Grazia, the young woman who works at the villa handles just about everything, and she helped us secure tickets for day trips, made sure we had everything we needed and was sweet and charming while working very hard to make sure we were taken care of. The food was some of the best I have had in Italy, and I have been to Italy over 15 times. This is a very special place. The rooms are clean and everything works. We had a memorable experience during our stay at the Villa Ricca and I highly recommend it."

- "We had a 14 night stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Carmelo is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Tina the cleaning lady bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and that your room is clean, refreshed, well stocked with fresh towels, linens, etc. All staff are great . Breakfast is included alrhough if your looking to start your day off with proteins, you will be disappointed. Breakfast consits of croissants in assorted varieties, cakes, cookies, there is sliced bread and a toaster, assortment of jams, and spreads, fruit is limited, there are hard boiled eggs, the coffee is very dissapointing as its not freshly brewed but through a machine that uses k-cups ..the breakfast was the same day in day out. The orher thing is the hotel does not have assigned or designated parking for their guests. So we arrive back at the end of your day you might find yourself driving around the block a few times before you land a parking spot close to the hotels entrance. The door to the hotel is at times a challenge to unlock..not an easy task. There are also 4 flights of stairs to do to get to your room. The hotel is in a great location, many gelaterias, bars, amenities close by. The hotel always smelled lovely, and fresh, having AC was a blessing. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend Hotel Marconi."

The house can host up to 8 people and it structured on 2 floors:

GROUND FLOOR: a kitchen, a big living/dining-room with sofa-bed for 2 guests, 1 bathroom. There's no air conditioning on the ground floor.

FIRST FLOOR: 3 double bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds, all with air conditioning, and 1 bathroom.

Our stunning 230m² villa, designed by an architect, is situated on the beautiful Sicilian beach of Mongiove (Patti-Messina). The villa offers an exceptional view of the Aeolian Islands (Vulcano, Stromboli, Lipari, Panarea, Salina, Alicudi, and Filicudi). What makes it unique is its direct access to the beach and sea. From our terrace-garden, you only need to step onto the sand to enjoy the beautiful Sicilian beach.

The 230m² house is spread over three floors. The ground floor features a spacious living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all surrounded by a large terrace-garden filled with plants and flowers, making it the perfect spot for lunch and dinner while watching the summer sunset. The first and second floors, also surrounded by terraces, house the bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with an additional bathroom.

On the first floor, you will find two master bedrooms with double beds and air conditioning, as well as a single bedroom. The second floor includes another master bedroom and a room with three single beds, completing the villa.

You will be conveniently located between the two main Sicilian airports: Catania and Palermo, both about an hour and a half drive away. This prime location makes it easy to explore our beautiful island, with destinations such as Taormina, Cefalú, Milazzo, Palermo, Catania, and Siracusa all within easy reach by car. For hiking enthusiasts, the Nebrodi and Madonie mountains, as well as Etna, Europe’s largest volcano (over 3300 meters high), are also nearby.

If you wish to spend a weekend in the charming mountain village of Isnello, we also have some apartments there and can arrange a special offer. Mongiove is a peaceful fishing village where you will find the tranquility and relaxation everyone deserves during a holiday. It is also famous for its "Grotte," small beaches formed among the rocks and reefs of Monte Giove (Mountain of Mongiove), easily accessible with a 5-10 minute walk along the beach.

Pleasant surroundings once there, but for anyone looking for comfort, this is not the place. Sparse furnishings, not a shelf, hook or soap dish in bathroom. Light too dim to read & TV reception fuzzy. The one unexpected "luxury" was extra pillows. Did not have dinner there, so can't speak for food, but breakfast somewhat disappointing - this is an agroturismo hotel supposed to feature local products, which seem to be primarily citrus trees, pecans and olives & we were hoping for fresh fruit or juice. What we got was coffee, a small serving of toast, cookies and chocolate filled croissants - the latter homemade, but not appealing (to us at least) at 8 AM. However, the people who run the place were very nice & the price was reasonable for Sicily, so if comfort is not important & you don't mind being a good distance from the nearest tourist attractions, Monte Alto might be the place for you."
