Will be coming back " - "Villa Regina is very tired, poorly maintained room; black mould in shower, cracked shower tray, sloppy paint job, dirty rug, cupboards that stank of damp and old and made all my clothes stink and little to no soundproofing. It’s a 4 star that would struggle to get a 3 star rating in any other country. Staff on reception were so aloof, least friendly we’d come across. Property has no pool service, all courts are dirty, just not up to its 4/5 star billing. I’m sure the new annex is better but I would not pay €900 a night to stay in this hotel. It doesn’t deserve 5 stars. "

- "First, I want to say we had a great experience staying here. Not many Americans visit this area. We got to meet travelers from all over Europe. My good and bad notes; Sunbeds are not free. Bring bug spray, lots of mosquitoes at dusk. Ocean water was very warm, perfect temperature. Breakfast was free and pretty good. Place is beautiful at night. Lots of restaurants and shops near by. We did not eat dinner at the hotel so I cant say if its good or not. Seemed to be clean and well kept. If your budget allows, I recommend it."

We had a Comfort Room, which was very comfortable, spacious and had perfect view from the 6th floor over the beach. Highly recommendable. Very extensive breakfast buffet. On the negative side, check-in was slow with no additional information, like where breakfast would be, or discounted pricing for the beaches, or information about the facilities (we realized only after a few days that the hotel has a big swimming pool area at the back). The room booked showed the hotel room which i wanted but the room allocated was in the attic of the villa this was tiny and I do not recommend unless you are on your own, it cost 500 euros to upgrade. If you want a decent room do not book the classic unless you choose the sea view option as you will most likely be put in the attic. If they have a buffet and you love fish make sure you eat in the hotel that evening you will love it."
