- "We stayed in this hotel for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. It has lots of character and with only a few rooms to rent it offers a private atmosphere without noisy tourists. The swimming pool is a nice treat on a hot day. Right opposite the hotel, there is a little supermarket where you can buy all necessary food and drink. Also right next to I Mulini Resort, there is another bigger hotel owned by the same person, that offers all the usual i.e. private beach, big swimming pool with a bar etc. which you are also allowed to use anytime. The staff was very friendly. The receptionist was always happy to give an advice on where to go, how to get there etc. I would recommend hiring a car if you decide for this hotel. It is quite remote from the nearest town Trapani and its night life. Don't worry about the cost as parking is free in the town."

We had a great time in Erice, only wish we could have stayed longer. The only potential downsides to the apartment is that all three floors are connected by a spiral staircase, and there is only air conditioning on the top floor - however opening windows for mountain breezes did the trick. The ground and first floor are both accessible from the courtyard- making the spiral only a necessity when accessing the top bedroom and terrace. The unit offers the most magnificent views of surrounding country and Trapani that we could have asked for."

The owner's wife picked us up from an intersection on a way from Palermo, that was very helpful for being first time in the area, explained where to park, places to go. Granted, we do not speak Italian, but we were able to communicate still. Place is very clean and cozy, with nice garden terrace. Its very quite, and I mean very! about ten minutes car ride from downtown attractions, away from streets. Close walk to cable car to Erice, 5 min ride to supermarket. the owners even left for us some local wine with fruits and sweets. You need a car to enjoy town attractions though or you will be up to a long walks!"
