- "The hotel is out of town so nice and quiet. I arrived in the evening so, as there is no street lighting, and no large illuminated sign it is not easy to spot. It's a farm so they don't probably don't want a huge neon sign. I was a little concerned I'd made a mistake but once inside everything was fine. The staff was welcoming and helpful in carrying luggage. The room looked as thought it was very recently refurbished. A rustic style rather than ultra modern but the en-suite bathroom does have a modern feel. It is all done to a high standard. Wi-fi worked well, breakfast was included although I wasn't able to try it. Excellent value for money."

A centuries-old oak log was discovered by restoring the big double bedroom: it was embedded crosswise a wall. Now it belongs to the room decoration together with the rugs, the upholstered chairs, the ancient iron bedheads, the wardrobe with mirror and a metal basin stand.
The single bedroom is particularly silent because of its isolated position. It comprises a closet, a small desk and a shelf for books.

The home is 100 years old but has modern amenities as well as character features. The hosts Paulo & Gabriella were very helpful in every way and it was a real bonus that they could speak good English. We loved the town of Faenza despite the devastation that was caused by the flooding several weeks ago.The locals were very welcoming and we enjoyed the fact that we were the only tourists everywhere we went!!This spot is not on the tourist trail however all the more famous sights are within easy driving distance. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the REAL Italy."
