The home has 3 floors, each with bedrooms and bathroom. The large open kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies.
Inside the house, each floor has at least 2 twins and a queen bed, a bathroom, plus an area where people can gather. The lowest floor has twin trundles. The main floor has an open concept kitchen and living room with connected dining room. Most rooms have either views of the lake or the oaks on the property. For outdoor seating, there are both front and back decks, as well as a covered area that overlooks a small courtyard on the lowest floor.
The house sits on 5 acres that guests are free to explore and enjoy in areas where other guests are not present.
The entire home is available to guests with the exception of a room downstairs that we use for storing supplies. Since this is a developing retreat center, the entire 5 acres may not be private. We also host rv boondockers, primitive campers, and soon, single family cabins.
We can interact (or not) with the guests depending upon their needs. We live nearby, so we can be available if necessary. However, if guests desire privacy, we will definitely honor that.

- "Very relaxing" - "The house met our needs for a weekend away from home. " - "I was working in the area and this place gave a great alternative to staying at a hotel. The convenience of having a kitchen and laundry was very appealing. The place was clean, well stocked a very accommodating for a two week stay. The price was great as well. The size of the home was great, larger than we needed. We only used one of the bedrooms and kept the other two closed. The issues with lack of cleanliness, a broken toilet, and most of all the inadequacy of safety due to a bad door, rotting door frame, and a non-working bottom lock/latch were the parts that were disappointing and ruined the stay for us in the end. When we called customer service about one of the problems, we repeatedly got the same reply, completely disregarding what we were asking about. It could have been a fantastic stay but turned out to be a let down, partially because representatives ignored the given information."

Grounds are beautiful and if it is just for a small family get away it is adequate but buyer beware if you try to have many people there."
