin brings out in us, and we hope you do, too!

The cabin is a nice balance of new and old. Our family enjoys the stereo while cooking or playing board games and cards. The kids fish off the pier and roast marshmallows in the bonfire pit. There's access to WiFi and a Smart TV for your convenience, but we encourage our guests to spend time in the lake, reading, or relaxing in a way that is much easier to do when we're disconnected.

The cabin consists of a large common space (one pull-out couch with a queen mattress), two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with queen bed), bathroom, and kitchen. There is an outdoor shower and a large deck with a picnic table and gas grill. The pier is nice to watch the sunset or read, but only in the summer is the water really high enough to tie your boat. The water level drops in the winter and makes the pier inaccessible by boat. People have told me they still use the boat ramp and just return their boat to their trailer during this time.

The cabin is perfect for the summer but can be chilly in the winter, as the floors are concrete. For AC, there are units in each room and a large unit in the common space. For heating, there are electric space heaters in each of the bedrooms and bathroom. You can set them as you see fit.

Entrance to the cabin is on the lake side. There is a Smart lock on the door for easy entrance. Renters get their own personal code, which is given upon booking. Self check-in makes it easy for you to arrive at your leisure. There is a motion light on the side of the cabin that will light up if you arrive after dark.

Guests have access to almost everything, including the boat ramp. The only areas off-limits are the sheds in the backyard and the small attic space above the kitchen. Nobody lives on-site, so you have the property to yourself and are asked to take good care of the space. If you notice anything -- downed tree, shower leak, etc. -- please let me know me immediately so it can be taken care of.

The cabin is about a 25-30 minutes' drive from Greenwood and Clinton, which is far enough away to where you can really experience the peacefulness of the lake but close enough to make a trip to pick up groceries and other necessities.

Everything we needed to cook and grill was there. Theres a decent mexican restaurant 7 miles away or so for one night we didnt feel like cooking. Great experience overall!"

- "This was a fantastic home to rent with a wonderful quiet view of the lake. Plenty of interesting places to visit if you are willing to drive. We went to a lot of the towns and visited a lot of interesting antique stores and some museums. We ate at many small mom and pop restaurants, our goal was to not eat at any chain restaurants. Be adventurous and look for places the locals eat. The house has all you need to be comfortable and entertained. We went at the end of March the weather was good just not real hot but we expected that. We would like to come back in July or August to experience the lake options, boating and water sports. This property is WELL maintained and you could actually feel the love of labor that went into building/preparing it for guests. We felt so comfortable that we didn't want to go back home....LOL. The fire pit was beautiful and we fished day and night right off of the private Pier/dock. The owner's were very warm and welcoming by ensuring that we had everything we needed to feel Welcomed into their home... We felt very safe, and the Sunsets were beyond Breathtaking...Every morning, we had our coffee and breakfast looking out over the lake- taking it all in... Come and visit our lakefront four-bedroom, two-bathroom home, located on beautiful Lake Greenwood with a spectacular view of a quiet, shallow water cove!

There is a dock for you to tie up your boat, pontoon, or jetski. You will have a blast cruising around the lake, swimming, or fishing in and out of our cove!

Enjoy spending time on our spacious lakefront deck with ceiling fans that create a breeze on hot days. You can sip your coffee in the morning while watching beautiful sunrises or drink a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down. We have a tiki bar, spool bar tops, and bar stools with ample seating to accommodate large groups. You can have every meal with a waterfront view if your heart desires!

Sit around a crackling bonfire at night while listening to the crickets and frogs, or indulge in some s'more making. You can soak up the peace and serenity of the beautiful stars at night and do a little star gazing. This is a perfect spot to take in all that nature has to offer!

The home is an older home but has updates throughout. It's just a short 25 minute drive to Lauren's, Clinton, and Greenwood, SC with various shops and restaurants. A few golf courses are nearby as well.

Wifi internet is available (password is located on a sign in the living room). The living room includes a flat-screen TV, couch, & love seat.

The dining area has a kitchen table with space for up to 6 people.

The kitchen includes an oven/stove combo, refrigerator with freezer and icemaker, coffee pot, and all the utensils to do any cooking or serving you desire.

A washing machine & dryer are available so that you can return home without a pile to catch up on.

Bedroom 1: King bed and a flat-screen TV. Full bathroom attached with washer & dryer.

Bedrooms 2 & 3: A queen bed each. No TVs.

Bedroom 4: Full bed. No TV. Portable A/C and space heater.

All linens are furnished and washed before each renter arrives. Towels and wash rags are provided as well. Towels are for in-home use only, so please bring your own lake towels. Bathrooms are also supplied with toilet paper.

Absolutely no pets.

Absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house. Any evidence of smoking or vaping in the house will result in the loss of your security deposit. Ashtrays are provided on the back deck for outdoor smoking.

If you have a golf cart, bring it along with you, and ride the friendly lakefront communities.

A gas grill is provided for all your grilling needs.

Boat & jetski rentals are available at Skipper's Landing which is just a short ride away. Also within close distance is Moon's Landing & Lighthouse Landing.

The water surrounds the dock from approximately April 15th to October 31st and is typically at approximately 3 feet surrounding the dock during this time. During the fall/winter season, the water is not in our cove due to the lowering of the lake level at this time of year. There are nearby boat ramps such as Moon's Landing and Lighthouse Landing if you need to launch a boat or other watercraft vessel. DO NOT JUMP OFF THE DOCK AT ANY TIME AS THE WATER IS SHALLOW.

Please note, there are surveillance cameras located on the front and back porch to allow for reasonable monitoring of the outside of the property, while still protecting the privacy of our guests.

Welcome to Kristen's Lakeside Retreat! You will love the view from the front covered porch, it's absolutely beautiful and that's a understatement. This home includes a lakefront view, a hot tub, and a dining table on the covered porch. There is amazing sunset views from the porch. This is literally steps to the water, and a boat dock that is perfect for fishing and swimming. This house contains a fully equipped kitchen and a beautifully decorated living space.
