- "The hotel was absolutely a great place. It's a resort with pool and beach and lots of dancing and singing at night. They even have activities for kids. Our reservation included breakfast lunch and dinner.....what a great deal. The Food was great. The only thing we found throughout Sicily the rooms were warm so we slept with the windows open. Evenings there were always things to do. The complex is large and has it's own trolley system to take people down to the pool and beach areas as well as between buildings. It was a bit difficult to find at first and it's not located in the town of Sciacca proper, but it's not too far from there, either and buses run to get you around. All in all our stay was great and if we go back to Sicily again we would definitely consider staying there."

We did have a relaxing holiday (not much else to do). Sicilians are friendly but do not speak English, language was a problem. If you want to experience the real Sicily then Alcudi is a great base."
